Growing Out My Pixie Cut: Dyeing & Trimming Short Hair To Grow Nicely
♥ In today's video, I go to my hairdresser to dye and trim my pixie cut as it grows out. The long-term plan is to let it grow longer, but I will enjoy the process and try some different looks on the way there, so to speak. I'm not in a rush at all. :)

GROWING OUT MY PIXIE CUT: Dyeing & Trimming Short Hair to Grow Nicely
Hey guys welcome to a new video here on my channel today we're doing a video that I have been longing for for a very long time, and that is my getting my hair done. Video as you can see, I'm in desperate need of getting my hair done. The last time I got it done professionally, it was in March of 2019, so it's almost been a year since I did something professionally to it. As for doing things myself, I shaved the sides in July. So this is my growth since July. Basically, all the sides and everything as for bleaching - I don't remember when I bleached it last sometimes during a fall, I think, but obviously my roots are growing out and it looks really ugly. So today I will be going to my hairdresser. She moved away from town like I don't know two years ago or something and I always used to go to her and whenever she's back in town, she has some appointments available and I just by chance, went to their website to book an appointment and saw that She was available, so I'm super excited to be able to go to her again. She is awesome and she's going to get to bleach, lighten up all of this stuff, make it a little bit cooler in the tone, probably and maybe trim the the lengths just a little bit, but basically my plan right now is for it to grow out. I'M not in a super rush for it to grow out. I'M not like. I want this long hair right now. Definitely not extensions not for me. I never had extensions, I'm never probably going to have extensions, but I want for it. I want my hair to grow out, but I'm going to enjoy the process, so I'm going to like two different hairdos as it grows so now the plan is just for it to look good as it grows, and today we want to make it look good. Hopefully so I'll bring you along to the salon and then we will see each other back here afterwards. Okay, guys it's haircutting day and I just finished up some work here at the office. It is 1:30 p.m. my haircut. Appointment is in half an hour, so I'm going to bring menís back to the apartment. Leave him there. I'M gon na change my shirt, because this is covered in dog hair and that we're going to get my hair done. I still have not really decided what I'm going to do so I'm going to have to talk to her about Jesus, I'm going to have to talk to her about that and we'll see what we get up to so, let's head out. Of course, they're closed for lunch until 2:00 and my appointment starts and I'm always 15 minutes early. So now I'm just standing here waiting for 15 minutes in the cold, Lester vanilluxe on get going to run home or suddenly up stick people, it's a ah according to do to potentially sell off your cold. They throw sexy sort. I'M gon na come have to walk the earth again: 20 Kingdom, uncles, aha, as most a big button, so we complication harm Allah. Masha Allah Allah see the sentences but uh. This is the final result, maybe a little bit anticlimactic if you expected a huge change, but, as I said in the beginning, we were just gon na cut it and trim it a little bit and fix the color, which we obviously have done. She did a bunch of small small small highlights all through my hair and as for cutting it, we basically trimmed the edges just a little bit and the biggest change is in the back. So I will show you that in a minute, so they don't have any before pictures of the back or sadly I mean thank goodness more like because it probably looked absolutely horrible, but now it looks great if the plan was to keep my hair short, we would Have done something more to it, we would have probably made the back shorter and probably just like made it more of a hairstyle. I haven't really used the products I'm used to using and I haven't really styled it completely myself. So this might not be a fair representation of what it's going to look like when I do style it myself, but since the plan is for it to eventually grow out, you didn't want to take too much of the length which of course limits what kind of A hairdo you can create, but she did send it out a little bit on top. She did cut the top part here, a little little bit shorter, so that I can get a little more volume when I pouf it up like this and yeah. That'S basically what we did I'll try to show you guys the back now, I'm going to have to flip away the microphone for a second. This is going great. Okay, we basically cut a lot of the length in the back, so I didn't have this kind of uh. Okay, I'm not talking into the microphone right now, okay, this fell off. So I'm guess. I'M not gon na use that now we took a lot of the lengths off and removed the kind of Mohawk no.not mohawk mullet Miletus English horse. I had like these really long hair lumps that were just like hanging out of my neck, which were they were really ugly in my opinion, so she did trim the back a lot and since the back is the part that kind of grows the longest first, because It'S so far down. It has so much time to grow until this catches up down here that it that doesn't matter if we kept this, keep cutting this short until the rest of the hair is at this length. All in all, I'm super happy with it super happy with the color. We decided to do the the highlights, instead of just dyeing everything, because my hair, my own hair, is what's three different colors. It was like really light furthest out, yellow in the middle and my kind of ashy blonde color in the roots. So now it looks a little bit more natural, there's still a little bit of depth to it, and my hair will be able to keep growing without the growth, the roots being way too visible way too soon, but so far I'm happy with it. It'S super nice to not have that gross hair all over my neck anymore and she blow-dried it like she blow-dried this part here backwards, and I usually blow that riot downwards and I think it looks much nicer when it kind of from here goes back. So I'm definitely going to start blow drying it more backwards, rather than just downwards. I just recently like the past few weeks, I have been getting a lot of questions, how I style my hair right now, especially for the videos where I style it backwards. I made a video recently where I style it from frontwards forward. If you want to watch that, I will leave the link in the description as for styling it up and back. I don't do anything honestly. I have the kind of hair where I really can just like. I can just push it back and it it is what it is now. I can't really see in the viewfinder what this looks like, but when I do it like this, you can see the biggest difference compared to what it looked like before, since it was my roots that were the darkest. When I had everything forward with swept bangs, you couldn't really see the roots that much. But when I do this, you can really see that it's light all the way through. If you want to get my same look, you can of course show this to your hairdresser. If you want to I'll do a 360 spin in the end, so you guys can see what it looks like from all angles. You usually want that. I didn't even know. That was a thing before you guys started asking for a 360, but I'll give that to you at the end of the video. Thank you guys for watching. It gets into a high stack diagonal forward and I cant take it anymore and have to shave the sides again. I've grown so accustomed to not spending time on my hair that I cant stand spending 10 minutes in the morning fixing it when its longer. Your haircut is SUPER cute. Your stylist did a great job of blending the sides along with toning you to an even color!!!

Pat’s Padd: Hello Katrin and a good video you’ve done there showcasing your new hairstyle as I enjoy your different hairstyles you have done and like the way you explain yourself in an articulate way albeit in a sort of comical way like when you’re turning around showing the back when in the studio and a few mishaps occur and I’ve also redone my hair about a week ago or so by means of using a men’s hair trimming kit in which I done the top with a 12mm length guide and the back and sides with a 3mm length guide and I know that when oneself does their hairstyle it can be a thing where they want to impress other people but then oneself has to think about how they feel with their hairstyle as you’ve got to feel comfortable with it thus look presentable and although I went through a phase of having long hair like yourself it can be high maintenance so that’s why I like it shorter these days in which I prefer to do it myself whilst in my pre teen to mid teens days I went to the barber then from latter teens through to latter thirties I was going to the unisex hair salons and having all sorts of things done such as blonde highlights and red tints and curly bubble perms etc then from that time I gone back to the barbers to have the normal styles though about almost a year ago I decided to do it my self as I can save money and avoid the hassle of going to a barbers plus these days I have a simple style of doing my hair so anyway that’s it for now though I’d like to congratulate you on reaching 450k subscribers and long may your numbers increase especially now that you have a smart studio set up where the background is a nice multi shade of white and the sound is easy on the ear with a nice little bit of hollow echo sound so until the next time take great care of your self and cheerio

We shall see in a month or so with hair growth. Im also still coloring my hair red. So im not expecting phenomenal results fast
