Unique Pixie Cut - Behind The Scenes Pixie Haircut At Home [Haircut Fails??]

I'M gon na shave. It hey guys we're here today, because i'm gon na be doing another haircut. I am not a professional. I do not have a clue what i'm doing, i'm just a mom who doesn't want to take her kids to the hair salon. I chopped it off a lot about maybe six months ago and it came out fine and i recently did their bangs and that video is here or down up. I don't know you can click on that um someone commented for bangs do not wet them, as i did in the video, but you could see either way it comes out. Fine, the danger with wetting it is that they get shorter after they dry. So the risk is that you cut them too short, but if you know how long to cut them, because i've been doing it myself when they're wet, so i basically knew how much they would shrink and it wasn't a risk for me, but be careful if you're Doing it yourself so um, i think what i'm gon na do this one is requesting a boy haircut which she just means short, so i'm thinking like a pixie cut yeah. No, what like daddy! She wants like daddy's haircut, which i don't know how to do, because when i cut my son's hair, i don't really know what to do. I have the clippers and stuff, but i basically just shave it because i don't know how to get that nice gradual thing. I know there are a bazillion youtube tutorials out there, but i don't know, and then this one yes tell them what you want uh. So i want my hair close to my bang like right here and i'm gon na shave on the back. That'S a straight line! So she basically wants, like a chin length, bob um that goes up and shaved in the back which i had in high school. But i have no idea how to do that either. So follow me for this hilarious journey, we're about to embark on and if it goes well um you can use it as motivation and confidence that you can do it and if it goes terribly then uh you can have a laugh at us. Don'T do it? Don'T girls? What do we say? It'S just hair. It'S definitely yeah. It grows back and you can still unless it's shaved off completely. You can always like fix it. So, but slowly it grows. It does grow slowly. So you got ta. Think these things through. So she asked she was begging for it for a while. Now and yesterday she really ramped up the bagging, and i said well, let's, let's wait till tomorrow, so now we're gon na do it. I wish us luck now. It'S gon na be a surprise. They don't want to see each other's hair till it's done so you go and you i think we need to wet it. First, my uh, my garbage bag chop, it all off and then go from there. I'M gon na leave some space between the goal length that way you have room to fix it, you'll see when they look down versus look up, hair sticks out and those crazy things give them a look see how it looks right now we chopped it off bob. I'M gon na keep it like that. No, not to my sin. You want to go shorter. Uh, like you, want a pixie cut. That'S what we call a short haircut. I don't know. I'M scared! I don't know how to do. Should i just cut it. It'S gon na be really really short, emme really really short, but my hair always goes in the way when i have this kind of thing, but you can wear clips, you want it short like a horse and not like. Oh, here's in the way you want to shave it like a boy like denzel like kenzo. Is it because you feel like you're a boy or you just like short hair? So it's not in your face, so it halfway. It'S not in my face. So then we could grow it out and put in a ponytail short hair like kenzo. I'M scared are you sure 100. It may come out really horrible, you're gon na cry, you're gon na say: mommy, it's okay, mom, it's! Okay, okay, okay, all right! All right here! We go we're going pixie we're going pixie and i should probably look up a tutorial. I don't know, i think i'm just gon na do like this kind of thing, where i just like that that we're gon na do. I don't know what i'm doing it's. Turning into like the dorothy hamill, oh my gosh, you wan na achieve it i'm going to show you it all right we're going to try some more layers. Oh i'm! Getting there. Oh amy, i like to cut g. Hey, it's definitely a uh, an original haircut. We got shaved in the back. We got pixie in the front. Pixie dixie get the little sideburns. Oh now we're gon na go wash it off. Look at the back! Oh so! Please! It'S just hair right, yeah, so itchy so much hair everywhere, yeah! First, we got to get me a shower and then we'll do yours. Okay. What do you think about emmy's hair? Yes, it was good. He said it was funky a little bit. I call it disaster chic um. So what are we doing for you? We'Re still doing the chin length bob did you want bangs again or no? No, no bangs! Okay. What do you think you like it? Your hair's all wet my little pixie. You guys have totally different hair now, one with bangs one with no bangs on with the shade back of the head. Super short pixie cut, so fun all right, emmie give us a little whirl turn. There'S your little pixie pixie sideburns and lean forward. Here'S your shaved back that you requested, which is a bit uneven. That'S! Okay! Oh! What do you think good and you washed your hair and it was so easy yeah. What do you think of yours, mia who's? Do you like better emmys, that's sweet! I love you guys. Do we have fun today? Yeah me too yeah, it's growing on me for sure i was really nervous at first, but now i'm like it's like really suits you emmy. It really suits you. It'S adorable and mia. Yours suits you too. No, you want to come up with a better name: snowball, snowball, snowballing, pixie, no snowball, two snowballs; okay, all right. So my little psa is that uh, when your gut tells you to stop and find a tutorial, because you have no idea what you have gotten yourself into. Listen to your gut, don't just keep chopping! In my case. It kind of came out all right. It'S growing on me: she loves it and that's the most important thing and we had fun and they got what they wanted.
