Hey friends, I hope you're having a good day today, so today I'm going to be doing a style with my hot airbrush. A lot of you have these hot air brushes now, and I think I just need to show more styles that I do and I think today, I'm going to do something interesting, I'm going to I'm going to blow dry my the sides straight down and then put A lot of body in the top here, probably going back, I've, been doing that the last several days. Do you guys get into these weird um pixie cut styles, where you're like oh I'm gon na do the same thing every day for five days and then you get on another roll. So that's what I've been doing the last several days. I really like it and I want to share it with you. I guess before I get started, let me tell you about my um. The last ten days of my life has been super crazy um. What has happened is that I don't remember if I told you guys this, but that I was going to Kansas City to watch the, not the championship game, but the divisional game, and that was really really fun achieves actually won, and then they won yesterday, if you're A football fan sure there's not a lot of football fans on my channel, but and there's people that live in Europe that are on my cheek that are subs on my channel. So you guys might not follow the news, but basically the Chiefs are in the Superbowl, which is extremely exciting. It hasn't happened for 50 years and so yeah. So I went on that trip to Kansas City and then I flew out of Kansas City down to Dallas and I had a week in Dallas at work with a lot of meetings and stuff. So I have been extremely busy and I just got back home on Friday. So that's why I didn't do a video this last weekend. You'Ll you'll be watching this this next weekend today is Monday, Martin Luther King Day, and I actually have two day off so film. In a couple videos, anyway um, so I am gon na get started with this hot airbrush. So let me talk to you a little bit about it before I start blow drying my hair um. The beauty of these things are that you, you are taking two steps and putting it in one. Usually, you would blow-dry your hair and then, if you did want to put any kind of curl in your hair, you have to do that with a separate tool. This is nice because it's one tool you get the air coming through the barrel here. It comes through here comes through the barrel and there is a metal see if you can see that the barrel actually is metal. So it does heat up your hair and can put a curl in. I can tell you that it's a gentle curl, it's not like super curly or anything. You can certainly curl keep twisting around at the same spot and get more of a curl. So, if you're looking for super curly hair, this is not your your tool, but this tool is great. If you're kind of in a rush, you've washed your hair, you want to quickly style it and it's just it's a real time-saver. I can. I can say that um anyways this is the jin ree brand. I did buy this on Amazon when I did my first video on the January. It sold out a couple times, but since then they've read stocked it. So I will link that to the most recent version. That'S on Amazon right now, which is the same one, but you have to be careful when you're buying, because sometimes you might not know that you're buying the bigger barrel and for you for those of you that have short hair. You need a smaller barrel. So I was looking for the smallest barrel on the market, smallest one on the market. Is this one, although hot hairbrushes are a hot thing right now, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are others out there that were just as small of a barrel as this and we're just as good, so I'm not just attached to this version. It'S just that! This particular tool, this particular brand, is the only one I have so. I have heard a lot of other brands that people are buying now, so I would just say: hey whatever brand you get, you can still do the same things with it and I'm not tied to one brand or another, but I do really like this brush. So before I get started, I'm going to spray I'm gon na spray, a leave-in conditioner on my hair. I don't use this much. This is the cake, the main manager, obviously people like leaving conditioners, especially for long hair, because you don't get tangles and stuff, but I really like a leave-in conditioner, because it can, I don't know, feel like. I have some kind of protection on my hair. So I'm just gon na comes out weird. It comes out a little bit thick, but I'm just gon na it spray a little bit on there and I got some all over my shirt, um and then just kind of you don't want to put too much on. But I'm just gon na run my fingers through my hair here and just get it get the product distributed. Okay, so let's get started with this brush um, I'm going to get it come here. What I'd like to do? Um is kind of put a part on either side right here and you can do it even further down. If you want to look right here and right here and that's what I'm getting to work on first is I'm going to work on. I don't know how long your sides are, but my size are usually fairly short in the summer, I'll even go shorter on the sides, but what I'd like to do is kind of dry, the sides slicked down and then I'll work on the top here here goes All right, so my sites are dry. My back, the back of my hair, is still a little bit damp. I am now going to do the top okay, so what I'd like to do is go in kind of back to the side. This way, here's the trick. I'M going to show you so if you get a hot, your brush get one that has the swivel cord, but beauty of the swivel cord is that when you are drying you can just twirl it like this, and then your court doesn't get all bunched up. That'S awesome, that's one of my favorite parts of this braid, so I first of all my hair feels amazing. I don't know if it was. I did a couple different things. I did take a bath right before this or a shower. I'M sorry and I put a hair mask on my son - gave me a bunch of hair masks that came from Walmart. Let me show you what brand I got. Okay. So anyway, like I said my son gave me a bunch of hair mask over Christmas and would like come in packed like this and the one I just used. Was this one NYC dreams sweet escape by HASC and my hair feels amazing feels really soft um. I think it's a good idea, especially if you are like me in that you color your hair frequently you need to give your hair a little TLC sometimes so anyway, I put a hair mask on left it on for about, I would say 10 minutes and and Then, of course, I used this cake, but my hair feels very soft and just different than normal, so the hot airbrush, I think, did a really good job. Today it did. I did exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to do these sides going down. I wanted to do my hair kind of going back like this, and I also like this part where I put it kind of under right here. Um now all we have left to do is put a little product in to style this, and I want to be a little funky today. So let's put a little pizzazz in this hairdo. So this is the kenra platinum, texturizing, taffy, and I've used this a couple. Different times really really sticky, it kind of looks like purple bubble, gum or taffy. It actually looks like taffy. Doesn'T it um, so I'm gon na get about that? Much! Not you just you don't want to get too much because, as you all know, um too much product in tear can leave your hair feeling really gross, and I don't want it to be that way, but I'm not gon na just pile it on like this. I'M gon na put it in my hands and, of course, you're gon na have to rub your hands after this, but really rub your hands together, so that it's kind of covering the palms of your hands and now just don't worry about how it looks too much. You just really want to get it in your hair so that you can start messing with it and styling it so right now, I'm just distributing all that taffy in there and I don't wash my hands quite yet. I I will work with my hair until I'm happy with it and ready to spray and then I'll wash my hands. So this is where you can really get some height with your hair and I still want the sides to be kind of slipped down. But I want the top to be fun. That was actually a really quick do. I think I've only been talking for about 10 minutes. So I think, like I said, the beauty of a hot airbrush is a very quick style and it does leave your hair soft. I'M not saying that it was just a hair mask every time I have used the hot airbrush. I do feel like it's really easy to style afterwards, so um something weird going on right here. Sometimes you just have to do a quick look, some little touch-up. So, if you're not happy with how your hair is going, so I'm just going to put a little more tacky right at the edge here. The other thing that I always have trouble doing is making height in the back, so that it looks good from behind all right. I think we are about ready to spray this all right. I'M gon na do a quick spray with my camera, medium hair spray, perfect medium spray number 13. Let me show you the side and the back all right. Well, I would love to hear your comments about how you use your hot air brush on your pixie or, if you don't have a pixie. How do you use your hot airbrush if you have one? Gayla Denison: Hi, glad that you are back! Another great video, thank you for the good tips! I went to the salon with my husband to get his hair cut. The stylist kept looking at my pixie and commented on how great it looks. I told her I have been watching your videos on how to style it better! And, you're right, I do not follow football but my family does. My California clan is for the 49ers and my Arkansas clan wants the Chiefs (?) to win. Glad I'm impartial!! EVERYONE out here in Northern California is talking about that upcoming game. Have a great week.

