pixie cut pixie cut 2021 pixie cut advice watch this before getting a pixie cut pixie cut Philippines pixie cuts for round faces self-love self-acceptance how to be confident in a pixie cut short hair cut watch this so you won't regret getting a pixie cut Things I Wanted to Hear Before Getting a PIXIE CUT boy cut boyish hair for girls

I i okay, i'm sorry, i'm late okay, so i heard that you're either going through a mental breakdown want to spice up your look, feel insecure about your hair and you want to get a pixie cut, but you're kind of unsure about it. So you're searching on the internet for advice, videos and words of encouragement to see. If you should actually get a pixie cut, then i guess you called the right person, hello. My name is jamie and in this video i'm going to be convincing you and giving you advice as to why you should get a pixie cut. I'Ve had my pixie cut for about eight months now, and here are some of the things i would have told my past self to encourage her and give her advice, so that she'd be more confident into getting the pixie cut, and i hope these would be helpful For you, if the reasons i stated, aren't the reason why you're getting a pixie cut, then please do tell in the comments below, because i'm very curious. The reasons i just stated are the most common ones, and also one of them is the reason why i got my pixie cut right. So before i say anything, i'm going to be describing to you how my hair looked like and how i felt about it, so that you understand why i speak so highly about getting a pixie cut. So when i was a child or like maybe i was like in elementary, my hair was pin straight. It was super straight and not frizzy, no problems at all until seventh grade came and my hair just poofed up for no reason. My hair pattern just changed and apparently it was curly, so i tried the curly girl method and nothing worked right. I would also get bullied a lot for my hair or like at least get some kinds of comments that i didn't really like about my hair. So i associated my hair with a lot of negative thoughts and energy. So the moment i cut it off, i was so relieved and i was so happy about how i looked and how everything turned out with my hair. So the first thing that i would like to say is: please do not cut your hair because you hate it or out of impulse. You see, i know the urge to cut your hair is so strong right now, especially in quarantine. You know if you cut your hair because of this. That is when you will feel regret. That'S when you will regret getting the pixie cut and you will not feel so great about your decisions. So if you are insecure about your hair or just really want to cut it, i suggest that you really really think about it and just think about the reasons why you want to get a pixie cut and see if it's actually worth it. Of course, if you are insecure like i was, please take your time to accept your hair and learn to love yourself, honestly, we're all about self-love and self-acceptance here. So please have some yourself. It is very important to have those kinds of things before you get. This really dramatic change with your hair, because if you don't, you might regret it and we don't want that right. We don't second thing i want to tell you is: don't worry too much about the style of your pixie cut if you haven't gotten it yet right. So let's say that you've already took some time and you already thought about getting the pixie cut and you really really want it. I suggest not worrying too much about the style of the pixie cut that you're going to get it's more important to bite the bullet and just get the big cut. Honestly, if it brings you any comfort. Here is the picture of my first pixie cut. It was my mom that did it so she was clearly unexperienced, but the amount of joy i felt when i got the haircut was so great. I didn't even care about how my hair looked. I was just so glad that that hunk of hair was just off my head. You know later on. After you get the first pixie cut, you will have a better understanding of your face, shape and understand what kind of style you want. If you want the top to be longer and like the back way shorter, if you really want a pixie cut, it's just important to just dive in just do it or if you do want to do some kind of research before getting the pixie cut. I suggest going on google and on pinterest and looking at the people who have a similar face, shape with you and if you don't know what face shape you have, and you don't know how to tell. I will link brad mondo's video in the card, because that's what helped me the most in figuring out my face shape and after that you can search and maybe show your hairdresser a picture of what kind of hairstyle you want. Third thing: here's what concerns people a lot is looking like a boy. You need to accept that you will look like a boy or a little bit boyish with the pixie cut. Sadly, our society has associated really short hair with boys or males or masculine people. So we really can't run from that, but here's the next thing. If you are worried about that there are so many ways you can look feminine. Okay, you can still look feminine in a pixie cut. You can put on makeup, you can wear earrings, you can dress more feminine. It'S really hair is not the only way to express your femininity. Okay. There are many many different ways you can dress feminine. You can paint your nails, i'm not saying that any of these things are exclusively to look feminine, but there are certain ways you can do these things so that you can show your or enhance your femininity. If, if that makes sense, i'm not saying that makeup and clothes and stuff are just for girls. No, if you're a guy - and you want to do those stuff, do it man, i mean look, i'm a girl with a pixie cut. Who am i this gatekeep stuff like that right? Another thing that worries, so many people is face shape. Please stop worrying about your face, shape. Here'S one thing that i said