Hey friends welcome back today, I wanted to share with you my favorite hair tools for my pixie hair. I'Ve had a pixie for over a year now. So at this point I have a good routine down and I know what tools work for me. So I wanted to share them with you, a quick disclaimer before we get started a few of these items. I'Ve had for many years from before I went cruelty free, but since I only share cruelty free brands on this channel, when I link them down below, I will be sure to link cruelty, free alternatives to these products, so getting right into the first step. So straight out of the shower, I put this in my hair. It'S one of those hair wraps, I'm sure you've seen them or even owned them, but I really like this one, because it is so so soft. I got it from the petty war website, which is my favorite place to buy anything beauty related, it's from the brand hubba loo and it's 100 % rayon from bamboo. It is so soft. Also, I love the color, but it's just so soft and gentle on your hair and helps it dry faster and since I don't have much hair, this holds it up totally fine. I feel like it. Maybe if you had really long long hair, it might not, but with short hair or you know, medium length hair. I think this would be totally fine and it is just really really soft and doesn't tug and doesn't pull out any hairs. You know if you use a normal towel that might happen, but it doesn't happen with this and I love it. It'S just it's so soft and great so, like I said straight out of the shower, I put my hair in the wrap and then I do my skincare routine lotion, my body, all that good stuff. So, by the time I take my hair wrap out, quite a bit of moisture has been absorbed into the towel, so my hair is on the damp side and that's the one I like to style my hair, because it shortens the amount of time I have to Use my blow dryer, which I like to think, lessens the heat damage I don't know, but then I go in with my wet brush at first. I thought this was a total gimmick and just another reason to buy a hair brush and it wouldn't actually do make much of a difference. But I love it. I got turned on to this by my sister because she has very fine hair and it's really delicate and tangles easily, and it's long so she loves that loves this and I thought if it were for her, it must work for me. So I got it and I absolutely love it. It just glides straight through your hair, no tangles, it's awesome and it's a cruelty-free brand, which is great and yeah. It'S awesome. I like it. I think, no matter what your hair type or length is. I think this would work for you. I also wanted to mention that I like having a small comb with a pic at the end. I don't know where mine went so I'll insert a photo here of what I'm talking about now, of course, link it down below, but I like one of those for either parting, my hair, or especially when my pixie was a bit shorter, that came in handy okay. So now into my favorite tool, it's a new thing that I've only talked about briefly during a tutorial, and it is my new hair dryer I previous to this. I had a hair dryer that was like 20 bucks. I had it. I think I bought it when I was going into my freshman year of college and I started college in 2011, so it's been going a while and it finally died on me just a couple months ago and for a couple days. While I waited for this to come into the pant, I come in the mail, I was just letting my hair air dry, which was interesting, but I got this because my mom had it and pre and she got it because my other sister had it so anyways. It is a hair dryer, it is from the brand baby bliss Pro and then is the ceramics extreme. I have the attached nozzle to it, but I'm not gon na detach it. I only ever use the concentration nozzle. If you look, if you watch my tutorials you'll know this, and I just do it because I'm looking for a smooth look, and this really really helps with that, because it concentrates it and when I use my round brush it works great. I never realized how much difference just paying a little bit extra for a hair dryer makes. Like I said, my old hair dryer was like 20 bucks, and I got this one because I had a lot of settings and it has a good cold blaster and of course, I tried out my mom's and I loved it. It also is ceramic which, from what I understand, it helps distribute the heat more evenly, which helps cut down on any damage from the hairdryer, and I was looking at other hair dryers, which were like $ 200, because I blow-dry my hair everyday. I thought you know what. Maybe, if I get a really nice quality, hairdryer it'll make a good difference for me and in other words I was considering spending almost $ 200 on a hairdryer. But then I decided to get this one and I'm so glad I did because it was $ 70 on Amazon, which i think is a great price point, because you get that good quality without having to pay an arm and a leg. I will say it's a little bit heavy, but for me I'm only blow-drying my hair for about five minutes. It doesn't make much of a difference, but that's pretty much. The only downside I can think of when it comes to this hair dryer. I love it and, from now on, I'm just gon na be singing its praises because it is awesome, it has a low and high and cool warm and hot. I really like that. It has the warm or the hot I feel like most hair dryers have one or the other yeah. I just love it, of course, I'll be link down below I and you can get it on Amazon Prime two day shipping. Can you beat it? I don't think so so, with my hair dryer, I use a round brush. You'Ll see this in all my tutorials. I'Ve owned this one for so so long. It'S not a cruelty free brand, but um it works fine. So I'm just gon na keep using it. I'Ll, of course, have cruelty, free ones, link down below it's a little bit, thicker, I'm not exactly sure of the width, but it's a little bit thicker, because these pieces of my hair are kind of long. I don't round brush the sides. I just use my fingers and then I what I round brush look at the top portion. If your hair is shorter, I would recommend going down in the diameter of your round brush just so that you can really get into the roots. Sometimes I feel like when I first got my hair cut and it's a bit shorter. This is too long, but it doesn't make much of a difference. Sometimes I just even take my wet brush and I'd kind of go like this and blow-dry it like that or the other way around. I just kind of make do with what I have for now, maybe one day I'll get a smaller round brush, but yeah. Definitely a round brush if you're, trying to smooth out your hair and to kind of get the swoopy front going on and, lastly, is a tool. That is definitely not a necessity, but I figured I would throw it in here and it is a mini straightener. It'S only about one inch wide, maybe even less than an inch about it measuring, but it is so cute and it's great for obviously short hair. I'Ve had this for quite a while, because I had even a bob before so I'll be sure to link a cruelty. Free one down below I know, baby bliss makes one and it's on Amazon, so I'll link that one - and this is just fun because you can curl your hair with a straightener if you kind of bend it so sometimes on second day hair, I throw some whoa. The lighting just changed. I apologize the Sun, I think just went behind a cloud, so I apologize for that. Drastic lighting change, that's what I get for filming at 4 p.m. but anyways. I really like the straightener, because you can curl your hair with it, throw some dry shampoo in it on 2nd with second day hair, and it's great just kind of go for that tousled. Look! If you want to see a tutorial on that, let me know but yeah. This is just a fun addition. If you are looking to try something new, so those are all the tools that I use on a regular basis. I really hope this video helped you and leave a comment down below with any future video requests or just say hi. I love reading your comments and responding so yeah. That'S pretty much it. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you have an awesome day. Bye
