Update: Growing Out Grey Hair- After The Pixie Hair Cut
Here's an update after my daughter cut my hair all off. Well it's actually a pixie cut. I didn't know we were going for that but okay..it's all good!
I love it and wish I had done it sooner! The freedom alone is fantastic!

Hi guys Courtney from girls with coupon, so it's been two weeks since my daughter cut my hair all off. If you saw the video, oh, it was very nervous and now, since I've had some time to UM get used to, it does take a little getting used to that's very true. However, I love it love it love it. I'M going to tell you why! Well, first, let me just backtrack after she cut. I did go over it with some thinning shears. Those are the scissors with the jaggedy teeth on them and what it did is it blended. It really well - and it gave me some of these fantastic little wispies that are super fun. I can just like tousle around and do this and and everything so like that number two number three number, four, nine, five, less shampoo, less time, no more color! I can fix it, put a little styling gel in it and go it's cool in my neck, I'm having hot flashes. For God's sake. I don't need this hassle anymore in this world or any other world. I want to be cool and comfortable and huh. This is so much easier. Oh my gosh! I keep having v-eight moments. You know I could a head of the eight. Why didn't I do it sooner? I don't know but live better late than never, and I don't know if I'm going to grow it out. I'M going to kind of play it out and see what the summer brings and I may go back short again and keep it this short for awhile. I don't know, but that's the thing with being a woman. We can change your minds whenever we want to right. Yeah so um, I didn't want everybody to freak out after that last tape of my hair being cut. So many of my friends were crying like no, not your long hair, and so I wanted. You know everybody to see that I am okay and the hair turned out fine and I'm super happy with it. You know put on some earrings and some makeup and it feels very feminine. Doesn'T I don't feel like a boy at all and no one yet has asked me: are you your son's grandma I've been waiting for that? I don't know how I'm going to react. If that does happen, but we'll see I you know at this point, you know guys, I just don't care, you know, I don't care, I'm having a blast, I'm enjoying my hair and I just wanted to you, know pop back on and let you guys have that Update, let you know how it was and if you're thinking about growing your Gray's out and even cutting it short, I mean think about it. I'M really serious just think about it. It'S awesome, it's very freeing. I love it. So leave some comments. No comparison to your hair when it was dyed - very inspirational. I must say--you are a sassy woman to be able to trust your daughter to cut your hair short with no experience! I am going gray without going blonde with toners, so it is quite the journey! madcrazymom: I am going to let the gray grow out, but I have been dying my hair black now for years so I don't want that ugly skunk stripe and I'm not sure how to get around it. I am not all gray yet; my hairdressers have estimated about 30% so far. I just don't need the hassle of hair color every month. I can't take the pressure, plus a lot of the grays are resistant to the color. Your video is very inspiring, although I do not have a good head shape the way you do for short hair so cutting it all off will not be an option for me. Hmmm, lots to think about!