to myself to convince myself and not feel so bad about getting a pixie cut. Is someone out there in the world with my exact face, shape may be like a guy or a girl. They have my exact face shape and they have a pixie cut and i'm sure that they look great. I'M not sure if that makes much sense. But it's just something i said you know someone out there in the world has a pixie cut with my face shape and they look great. Therefore, i will also look great okay face shape, isn't something to worry about totally, i feel like pixie cuts, though they may seem like very similar. There are many many many styles out there that you can try to see if it will fit your face shape. I'M very sure that there is a pixie cut for every single face shape out there. I also want to mention so in my pros and cons video that i uploaded a few months ago. I pinned a comment asking for you guys to ask me questions. There'S this person that replied to that pinned comment and they asked will it still look good even with a little bit of chubby cheeks? Of course, chubby cheeks are so cute everyone, everyone, okay, listen, no matter what face shape! You have you're, still beautiful, come on. No matter how much cheeks you have or how much cheeks you don't have girl or guy you still look great come on. I heard that asymmetrical pixie cuts are more suitable for people with chubbier faces girl, it doesn't matter. Chubby cheeks are cute they're, beautiful, you're beautiful. I think my face looks slimmer with a pixie cut i'll try to insert a picture here. I was around the same weight in this picture, yet my cheeks look way chubbier, because my hair emphasizes my cheeks and that made it more obvious. But now like there's nothing behind my head to emphasize my cheeks, oh the phone that i'm using might fall. The next thing i want to say is, i assure you that hair grows so much faster than how people make it seem like. Let'S say that you got a pixie cut and you regret it. It'S gon na grow. In no time i swear your hair grows faster than you think. It'S just not so obvious, because it's long but girl when you get the pixie cut, she's gon na grow so fast you're, not gon na you're, not even gon na notice. Also - or maybe you don't regret your pixie cut, but you want to try it a different style seriously like the next month, just let it grow a little bit and you can get a new style. I honestly think that if i did not cut my hair after the first time, i would have like a short bob by now. The next thing i'd like to tell you is, and you've probably heard this a lot. If you watched a lot of pixie cut videos, maybe try faking a pixie cut. You know i did this so much in the past to see. If i really wanted a pixie cut, it's a really good way to see and tell if you really want a pixie cut. So what you do basically is like you tie your hair. I can't really demonstrate, because i don't have the hair, tie your hair up and then flip the ponytail over, so that the ends of your hair is like over your forehead and after that maybe get like a beanie or maybe get your hoodie put it over and Just look at yourself in the mirror. This will also give you a good idea of what kind of style you want. So i really really suggest doing that. The final thing i would really like to say is: if you were like me, and you were very, very insecure about your hair and you've, properly properly thought about getting a pixie cut, and you know that it will help. You feel better and more confident. In your looks, then, you know what by all means, get it get that pixie cut. You know you're going to feel so much better about yourself. After also, how will you be able to say that you tried all hairstyles ever in your life? If you haven't gotten a pixie cut, but also please, please remember that you're still very much beautiful and valid, no matter what hairstyle or hair type you have. I feel like society kind of favors people with straight hair, more especially here in the philippines. Literally, if you have curly hair they'll, just encourage you to have it like chemically straightened and that's not great for your hair. Here'S just a reminder for you that your hair is beautiful and you don't need to change it just because other people want you to change it or just because society thinks that you look better with a different kind of hair style or hair type. Basically, if there's anything that you should take away from this video is that make sure that you properly properly think about getting the pixie cut. You know have time to think about it. Don'T impulsively cut your hair because that's when regret comes in and it's literally better to just do it and figure stuff out as you go with the in terms of hairstyle at least yeah. That'S pretty much all i wanted to say. I'M going to be pinning a comment down below, and that is where you can ask any questions regarding pixie cuts. If you are on a pixie cut marathon, i suggest that you watch the pros and cons videos i made a few months ago, and i will link that in a little card thing that you can click at the end of the video i've been having a lot Of trouble with thinking of kinds of content that i'll be putting out recently, and if you have any suggestions or ideas for me to do so, i would really really appreciate it if you would recommend or give me some ideas in the comments below so that i'll Have like a better grip of what kinds of content y'all want to see from me. It can be hair related and it can be like lifestyle or like challenges, literally anything if in case you do want to see me on other social media platforms. I am over here. This is my handles on twitter and on instagram. You can send me a message over there and say that you came from youtube so that i'll give you a follow back yeah, i literally haven't posted in so long. I kind of forgot how to do outros bye,

keep dreaming, jamie: Hello! If you have any questions or video suggestions please feel free to leave them in the replies!

