Hello, everybody and welcome back to my youtube channel today is episode four of short hair sundays. I can't believe we've done done this for a whole month. It'S so exciting, i'm so happy that you guys are enjoying it. The response has been amazing and i'm so glad we're back here for week four, and i can answer some more of your questions so, as you may have noticed, i've actually styled my hair differently today, um i basically, instead of just like drawing it back, i've applied It forwards, i don't know if i'm keen, i don't know, i don't know if i'm mad on it. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments um. I think i prefer the the cliff to be honest, but it's something different and you know there's only so much you can do when your hair is this short, so it's nice to have a bit of a change and mix it up a little bit. Also, it's quite good if i've got a bubble hat on, because it doesn't really matter which you know uh. You do have to consider quite like as well the size how you can see it but yeah. I don't know. Maybe it's just a bit of getting used to and i do find that with short hair that you know you have to get used to. It is a funny one like that um but yeah. I just want to mention it. Okay, so i've got a lot of questions to get through on today's video, so without further ado, let's get on with it, so i hope you've all got your cups and mugs of hot coffee or tea. Look at this disney porsche. Jim got me this. I think last christmas happy mother's day, oh mother's day, how cute, though so good honestly, it's three iron in the northwest uk and it's so cold, so cold here at the moment, this is like my third coffee of the morning just to try - and you know warm Me up and make me feel cozy, because this weather, it's just freezing anyway, let's get on with the questions you're, not here with me to talk about the weather and cups of coffee right, so numero 1. So this is like a point of view, question which i absolutely love, and this is um from one of my good friends on instagram, and this says i'm scared of clippers. Aren'T they for men now. 100 percent understand this point of view because i think um as much as you're like no. I think everyone does have this feeling initially before they've ever, you know had a clipper experience and had clippers on their hair for the first time as i've said before. In my hair update, vlogs and videos, i do have clippers on my hair. I have a um two around the sides and then down to the one. So you know we're sure we're short over here and my hairdresser does it. I go to a hairdresser, not a barber's, and she does it with the clippers. Now, no, i'm not going to be scared of originally when i had it for the first time. I was apprehensive and i i don't know why. I think it's just that that feeling of okay we're going this short now we are going this short, but, to be honest, it doesn't make a difference. It just in my opinion, makes me like if you're having like a fade like this, it just makes it look. Slicker - and i think that is such a vibe um they're, definitely not for men um, even when i had much longer short hair than this, when i had like definitely more at the sides. My hair just always use the clippers on the nape of my neck, because my hair grew down like down my neck a bit and obviously you want a neat line and obviously around your ears like side burns, i'm dark, so we always used to use them to Tidy this bit up um, but yeah they're, nothing to be afraid of, and i think that once you've had the clippers on your hair, it is sort of addictive you do enjoy it and then yeah. It'S just like their feelings. Really nice, like jim, my boyfriend, loves like feeling the back of my hair, and you know it's it's cool and there's definitely nothing that needs to separate it from being like feminine or masculine. It'S it's just a hair tool. At the end of the day, isn't it like scissors? It is just that so yeah don't be afraid of it, absolutely nothing to be afraid of if you do want to see kind of how clippers work to create much more of a defined haircut watch. My last hair video, like vlog, and of what i had my hair cut, so you can actually see it in action and yeah. My advice would be just do a little bit of research have a little look on different styles, that um clippers are used for, and you'll probably be very surprised that it isn't just super short, buzzed hair. There is a lot of in between a lot of different things. It'S used for, obviously, i'm not a hairdresser, always hold my hands up and tell you guys that i have no qualifications in here whatsoever. Makeup is my vibe, but i can tell you this that there is so much more. It'S used for such a versatile hair tool and it's nothing to be scared of okay. I love this next question say thank you so much for sending this in. I am going to keep all the um the names to the questions anonymous because i always say i will um. You know, i'm sure people don't mind me sharing them, but i just want to keep that and between us. So any tips for a guy wanting to try your hairstyle, i'm so flattered it. Firstly, and so thank you so much and i'm i'm guessing because of when um i received this question. It obviously was when i had my sweatback quiff and yeah. Definitely just go for it. I don't think i've got any tips other than go for it because um, obviously my other half is male and i think that we have very similar haircuts. I always joke about it, and i tease him because when i have my hair cut, it is shorter than his um and it's it's very similar in the style he does go down to his skin fade around the sides, and i think that on a man looks Sick, like so sexy um, so definitely i would definitely say, maybe consider. Obviously it's always up to you. You know you don't have to take my advice at all, but i would definitely consider going down to a um like a zero like skin, like proper skin fade because obviously find a good, barber or hairdresser that can can do a good skin fade, but um yeah Quiff, on top fade at the sides down to zero gorgeous. This brings me nicely on to the next question. Have you tried a zero fade um? No, i haven't. I get this question all