Thats It!...I'M Relaxing My Hair | Pixie Cut Hair Product Haul (2021)

I hope you all are well! I'm back with a hair update: I'm going back to Relaxed! I'm dying for a pixie cut this summer and wanted a straight lil pixie cut for relaxed hair. I'm super excited and made a decent-sized pixie hair product haul along with some beauty items.

Are you shocked or did you see this coming? I have a few videos pre-filmed that I may still put out with my natural hair so don't be surprised if you see those but I hope you continue to stick around for the change and my ever-evolving hair journey!

Hey everyone colleen here back with another video and i have a bit of a hair update and a beauty supply store haul, so keep watching. So if you watched this video or right here, you'll know that um i never wanted to actually go natural and i actually wanted to do a pixie cut. Now that i found out that my hair shedding was not due to me needing to stop relaxing i'm going back to relaxers, because i'm really over at natural hair, i am um. I tried to embrace it as much as i could, and i just feel like i'm in that phase of life, where it's not for me. At this stage of life, i went to the beauty, supply store and to target to prepare for my relaxed hair pixie cut life. So, let's get into the haul, i'm just going to start with target. I picked up a few things. I picked up a bottle of aussie moist 3 minute miracle moist, deep conditioner and the matching shampoo. I remember liking this when i used it, it has good silicones in it for protection, because i will be using heat with short hair. I don't even bother with like regular conditioner, just get the big deep, conditioner use that to be fine full of moisture, so that's from target. I also picked up this nexus carafix deep conditioner pack. This is a treatment mask. This was recommended by janae of hilo lux. She has the cutest pixie and she swears by this. She said: if anything i get this, so i listened and i picked up a little packet of that it seems like it has really great ingredients. Keratin protein and black rice sounds good, just random. I picked up these magnetic lashes. The style was so pretty they're like really kind of fluttery, and i love magnetic lashes. I don't really like the traditional ones with the glue these. You can just put a little bit of eyeliner slap them on. Take them off. I'M never worried about the corners lifting. I love magnetic lashes and i thought this would be pretty for an upcoming wedding, i'm going to attend. So that's all target the majority of the stuff i got from the beauty supply store, so i picked up. Where should i start, i picked up some moose. I picked up this lotta body mousse. I heard a lot of good things about it. Um roxy bennett uses this a lot for her pixie cuts. So i picked up that and then i picked up also the nairobi which everyone swears by. Let me know down below if you've tried either of these and which one you love more, is it the lot of body or nairobi who's hitting harder? I picked up a deep conditioner. I can never have enough deep conditioners. This is crissy fellow. This is a dominican product. I'Ve used this many times in the past, and it worked great on my relaxed hair leaves it very soft, very shiny and smells good for almost a week. It'S very strong if you're not into perfumes. That'S not, for you also got this. This is a half inch flat iron by red. This flat iron has a ceramic tourmaline plate. I veer towards ceramic over titanium because i find it um less harsh on the hair strands like i would suggest ceramic for, like kinkier, hair and then um titanium for more straight hair. It'S just a little more forgiving, and this is the half inch because my hair will be shorter. Of course, i won't always be using this i'll, be more so into like the wet molding, but when i have like an occasion i'll bust out the flat iron a little bit and just hit it with some curls, some waves look so pretty, and the thing i Like most about this is that it has adjustable notches, so i could um set the temperature to what i want and it goes up to 450. I usually never ever ever pass 400.. I got some clips, some clamps. You can never have enough of these, and i like that they're bright colored, so i could find them also got a satin wrap for night time picked up this razor comb, so i can trim trim the back and sides. I plan on doing all of this at home. I really don't want to depend on a salon for this cut, i'd like to keep everything as diy as possible, because um, i don't really have time to be running to appointments and my hair grows fast. So i need to be able to learn and do this at home by myself. I have a razor with guards and i have scissors - and i have this razor comb so i'll be doing this at home. Listen if anything i'll just show like it to my head. Nobody will tell the difference random stuff. I picked up this papaya kojic soap. These are for the darker elbows and kneecaps. It'S springtime and you know you want to get the legs looking right, it's looking lovely, so i just have some darker kneecaps that i want to brighten up and lighten up nair for the same reason: it's spring summer, so yeah i haven't seen a razor in months. So that's her. I also got the sebastian cellophanes. This is an espresso brown. This is another re purchase. I bought this the last time i was relaxed and i really liked it. I had good lasting power compared to a door or clairol's semi-permanent colors, so this is deposit only. I chose espresso brown over black because when i use black, it just looks weird on my complexion, like i'm not meant for black hair, but uh. This really richens it up without the blackness. So i love this. You see how big the bottle is. Do you see the price yeah that price yeah um, but she lasts a long time and even longer on short hair? So that's good, and i just i had to get some hoops because, what's short, hair without hoops she's, nothing, hoops and um studs, look so cute on short hair, but it's summer summer, spring summer is coming. Hoops are gon na look cute with dresses, uh excited. I also got these um. This was like 2.99. This is a dollar ninety-nine gloss. Let me tell you something: this broadway vita lip honey, lip gloss. If you see these in your local beauty, supply store, get them get all of them. They'Re not sticky they're, so shiny, they're, moisturizing, they're, cheap, they smell good and once again, they're, not sticky, they're, not sticky. If you've tried these, let me know because i'm with you like, i just picked it up on a whim. It'S so amazing. It'S excellent and it's so shiny and it's not sticky. Okay, all right as a free gift, because um my locals and beauty supply store is better than yours. It is they gave me some studs like how nice is that, like just free studs is pretty lovely. That'S so nice, that's my haul. Um! Listen! As i said it's a journey. I'M super excited. I can't wait and i will be documenting it all for you. So wish me luck all right! Guys i'll see you in the next video you