Vee: Ive been want to get a pixie but its SOOOO hard to find a reference image that is not a Karen

Heaven Bunny: I was afraid that my pixie cut would look awful on me because I have a very round face, but it actually suits me a whole lot better than long hair ever did.

Raynebowmo: You: "don't do this on impulse" Me: *starts cutting hair mid video*

kannonzaaaka: i’m non binary (assigned female at birth) and i feel very dysphoric about my hair. all i want is to cut it off and have it like yours!! sadly my dad is very traditional and i don’t think he would be okay with it, but i might try to bring it up with him either way. thank you for motivating me. have a great day<3 btw, youre beautiful!!!

Macey MJS: *when looking masculine is the point* ✌️

Veeiswerid: Im getting my haircut in 5 Minutes and I’m happy but really nervous- EDIT I GOT THE CUT AND ITS SO CUTE I FEEL SO COOL RN

Kira Kusumi: I REALLY needed that advice about the face shape. I’m very self conscious about having a round face shape and I’ve been wanting a pixie cut for like half a year but I keep thinking that it might make my face look rounder. You made me decide to take the plunge and not care about that!

Marigold Equestrian: i’ve been considering a pixie cut for awhile, the shortest i’ve ever went is to my shoulders but i’m considering a pixie because long hair (even just shoulder length hair) is so annoying at times and can be very hot and i hate that feeling so much

Miss Paws: Im 26, had long hair my whole life, and for the longest time I wanted to get a pixie . AND I DID. A month ago. Zero regrets. I had same insecurities, because im chubby in face, also watched Brad Mondo's video to decide which face shape I have, but actually I decided to go with one I like the most and it turned out great. And after a month of getting it I figured some changes and twerking it up a bit. Honestly, its a hole new world, because I always just tied my hair in pony tail, and didn't do much with it, but now I actually have more inspiration and more energy to try all kinds of fun stuff with it. It opened up my face, made it look thinner, and I feel a whole bunch more confident. If you are strugling with yourself and worrying too much, just do it! And in the end, if you don't like it, it will grow back! But for me, honestly, it was one of best decisions in my life (in aspect of looks)

Lord Farquaad: I just gave myself a pixie cut and the back feels SO uneven but * I * feel amazing Its so fun!!! And dries sooooo quickly, I’ve missed having short hair so much ☺️

Laveena Gupta: Didn't expect "society being short hair is for boys" coming from a foreigner. I thought that it's mostly here in India. I got mine in feb. Did it myself and loved it. You are so sweet

PanaQ: I'm going to the hair salon tomorrow before my grad pics, and I'm really tossed up about if I want a pixie or not! I've been dreaming of it for years but it's still so scary to take the leap. This video was helpful thank you!!

Ivy Acosta: I have a wavy and frizzy hair, but I still want to have a pixie cut after our grad pic! Hope it will turn out good, thank u for this vid! ❤

Ashtyn Bullert: It’s 29 more days until I chop off 28 inches of my hair into a pixie cut, and after watching this I am even more excited!! (I’ll be donating my hair as well)

seoustial: i should've watched this video before getting a pixie cut but I'm still SOOO in love with my hair rn LMAO. yknow, as a woman, long hair is often associated with feminity and I initially went through the thought process: "nobody will find me attractive with short hair" "no one will have a crush on me". i was also very worried about my round face but in the end, i did it. and i feel more confident than ever. i went from wanting to smash every mirror in the house to falling in love with myself every time i see my reflection. it was SO worth it and i don't want to impress anyone else. I'm content with my hair, and that's enough. :)

Shan Bellweather: finally got my pixie yesterday and damn it felt good. do what makes you happy guys it really makes you twice as happy