the time and never say never guys, never say never um at the moment. I'M really happy with how my hair's looking, i think i've come a long way in finding my trademark style, and i do think that the haircut the fade the the length on top that i've had recently. I'M sorry if i'm feeling sounding really nasty guys, i'm just getting over a cold like just disclaimer. It'S nothing, sinister, it's just a cold million tests, but it's still here. Do you know what i mean it's just still in my face and what was the scene yeah? Zero fades. It'S taking me a long time to get to a point with my hair that i love it because i'm so indecisive, i change up all the time as you can see um, but i'm just happy at the moment. Um but never say never. I love mixing it up. I definitely would consider having a zero fade. I think it's something that i'll definitely toil with in the future um. Who knows maybe to see you like soon, but no i haven't i haven't, but i'm not far off. Do you know? What'S in it i mean this is like two week growth now and you say you: if you look back, we are virtually down to a skin fade. There'S not much difference. What advice would you give us? Ladies before we go to the chop, i get this question loads on my tic toc on my instagram and um. I really appreciate this question because it definitely is something that i think people are apprehensive about. You know cutting their hair short. I think it comes with a lot of assumptions um, but my advice is to watch my video on this, because i've done a whole video dedicated to these questions and and advice that i would give someone who is thinking of cutting their hair shorts, and i will Link that video down below and at the end of the video as well, but my sincere advice here and now is go for. It find a haircut that you really like doesn't matter. If anyone else likes it. If you like it, and my advice as well is to to find find on someone that you think okay, it could look similar on me because, if i was to look at you know a picture of a woman with really really bleach blonde hair, um very natural. Looking or someone that's got a super super skinny face, or you know something that just isn't me then you're going to struggle when it actually comes to having your hair cut. If you've had it done, then you're like oh it's nothing like what i expected so keep your expectations. Realistic, um i've always been compared to frankie, sanford or frankie bridge, because i have dark features. She has dark features with both quite tan petite, and so when looking at pictures and style inspiration for my hair, i would look to her and other people similar in looks because i think well, there's a bit more of a realistic comparison there, and so i'm not Gon na get like this crazy shock as soon as i get my hair cut, so you've got to keep it realistic and and be kind to yourself. In that respect, you know, and there's no point expecting it to look like someone or something that is just not like you does. That makes sense, so bear that in mind when obviously go for the chop, but it grows the other other piece of advice. Is it just grows so fast? So don't be worried about it, not suiting you, because if you play around if you're happy to put in the work - and i must say that this is something that people don't get told you do have to play around - you have to practice, you do not wake Up your hair looks like this or like when i've got a quiff back, i have to style it every day, so have expectations that are realistic and you'll be fine. Is there a short hairstyle for every face? I personally think so. I think it is more about the confidence you bring to the table than anything about anything else. It'S nothing about how um slim, you are, how old you are, how beautiful you perceive yourself to be that doesn't come into the picture when i consider if a short hair is going to suit me, i think. Well, i have the confidence to wear it. I have the confidence to own it, so that's going to work because i'm going to make it work, it's all about what's in here, literally, it really really is with short hair. You'Ve got to be confident. You'Ve got to own it. I know that people are not going to like my short hair. I just know it: it's not everyone's cup of tea, but do you want to everyone's cup of tea? No, so when it comes to every face, yeah, there's different styles to see different people like, i think, like um, some of the instagram pages that showcase a lot of different styles on a lot of different women. You know they're amazing, because it shows that variety so have a little look on. There have a look on pinterest. Pinterest is amazing for short, hair inspiration as well, and i think well, my face is actually very round um. I do a lot of contouring. You know. I use facial devices um to help contour my face, and but my face is very round i haven't got a very angular face like almond face it's quite round to be honest. Well, i never that let that stop me. You just have to work to your advantage and think well is that going to suit me with my face, shape or not so just have a look around, have a look at inspiration. That'S similar to your own face shape and go from there, but i 100 disagree with anyone that says some people do not see short hair. That'S my opinion, but i disagree. 