caramelcocoa234: Lmao! Today I had a “Thats it I’m dying this b*tvh” moment hahahaha girl I’ve come to the realization that imma do what the Eff I want. Life’s to short to just conform and be unhappy

MT: If you really want a firm set use the concentrated lottabody and use less water than recommended. It holds better than any other setting foam. I pour my solution into my empty lottabody foam bottle .

Hibiscus Tea: I’ve tried both of those foams. I love both of them, actually—Nairobi definitely has a stronger hold. Rod sets last a full week using it vs Lottabody is probably 3 days.

Jesussofly: That's awesome that you know what you want Queen ❤️ I've been natural but, due to that fact that I have thin hair. My hair looks fully when natural. My daughter's hair fell out due to relaxing. I went natural with her as Support. Come to find out I need the NO relaxer life and I'm OKAY with that! CAN'T wait to see you with your pixie cut!

Katherine Miller: You gotta do you boo! I think a pixie cut will look fabulous on you. Can’t wait to see it.

mesidye: My Scorpio ♏️ girl is back .....”my local beauty supply store is better than yours” and you’re right.

Colette Mallory: Enjoy your hair. It’s yours! Can’t wait to watch the process.

DonnishaLatrice: I love both. Nairobi is the best.. I would use that to stretch your relaxers... it’s amazing! The lotta body is good to keep your styles longer.. but either one is great... I’m itching to keep my hair natural but.... this relaxer is calling me

kennedra: Can’t wait to see how it comes out!

Ray97548: GIRLLLL!!! As soon as you picked up that lipgloss I was like YESSSS! It is the business sis!

Beck Perry: I wen natural about 11 years ago. 4 years after that chopped it off. Year after that relaxed because I wanted a pixie cut. Few months later back to natural lol. I had always planned on returning back to natural and have stayed natural but never say never .

NappyHappyDrumMajor: I love your " BUT WE MOVE" attitude!!! Can wait to see her!!

MrsPrissy: Cant wait to see the final result.‍

Cicely Newell: How often do you plan to relax? Do you stretch your relaxers? I'm stretching...every 5 to 6 months..and would love to do a pixie cut but not sure if that would work.

Tiffany Gantt: I got one too girl and I'm in love they def did the thing with urs too

adri: Sis you don't have to explain. Lol! I just relaxed mine today and girl relief. So much relief

Kendra C: Did you ever figure out what caused the shedding? I’m going through post partum shedding right now and it’s horrible

All Things Miss Jackson: Just found your channel. I prefer Nairobi! Excited for your videos! New subscriber!

Jackie1113: Lawdy, I wanna rodset, rollerset or flexirod my natural hair so bad using the Nairobi foam, but don't have the time or patience for it. Smh

1pundyboomer: Girl, do you! Do you plan to have a professional stylist cut your pixie or are you cutting the style yourself?

Liam Smith: I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!! Relax, pixie flex for 2021 (can't wait!) Not shellac honey. DEAD!

BuildABergGroup: Saw this coming. ☺️

Yvonne LaToya: I love Nairobi