Basket Case: I used to think I looked terrible with a pixie cut, but after I had my baby I tried the pixie cut again and now I LOVE how I look. And I get so many compliments. I cut it because I was sick of brushing it out of my face when I was busy caring for my baby.

a: Cutting my hair soon. I’ve wanted this for two years now and every time I even think about it I get so excited so I’m just gonna go for it

Vanessa Carroll-Zuluaga: Just wanted to say THANK YOU! I just got my pixie (looks a lot like your first pixie cut) and wow I feel great! Girls, we have to stop thinking about pleasing others and do what makes us feel great! So liberating honestly. :)

roselle gabuya: You look great :) I got my first pixie cut since 2015 and it's life changing. I even got an undercut and hair color last year. I'll have another pixie cut tomorrow :D

bae j why: getting a pixie in literally a half hour i am so nervous and here to hype myself up eeeeeeeeeeee edit: I DID IT AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH OMG if you're contemplating getting one, GO FOR IT!

Adriana Uyene: I got a pixie cut 4-5 months ago and I'm in love with it! Although I miss my long hair (wasn't even thaaat long), having a pixie cut it just blew off my mind. I can feel my hair healthier, brighter, stronger than before. Fixing in the mornings is a real struggle because my hair is thick and with a lot of volume but I definitely recommend it. Regardless what other people would say, do it! You will feel the relief later❤️

Karissa Bekkering: Jamie is the only one that’s keeping me going until my hair appointment on Saturday! I really hope my pixie cut looks good, my mullet was cute but I’m ready for something shorter!

Hannah Jewell: I have been contemplating getting a pixie cut for months now and tonight, after watching this video, I gathered the courage to give myself one and I am so happy and feel so confident with it!! Thank you for this video :')

BeaBea 1776: This is exactly what I needed to hear. I’m making this leap, knowing that every time I’ve cut my hair shorter than before it’s made me happier :)

Eva 1234: I finally realised, after 21 years of my life and a whole pandemic, that I‘m living for myself and not for others. I didn‘t want to live the cliché that „women have to have beautiful long hair“ anymore, I didn‘t want to „please men“ by having long hair anymore, and I didn‘t want to hear anymore that „short hair will make me look like a boy“. So I just got the pixie. And I almost never style it, I just let it fuzz around and I LOVE it. I am a person that doesn‘t like to spend time on hair care and just does a lot of things where long hair gets in the way, so the pixie cut was just the most practical thing to do. And if I want to style it, i can always do a elegant sleek look, or do some curls or something, I always find something that suits the outfit. And she is right though, my pixie also made my face slimmer!

Cool Beans: Thank you so much for this! I've done a pixie cut just this feb, about as short as yours. Now that it's reaching the nape of my neck, i plan to go all the way until it looks similar to an actual boy cut. I also have a round face! I have wavy hair and i actually love how it looks long, and i've had people compliment it. But i was never one to just let it be, i always tied it up or clamped it because honestly, it's just impractical for me, especially when im almost always on the go. This really boosted my urge to have it shorter! thank you!

Leah: For me personally, I've been wanting to do it for 4 years and I've reached a point where I feel like i'd regret not getting a pixie cut more than i'd regret getting one. Yea I may hate it at first, I hate my hair for a couple of days whenever I cut it. Then I wash it, get used to it and it's fine. It will grow back very fast and although it's kind of terrifying, it's just hair. I want to be able to look back on my life and be like "wow i remember I really wanted to cut all my hair off when I was a teenager and I DID IT" i don't want to be an old woman who never did it and is sad I just stayed in my comfort zone. So if you want to do it, do it. It'll grow back if you hate it. You'll never know how you'll feel about it if you don't try.

Maddy: I got mine because of my love for Jean Seberg and Audrey Hepburn. With longer hair I did a lot of complicated vintage hairstyles and it was just too high maintenance. Now I feel so much lighter and the maintenance matches my lifestyle much better. And I still have a cute 1950s look :)

bjorn: I’ve been wanting to cut my hair short for almost a year and lately it’s been a really big want. My hair makes me dysphoric, and it’s a lot to manage for something I don’t care for. This video makes me feel like I’ll actually do it this time, as I’ve thought this through before but chickened out, but this video makes me want to actually just do it. I don’t think I’ll regret it. Hopefully I can do it soon or at least find a hairstyle that I like:))

Melyia: I cut my hear a month or two ago and I watched this just before taking the final step of taking the appointment at the hairdresser, and it reassured me a lot. Now I have my haircut, I LOVE it so thank you

Vanessa: I love it so much how you say any face shapes will rock a pixie cut and don't worry about chubby cheeks. THANKS SO MUCH AAAAAAAAAA <3

•Sweet Tea•: closeted enby here! just got my haircut and have already had 3 mental breakdowns over my hair and this really helped!

