Okay, Sookie, I weep there. I think it's there. You know I can never really tell if this thing is focused or if what I'm seeing is just blurry, because my eyesight is complete trash. What'S up y'all welcome back to my channel, I know it's been a minute since I posted anything on my youtube channel life has just taken me by storm. I fell in love, I got my heart broken and I've gotten a new job and I've got promotions and it's just been it's come. It'S been a complete whirlwind, but I just want to say: I hope that everyone is staying safe during this quarantine time and coronavirus. So yeah the state of my hair, I would say, as of now I am probably 80 % natural. My hair has grown out and I have not gotten a relaxer and in for freaking ever and I would post a picture of the last time I got my hair cut, so you can see just how much my hair has grown. I put a heat protectant on it, also moisturize my scalp cuz, your girl, gosh, I go so far down. This is how we rockin look, engage and see just how big this is to me. I'Ve had smaller flat irons than this honestly, but my hair has grown out. So this will do. Let me position this camera, so I can show you how I did it better right now. I am Loki blind. Af life has been absolutely psycho on by half my behalf, I mean so many things have changed. I think that majority of everyone can agree that 2020s in the craziest year and we're not even halfway through it like we Loki from a just started, so um yeah but ciao your girl has been going through, like I'm bitching heartbreak. That was crazy. I'Ve really just been focusing on myself, I haven't even really been dating, like designer type is like I want to heal. You know to me a lot of people once they get out of a relationship. They'Ll hop right into another one, and it's like. Are you feeling or are you just distracted, and you know what I'm saying something that just distracts you from the hurt from all the things that you're feeling and then you never really work on it? So for me I was like hmm, you know I want to be ready for my next man, because I want my next man to be my last name. You know I'm saying so, but I wan na be completely ready. I don't want to have any emotional baggage. I don't wan na have any past trauma like I want to be whole. So when I meet him I can be prepared. So I hope that my future man is out there doing the same thing. I was in a relationship for three and a half years, so hopping into the dating game has been a complete challenge. These doses crazy, like they want to skip the getting-to-know-you part, and they just want to skip right to like chillin with you. You know like what do they happen to call the people? First, hmm. No. I just want to link everybody here, link with me. I can't give people that much access, it's a mean, I always say like I'm, single, with purpose single on purpose, because I have a purpose there we go for those who don't know. I go to Georgetown University, I'm getting my masters in journalism. I just recently got our promotion, so that's been sweet, like I kind of really don't have anything to complain about, but you know life happens and one thing that I've learned is that when things happen, that kind of throw you off, especially things that happen unexpected Tinky, Take notice and really try to figure out what you can learn from that situation instead of asking yourself. Oh my gosh like why me life has been treating me so bad, and I know I just said, like it's been crazy, but life has been crazy. Cuz life is like, like life's gon na happen. That'S been the outlook that I've been keeping and honestly that's, what's really been helping me get by. I people would have folded in my situation. I generally have a positive outlook on life and that's just because through experience, I know that God has my back so when things start seeming like what the heck is going on. Oh my god, what you doing! Alright, God! You know what I'm saying like. Let me go ahead and get ready for whatever you got prepared for me. Cuz, obviously just ain't it, so I don't even sweat it no more. To be frank, I'm just like okay. So what do I need to do to get to that next level? Um? So enough about personal life, forty, I ain't come here for that so for a hair, um, so yeah. So last time y'all saw me my hair was much shorter than this on a on a YouTube video. So I went through stages where I was like. I want to grab my hair uh. I hate the in-between stage, so I'm gon na cut it again. I'M gon na grow it out for the summer, so I can get braids and after the brazen, like my hair's gone so much, I can just let it grow. But then it's this awkward grainy stage y'all know what it is. When you're growing out your pixie and you just be looking like a grandma um, that's the stage I was in so I could never get past that grainy stage, but now that I'm in quarantine now that the hairdresser's are cloves, it's kind of like forest on my Alright well looks like it to go through these ugly stages at home, but we can try, make it cute so beef right. The back is what irks me, because anybody who's had a pixie they're growing out they're growing out their pixie. It'S like you're juicing, your bag of being sleek being not sticking out from your neck, and all of that I am flat ironing my here at an angle because I don't want the curls to be tight this time I want like a nice little fluffy, but you Know don't bend the end, you know how it wasn't. You asked your mom to slide on your hair and if she bends your ends and you're. Looking like oh yeah after this, that's why I got to do it at an angle. So you'll have volume. You'Ll have a little bit of Bend, but not like it's more like a so please tell me how y'all have been in the comments now. Don'T ask me for relationship advice, cuz. Obviously I don't know what I'm doing on ones, but I'm working on it. Actually, I could probably give a little bit of a relationship advice honestly. Just so y'all can live vicariously through me and not make the same mistakes that I have made now as far as career. I would say I'm in a place where I love what I do, but you know I just know that I'm destined to do so much more and that's honestly what keeps me from being too too comfortable and that's really like a blessing and a curse, because when You'Re always looking forward to the future. Sometimes you forget to be present and be appreciative of your current. I'Ve been trying to find a very healthy balance with doing that, and keeping that in mind whenever I get a little antsy, I feel a link there in a minute, but no just been flowing and trusting God and what he has for me. I'M in a very transitional phase in my life right now, I'm in grad school I'm actually like halfway done with grad school. If you want me to post a video on my grad school experience and how I was applying for schools and how I got denied from the one school, I really wanted to go to the first time I applied I'll. Let you know that's a whole different story but, like I said just it's been crazy and in very good ways very good ways and I've just been learning so much about myself. You know I turned 27 this year. I know I don't look my age, I'm 26 buckets are 27 y'all, probably gon na skip past this whole part of me, rapping on what cuz my mouth is dry. That'S how I know I've been talking a lot, but I just want to give y'all an update on what's been going on in my life. Let me know if y'all want to know anything in particular about me so going around the ear part you just want to be as careful as you can, as it will allow you to be. That'S why it's important to have the small iron cuz. The last thing you want to do is burn yourself. Don'T play yourself right, I'm trying to do things with the big iron go ahead and get you some small arms. How y'all say iron, I don't earn it with small earn. My own, my family's from the country, even though we live in the city from the DC metropolitan area, for those who don't know now, I'm making this long, video and I'm gon na feel like that's the thing for everybody. Who'S ever tried to make a YouTube. It'S like you can so excited about the filming process, but that editing process whoa I'll knock you off your feet, knocking off your feet like do I'd, probably wanna post this video I got ta sit down and edit it. I was rapping and I look crazy. Do I sound like this is me when I'm making videos literally I'm like I was rapping. Do I really sound like that? Crazy? You? The back is regulars. Megillah scared, this hair on my back. The back is regular pay up, so I sometimes I wear it in my face like this a little alia other times did you know? Sometimes we wear your hair in your face. Begin forehead Agni. If I wear, does people come from cuz, I got it's breezy hair in my face, so most of the time I find myself wearing it more so like this real full real puffy like then I pull out this little side cuz. I do like that I'll make sure that's right there, but yeah that's it. So I hope that you've enjoyed this video.