100. Okay, and what are your top five? Those two products you use all the time? Okay, i will show you here: i've got them here, so i have my last video actually showing my favorite product so do check that out as well um because yeah, hopefully that will be helpful as well i'll link it in the description box and but i am A creature of habit when it comes to my hair products, i do tend to reach for the same ones. I know what works. I know what um products suit my hair suit. My hair type give me the finish i desire, so i do reach for these all the time now. My go-to and wrapped hair product is the bed head by tg. This is the small talk you guys if you've been here a while. So it's not really like reflecting you'll know that i reach for this on a daily. I do it's fantastic, it smells gorgeous, doesn't leave your hair. Tacky lasts forever, literally forever. It'S really reasonably priced and it's fantastic gives you extra body and volume not too much. Obviously, if you don't want like crazy, big hair um but yeah, absolutely fantastic, second product is again volume product. There'S a bit of a theme going with my hair. I like volume and that's you got to be powderful volumizing hair powder. This stuff is incredible. Sprinkle it all over your roots, rub it in, and you do have to wash this product out, so do bear that in mind, and it is hard to style your hair the next day, if you've got this in previously, but it is fantastic. Um can't recommend this enough and again a little bit goes a long way. Number three is my l'oreal style, easter, pixie cream wax. I just picked this one because um, i have a lot of these to be honest, but this one is just as good as any other. I like the fact that this is more of a cream consistency, so you can see it's really light. It'S so good for separating like i'll. Just show you a little bit here so just warm up in your fingertips, and it is so good for just giving your hair a little bit of separation. I just love it. It smells absolutely fantastic as well, so you can just see it's given that really nice, pc pc effect, smells gorgeous and again a little bit goes a long way. Really reasonably priced can't beat it another product from l'oreal is the stylist big hairspray? This is a texturizing volume and a flexible hold. I wouldn't use this instead of hairspray. I would recommend using a hairspray on top of this. This is great for just giving your hair a little bit of um messiness and just putting that kind of flexibility back in your hair. I love this. This is fantastic for giving your hair a little bit of separation as well, making sure your layers stand out. I can't live without a texturizing spray. I can't do my hair without a texturizing spray. Even if it's this short, i love it. Number five is my silver creme. This is my holy grail hairspray. I have used this for years. Um, cheapest chips, absolutely fantastic. Some people don't like it, i love it maximum hold. I, like my hair to stay locked in all day, doesn't matter if it's hard doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. If it leaves my hair crunchy, it doesn't matter it works. I can't really say much more about that. Okay, so the last question for today's short hair sunday is what was the reaction when you first went short, were people shocked when i went short was over 10 years ago now? How crazy is that, actually, 10 years ago, obviously have grown? It'S like a bob and stuff in between which we won't go there. It didn't last very long um, but yeah people were surprised because i used to have very long hair and i also used to use extensions and my hair was super super long and no one had seen me with anything different um. So, yes, people were shocked, but i had a really good good response from it and i loved it and because i loved it um that confidence obviously meant i carried carried it off a little bit easier. I think i think it's all about how you how you own it, and i think, if i'd been walking around really conscious of it, people would have been like i'm not sure either it honestly what you get out. You come comes back to you. So if you, if you carry it and think i look flipping good, everyone else is going to think you look living good too. Just is what it is. Um but yeah. I just go shorter and shorter, don't know, and the response has been mainly good. You do get a lot, i think, as you go really short, you do get some backhanded compliments and mainly from the older generation i find personally um and it is things like um. Let me try and cover an example one one of the questions. Like one response i get is you've had your hair cut and you're like yeah, i know glad you noticed and things like that, like they don't say they like love it and you think. Well, i know you don't like it, but i don't care um. So yeah you only get. I only personally get a little bit of um feedback like that. It'S what the books about, because i really couldn't care less and that's that so yeah. So yeah people were surprised. People are shocked, but it soon becomes normal. Like you actually don't realize that people don't care they're, only thinking about themselves at the end of the day, people don't care um and if they do care, that's their issue. Isn'T there at the end of the day, so yeah, and i hope that has answered all of your questions guys. Thank you so much for tuning in again today really really appreciate us, you know being here to bust some short hair myths and questions, and i hope i've been of help. So please don't forget to leave me a comment down below telling me what you want to see me answer next on um. Next week's video, if you agree or disagree with any of these comments and yeah just just let's have a discussion about it, and i always reply and read your comments. It'S the first thing i do when i release a video, so yeah feedback is always more open than anything else. So, thank you very, very much guys and i will see you in the next one bye for now.

Tracy Sharp: I love the bangs. You look lovely no matter how you wear your hair. It's cold here in Upstate NY, too. And yes, we are here to talk about weather and coffee, too! At least, I am. Love the chatty videos :)

Louise 0474: This traditional style of pixie is so complimentary on you x

blue28119: Beuitiful cut pippa you really suit short hair. Question. Ever fancied getting a clippercut in a real traditional barber shop? Would make an amazing video too

Pagey 54: Good session. Love your hair forward and think it suits you. Maybe try really short whispy bangs next time. My stylist keeps persuading me to try a little undercut to see how it feels and break me in but I’ve been too scared. She reckons they feel real good on your neck

Jim Stone: You should really do a buzz bald fade at least once it will really bring out that great bone structure in your beautiful face. Do a number three on top and gradually down to a total bald fade.

Sandra Mccoy: U look so good with short hair .love your videos. Thank u .

Tracy: I loooove your hair like this, so pretty.