Ngoc: Thank you so much for the advice. I was planning to get a pixie cut in the future, been scared that I might get judge for cutting my hair short. But then I watch this video, it make me feel better about myself thanks a lot :)

Mr. Byob: Omg girl you helped me. I wanna get a pixie cut and I wasn't sure how'd I look because of my face shape and my skin tone. BUT you boosted me like I'm ready now. lol thank you (Also I love your outro) :D

Catherine: Here is why I got my pixie:) so I never felt pretty with my hair long and down. So I wore it up literally almost everyday for 7 years. I wasn’t happy with my hair, never was. Something just wasn’t right. When I got to my junior year of high school, I started looking up pixie cuts. Actresses that had them like Emma Watson, and Anne Hathaway. I wanted it, but knew I wouldn’t have the courage to during high school. So about 8 months after I graduated I was so tired of my hair. I told my friend I wanted it cut and she said let’s go right away. So I did and I kept second guessing myself the whole way there, but my friend told me I could do it and reassured me of everything. I have always cared so much what others thought so I was terrified of what people would think of me if I cut it so short. But here I am over a year later still with a pixie and I would never go back. I actually feel pretty and I do not care what anyone thinks about it. It’s my choice and no one can tell me how to have my hair. So if there’s anyone that is scared to get one... you’re not alone. But I promise you... you most likely won’t regret it:)

Mikaella Redira: The impact of confidence you gave me is so strong! Thank you so so much!!

rubix-qt: This was very helpful and exactly what I was looking for! I'm planning on getting a pixie cut soon and I now I feel a lot more confident ^w^

Míra Tornyai: I hate my hair when it’s long ( I call it long if it reaches my shoulders XD) and my hairstyle was always a bob, only because I felt so unsure about pixie, which I always wanted, but never had the courage to try. Finally I decided to get a pixie haircut tomorrow. You helped my a lot, thanks!❤️ (Sorry for my bad English)

Toni: I can't wait to see if it fits my face! (Have an appointment with a pro in a week) I've never gone shorter than halfway down my neck, majority of my life my hair has been at least half way down my back but the past 4 years I've cut it twice halfway down my neck (mostly because I like putting it up but it's also hella heavy). I love all the tips you give in this and you look cute af.

Lonely•Bee: I’ve wanted my hair cut into a pixie cut for so long (to like ear height) and I’m finally getting it after months of waiting in lockdown. Can’t wait for Friday

idgfga: I happened to watch this video when I was super down and boom! This gave me a lot of courage to plan on having my pixie cut, again. Planning and preparing myself to a new feeling for one year + your vid of encouragement = total worth it!!!! I love it i love itt. I got my haircut yesterdayyyy! It's kind of a dream that I don't have this long hair I'm flipping away I'm planning to try different haircuts soon. Yayyy thank u! ✨

triangleshapedheart: Thanks for this video. I've wanted short hair for a very long time, but my friends and partner have always told me my face is too fat/round for it. You have given me courage - thank you!

roisepot: This video was so helpful, I have gotten a pixie in the past and I LOVED IT but, after it started to grow back I was having regrets for some reason even though I loved it so much when it was short. I watched that video not that long ago on the different types of face shapes by Brad Mondo and I could not figure our my face shape and that made me worried that it won't look good and I also just got glasses a few days ago. But this video has really encouraged me thank you! (sorry this is long)

Joana Guerreiro Kappel: I'm getting my pixie tomorrow and I'm so nervous, but also so excited because I had it done before and it was bomb ❤️ thx for the amazing video

Glen Coco: I honestly don't really know if a pixie cut is the right kind of haircut for my face shape but I feel way more comfortable in short hair. I went from really long to a pixie cut today after seeing this video and I've felt so cute the whole day ahhh <3

bbydenki: I just got mine today, the confidence boost it gives you is through the roof✨ don't think about whether to do it or not, JUST DO IT X

chuuwie: I donate my hair a lot and I've always wanted really short hair but I was never allowed, I am now allowed to get a pixie in 2 weeks and I am so excited! I really dislike long hair and it's a lot to handle, all hair is, but atleast I won't have to learn how to tie my hair! Thank you for this video! It has definitely made me feel more sure about this!

