Quick & Easy Hair Tutorial For Pixie Hair!
The title of this video may be a little deceiving because although this works great for short pixie length hair, people with medium and long length hair can also rock this look! So basically this hair tutorial is FOR EVERYONE not just pixies :)

Hey guys, it's Jackie, and today, I'm here with a super requested hair tutorial, which is this little braid that I have been wearing a lot recently if you've been watching my daily vlogs. This is kind of in my go-to hairstyle, so I've been wearing it a lot. I'Ve got a lot of requests so here I am to finally do the hair tutorial for you guys. So it's super easy to do, and what I like most is that it's not an actual French braid, which a lot of people think it is when they look at it real quickly. They'Re like oh, I, like your little French braid that you did it's not it's. Actually, just a twist, so if you don't know how to French braid, this is a perfect tutorial for you to start with before you learn how to actually French braid like this is the easy version of the French braid. You know so I hope you guys enjoy and let's go ahead and get started. So what I love most about this hairstyle is that you can do your braid and then have your hair styled like really neatly, and then you get this really nice polished, look or you can just wake up in the morning when your hair is a little scruffy And messy do the braid and then you have this really cute messy bohemian look. So first you want to just grab a chunk of hair right by your part, so here's my part and then just grab a chunk of hair doesn't have to be perfect and we're gon na split that into two ok, so see how we have two separate pieces. Just like that, so now what we're gon na do is twist the front. One is gon na go back, so I'm gon na twist. It just once just like that, and now I'm gon na take some hair and add it to each side we're gon na twist. It again just one time and then add more hair and the chunks of hair that you add to the strands. They don't have to be exact or perfect, just want to add some hair, so just keep grabbing and keep twisting so the more often you do this hairstyle the easier it gets, and then you won't even have to look in a mirror when you do this. So once you get to the end twist, it again and then just hold it down and grab your bobby pins and we're gon na make an X with the bobby pins just to make sure that they stay in place. So that's pretty much it to get. This look super easy to do. I'Ve been loving this hairstyle so much, and sometimes when my hair is a little poofy on the sides makes me look like. I have a really bad bowl cut, which I kind of do but um when I have days like that, all I do is I do the braid on this side and then, with this guy I just take some hair and twist it back. I'M not actually doing the little twist. We did here, I'm just doing one twist and then take bobby pins and secure this guy down to kind of like that. So then my hair is like all out of my face and it's flat - and I like doing this when I go to the gym, so no none of my hair is like getting in my way, you'd be surprised with a pixie. I still have problems with my hair, getting in my way, you wouldn't you'd think I wouldn't have that problem anymore, but I actually do so. That'S it for today's video. I think this is a great way to start, because it's not actually French braiding but you're still getting the same idea by grabbing hair and twisting it so try. This look out before you.