Sharon Hansen: FINALLY some real help! my hair dresser can get my pixie in a cute style, but I'm not as adept and have been searching for products that would help. You videos nailed it. Products, tools and tips. Thank-you so much. I also love your lipcolor. Please share that too!

pakkmom: Love your videos. You are so calm and kind. After my stroke last Jan I couldn’t remember how to do my hair among a lot of other things. It’s been a process! Somehow remembered how to use YouTube and found your videos. Started to remember that could do some things by following others. Your videos have really helped, my hair looks so much better. I feel so much better! Also have a lot of product that couldn’t remember what it was or how to use it. Again, you have helped me to remember some of them, more importantly how to use them again. May have said this on another of your videos ... but can’t quite remember...trying not to be repetitive‍♀️. Just erase it if it’s being repetitive. Thank you again and am so grateful.

Christina Jones: Loving this pixie hairstyle a lot. It looks fantastic!

Theresa Jopson: Another great Video! I love that brush so much I bought a spare to have a back-up! I previously tried the Calista tool but the power was way too strong even on low for short hair. this is perfect. Keep the ideas coming! Thanks So Much!

Kelly Kenny: I love your eyeshadow!!! Whatever you’re doing with your makeup is killer.

It’s Jess: New sub ..hello That style looks amazing on you! I appreciate this video bc I was looking for a blow dryer brush & my mom was wondering if one would work for her short , thin hair! I have always had long brown curly/wavy hair so I now have a short angled Bob but want to go to a pixie cut. I have looked at so many and they just weren't quite right but yours is great. I think it is because of the colour. It gives me an idea of what I would look like so I have saved it to show my hairdresser. Wish me luck.

Irene Gibbs: I just love watching your videos and listening to your news Its like having a visit from a friend I have difficulty getting volume at the crown of my hair & then piecing out the strands What can you suggest? I have a pixie cut Thank you so much Sage

Kriss Daniels: Do u put any product in ur hair after u wash it .. like moose or anything like that? Root booster? Other than ur leave in conditioner?

Kriss Daniels: Omg girl u were here in KC? I wish knew. I’m in Kc. Live here lucky u got to go to that game! I was watching! And of coarse now I’m watching AFTER Chiefs won the Super Bowl . It’s so wonderful. U should’ve been here Wednesday during the parade! It was super crazy here. The city was so explosive great ! I didn’t go to parade .. too much crowds for me and being in a electric scooter wheelchair too much but watched on my tv. Did u see it? B4 the parade that car that drove through the parade barricades and chase from cops? It was insane how close he was to hitting all those people behind the barricades. Oh btw u hair always looks great! Got almost same cut now but a bit shorter on sides.. more shaved . Needs to grow out some .

Robin L: Nice!

Rosie Alvarez: I got my jinri air brush about a month ago and I Love it the only concern I have is that when I plug it in it seems to make a sound I don't know if it's normal or if its because of the electricity running though It I usually leave my blow dryer plug in but I have not felt comfortable leaving my air brush because of the sound it makes but besides that it works perfectly on my hair. Does your make that sound I can't seem to find a number that I can call and ask if its safe.

Kaz: Do you colour your hair your self? or go to hairdresser's, nice colour.

Jean H: Please shut up and show the product