_ feli: This really helped me! I’m getting my cut in a week and now I’m more comfortable with my decision ☺️ also you are so nice and I love your personality

Toxic Goblinnn: I’m really thankful for this video I have a very bad case of fried hair because I bleached mine too much and just wasn’t careful with it. There is no saving it, it needs to go and it makes me a little anxious. But your video made me look forward to my soon to be pixie cut! Love you, keep on rocking

CyberWarezz05: "People associate short hair with a masculine look" The thing is, I know girls with waist length hair that look masculine. So no, in some cases, longer hair doesn't make you look more feminine.I think this is more about face shape and features, along with body type.

Kailey B. Langley: You are so sweet and explain things so carefully! Thank you for this ♥️

The Hierophant: Hell yeah, I'm gonna do it. Going through a lot of changes right now, and I wanna change up my hair!!! They're good changes, and I wanna do this!!!

Hannah Rose Reviews: First of all, I freaking love your accent. Secondly though, I got my first pixie cut when I was 16. I'm currently 27 and have had different types of pixie cuts for 11 years. I will never go back. Currently, I have a full-on undercut where my top is about 6 inches long and the sides/back is about 1 inch long. And that's only because I want enough length to go back to a traditional pixie cut!!! I LOVE THEM!!!

vylad: I'm getting my pixie cut tomorrow and im scared but also excited! And I'm getting it cause in the past few years i have not been happy with my long hair like it always felt dead and i couldn't do any cool hairstyles cause it was so hard to manage but im hoping that it'll all go well tomorrow and it's just hair!! It'll grow back so yeah! (also i may or may not be having a gender crisis oopsie) Edit: I DID IT AND I LOVE IT SO MUCHHHHHHHH

VallieMC C: I had really long hair all my life, and January of this year I chopped off my butt length hair to my shoulders and it was the best decision ever :D In April I trimmed it to about chin/jaw length and now it's grown back to my shoulders I'm sooooo tempted to get a pixie cut, but I'll wait and see how I feel about it for a while :)

Anonymous Support: The reason I’m cutting my hair short is because I’m nonbinary. What you said under Advice #3 makes me even more excited!

Wendy James: You look great I went from a Bob to a longish pixie cut and it has grown so quickly that I now want a shorter pixie cut. Thanks for the encouragement Love from Australia

Kiee R.: hii jamie! its bee a year since i cut my hair and i feel very low because i don't see much women here in PH encouraging me of my decision. your videos help me navigate thru these emotions of chopping my hair off (seeing the comment sections literally made me smiile cuz i know im not alone) p.s you look so gorgeous and confident too! i love these tips might stay with this style for a couple while

Falcon O'Reilly: I just got my pixie cut and I love it!!! My mom did it and I am really proud of her since it was her first time doing it and she did a really good job. I mainly wanted to get a pixie cut because it would be easier to deal with involving jrotc (I am a cadet in Sea Cadets and MCJROTC at my high school). I kept saying to myself that I am living my bisexual dreams by having this pixie cut. I also look like a politician or a coconut tho

unnie_ vers27: I got the pixie cut and that's the best haircut ever. Never regret✌

Nik W: I've had a pixie hair for years now, can't remember the exact year but it was the best decision ever. I have a pixie cut but also shaved sides. I don't care if i look like a boy or not. People can tell I am a girl. Pixie really suits you. My hair is too thin and flat. I love volume. It's so much easier to look after. So easy to style it. I recommend it to everyone.

Sophia Beatriz: *me casually watching the vid* jamie: "dont cut your hair out of impulse !!!" aight thanks for the reminder

KC: Yooo thank you for the tip on throwing the hair up and flipping the pony tail to see what you'll look like. I'm finally going to chop mine off this year and get my first pixie. 30 years of long hair...can't wait...!!

Sav3dbyGrace: I got my first pixie yesterday and I am so in love with it. Mine is asymmetrical. I had an undercut done all of the way around and you can see the undercut on the left side but my right side, at its longest reaches my jaw. My main concern (reason I came here) is styling it after I wash it.

Alexis Mcbain: I loved watching this. I got my first pixie cut like 4 years ago and my family wasn't super happy about it because of it being to "masculine" so I've grown it out to just below my shoulders however I remember the relief and the happiness I felt having short hair so I'm ready to do it again and I'm going the chop once again this Wednesday!

Van Nessa: Glad I clicked on this vid. I am actually a plus sized girl and I have been contemplating for weeks if I shoud get a pixie cut. Still would think about it though until the end of this month but your words gave me a bit of a push. Hehe. Thank you! ❤❤❤

Moxie's Gone Mad: Thanks Jaime! I feel like I was getting advice from an encouraging friend ♥️

Josie E: I got my pixie two weeks ago and I absolutely love it!

Lylíca: Desde 2016 eu tento cortar meu cabelo pixie.

Madison Ridenour: I’m getting a pixie cut because I have a auto immune disorder and with as many surgeries as I’ve had and the medicine I’m on I lose so much hair and when I’m hooked up to the machines it gets in the way and gets pulled on, I’m just ready to get my confidence back and be happy with myself and if cutting my hair is the way then so be it!

Rumeysa Rumeysa: My hair is curly and here and there wavyish-curlish ( I don't know how to describe that properly). I got a long pixie cut yesterday. I was really nervous during the cutting and really hoped that it wouldn't turn out weird. It turned out really pretty. Having shorter hair is soo relaxing and styling was actually very very easy and fast. It's the best hair cut i ever got. No more neck pain in summer ever again ☺️ Thanks again for your advices

Azra Kahraman: I got mine in last end of the october. I was suuuuuper happy about it I was checking my hair every 5 minutes and loved the hair I got. I felt much prettier after getting it. Tho now its reaching my shoulders when I straighten it I am planning to get it again. I also got my hair cut because my hair was so damaged. My hair is so healthy and shiny now. I think before getting it you should first think positive about it, imagine yourself carrying that hell of a hair style, walking confident and not caring what anyone thinks. I am sure you will rock it

Allie Burns: I used to have a pixie cut as a kid and I remember it drying so quickly. It was just so easy to take care of it and don’t get me wrong I love my long hair but now, my hair is very damaged. 7 years worth of damage and buildup. Only thing I’m worried about is my shape. I’ve tried watching that video and I’m still very confused so my stylist is gonna help me pick a style when I get to my appointment ❤️

Olivia Nunley: I had a pixie cut early in high school. I loved it, but I was very insecure about my gender expression because I have an androgynous, sometimes masculine, style, so people were often confused about my gender. I let it grow out because I was too lazy to get it cut. Now, I'm heavily considering getting a pixie cut again because of medical issues. Long story short, my disability currently makes it so that my hair needs way more maintenance than it should be (I don't mind elaborating, just figured I'd trim it down). It gets incredibly tangled without me even leaving the house. Putting it up in a ponytail does nothing. I think that a pixie cut will solve my current hair problem until, hopefully, my medical issues can be reduced. Honestly, I'm just trying to figure out the right style at this point. If I can find the right style (low maintenance and won't be in my face constantly, but suited for thick, wavy hair), I am almost certain I'll do it. Wish me luck.

Rosie's Makeup Adventures: Thanks for this video! I got a pixie cut a week ago and absolutely love it, but I was starting to get comments about looking like a boy. You spoke to my situation. Loving this new confidence!

Neelam Rajamanickam: I just cut my hair yesterday and tbh I think I made the best decision ever in my life ..

arya s: gurl i love you so much for this video, just got a pixie cut and tbh im a lil bit insecure because i used to have a very long hair. But this video really motivates me to be more confident and most importantly… self love!!

debby veronika edison: I'm here because I'm planning on getting a very short hair cut. The reason is simply because I wanted to explore more style. But I am highly concern tho because I have thin and fine hair, I'm afraid it would end up looking kinda bald.

sela: thank you so much for making this video, and adding encouraging words a the end❤❤i felt discouraged because my my strongly said i'll regret it. i just really needed someone who got the cut ti encourage me and get on with it!

Miscellaneous Cell: I'm 33 and I've had a pixie cut 2 times. The first time I loved it. The stylist was experienced and used razors. The second time it was strange. I've been grown my hair for about 5 years and want to shave it myself lol.

Connie: Thank you for tip 7!!! I did this and I look BOMB! I think I'll go for it. I've worn my hair super long and bob but I've never worn a pixie cut.

Arianas Thoughts: I'm tired of sleeping on my hair having to braid every night. Accidentally someone pulling my hair it getting caught in something. It feels heavy. when I have it shoulder length it feels nice an light but only for a little bit because then it grows long and the cycle starts again. So I'm here for the chop

Tanya Gonzalez: I'm mostly wanting to do it because I find that I style my hair up often. Like I want it out of my face. I never had it this short before, though. I kinda want hair similar to Dolores O' Riordan. But I think it'll be fun to grow out too. :3

E x o t i c _ V a n n y: You inspired me to get a pixie cut, and it was the best decision I think I’ve ever made.

Lucia Alegria: Knowing that your hair was also super poofy and curly just like mine, it made my confidence go way up to get a pixie!! The pic looks exactly like my hair right now

joonsrightleg: I'm in my early teen years, and next summer in September 2021 I'm starting a new school and moving country's, so I've been thinking of cutting my hair of summer 2021. Should I?

Isabell Smith: Thanks for the advice this video was such an encouragement ❤️❤️

Iwan Fanda tulandi: I really love my pixie short hair now ...make me feel awesome

Kia Like the Car: heyyy you're so fun to listen to! Amazing talk! Like I HAD to comment because not many people can get me listening for long (adhd hehe) but you did from start to finish. Basically just GREAT JOB girl so happy to find your channel

Chloe Sawyers-Rees: Love this video your hair is so great by the way, another thing about face shape to remember is that men have all types of face shapes and yet many of them will still have short hair without being made to worry about it!

Aisha 95: I'm going to the salon in a couple days and this is helping me not to overthink so thank you! I'm so nervousssss

BunNessa_ Art: I do think you should do research or look around on the pixie cut you want to get because everyone has different hair and one style of may not look good or right because it's on a straight haired girl. Personally that's what I did a loooong while back and it helps (recently got a shorter pixie again, I have curly thick hair). But yes, I agree you should think about it and love yourself . Definitely do it for the right reasons and because you're ready!

Metzli: 1:36 no joke, that happened to me too! I had straight hair as a kid, then as I started approaching the pre-teen ages the hairs on my fringe started curling, but not the rest! The rest eventually caught up but having only wavy hairs on the fringe was weird AF... It must have been the hormones or something like that xD

Ashli Alexandria: I have a depression and my hair is extremely matted now bc I didn’t brush it every day, I can’t get the Matts out so my only option is going really short or buzzing it off. I love my long hair but I can’t keep up with it. I really feel like I’ll be more relieved if it’s short cause it won’t be as much work.

ro: No puedo creer lo que necesitaba escuchar esto tengo tanto pelo y esponjado que no se que hacer me estaba volviendo loca y solo queria sacar todo ese pelo de mi cabeza, muchas gracias! Your vibe it's so nice!

Emma Nilsson: I have always wanted to try having short hair. My hair is also thick and curly like yours so I'm afraid I will lose those curls if I cut it short. What's keeping me from trying a short haircut is that I do not want to lose my "femininity" since I feel like it's tied with my long hair and it's a whole identity thing? I don't use makeup so I will probably look boyish... but I'm really tired of having to take care of my long hair, it's so much effort! I'm not sure if it's worth it for me, since I feel insecure about losing my feminine side. Just typing out all my feelings here :)

Suso: On the contrary, people used to tell me my hair was beautiful and to never cut it it but as time went by I didn't feel comfortable with it at all, I never hated it it just felt like long hair wasn't me, it felt like I had a wig on 24/7, then realized I was nonbinary and decided to cut it all up. I almost cried from happiness when I looked at myself in the mirror, it's been over a year, still short and I regret NOTHING.

EonBlue: Hi, I know I'm quite late to the video but I had a question lol The thing is, I've wanted a pixie cut for years and finally have the chance to get one, but I'm really insecure about my side profile because of my big nose and small/receding chin. I was just wondering whether I could still look pretty with a pixie cut and a horrid side profile or if a pixie cut would make me feel better about this? Obviously with a short haircut, there will no longer be any hair to cover the side of my face so I don't know if I should get the cut despite really wanting it. Great video by the way, thankyouu! ❤
