Hey y'all welcome back to my channel today's video, I'm gon na, be showing you how I got my BA Bass birthday haircut. All by myself. I got a lot of compliments on that front snap and y'all. I love it so much. I haven't had my hair shorter since I was like in high school and I was like 5 years ago, so let's go ahead and get started. Watch me snatch this week a pause y'all, oh my god. So first, I'm just gon na dangle my hair using a big paddle brush. My hair is like really you're, not supposed to say the word nappy anymore, but that's what it is. It is what it is. Yeah I've always had short hair and I've always loved it. So now I'm just gon na base my edges and my Scout using an aerobic comfort zone. This is gon na prep me, for you already know the creamy crack. I don't care, I don't care, we love it over here, because I just want that simple relaxed laid hairstyle. I'Ve been had my hair short since I was in high school and I always loved it, and I knew that we'll go back to it. I did a big shot back in 2016, where I cut all my relaxer out, but I just missed it so much that I decided [ __ ] bring it back you're 21. Now, let's, let's bring it back you so once your scalp is nice and based and protected, I'm gon na go ahead and get draped and mix my relax, I'm using a design, essential, sensitive Scout relaxer and I'm gon na mix this with the activator. Until it's nice and creamy, like cottage cheese, I guess is what I'm gon na call it so we're just gon na go in in tiny little sections, and I like to do the edges of the hair first. So you'll see me just like applying it all over and this would be considered a virgin relaxer because I don't have any relaxing right now, so I'm just going in from the scalp and then I'm gon na smooth it all out you so now that I have It completely covered, I'm just taking a small comb and comb and smoothing it through this part is really really really important that you go back and smooth it out, because if you don't, then you may get some areas that are unprocessed and you don't want that. You want to all smooth all over your head, you so do not judge me. For this part, I got home and I realized I don't have any processing caps, but I shampoo this out using the honey cream, moisture retention shampoo from design essentials. This is a really great. Shampoo is good for detangling and it smells amazing yeah. As you can see, I am deep conditioning my hair using a rosemary mint, stimulating deep conditioner from design essentials. That'S why I got this back on. So this is the hair all relaxed. So I am just gon na go ahead and mold it down for the most part using the Roby foam, wrap and I'm just gon na go ahead and slick it down kind of like in the in the formation of how I'm gon na cut my hair and Then I'm just gon na wrap it and try it you so now here is the fun part lecture part where I cut my hair. I need, are you shares and then also a regular Clipper? I didn't really think this through when I was filming and how we were gon na be able to see. But here we are oh, so I didn't have a mirror going in the back of my head. I literally just used the guard sizes. I'M thinking like this is a size. I think I started off with a size 6, all the way up to the top of my ear, and then I moved down, I'm almost positive, so that's all I did to cut it and then I'm taking one bundle from even I like to use a bundle. Instead of like pack hair just because it flows better yeah, so I'm doing this in like a quick weave method and I'm just parting, the hair rub in and then I'm just gon na be quick weave in some tracks in you. So I put about three about three tracks in and I do not use like my real shears to cut my bundles. I don't it wears out your book, not your bundles. It wears out your shares, so I use like the little hair store shears to cut this. As you can see here, and once you get them cut, then that's all I did was just going with the flat iron and use a little bit of the Qi infusion oil just to get it straight, and then I'm gon na go in and cut it a Little bit more to actually frame my face a little bit better you so I'm going in now with the rain, so just to give it that wispier, you know cute little boy cut. You know that kind of vibe to it. Just so, it's thinner and it frames better and I'm also gon na be taking the shears. These are the hair, strong shears just to go in and point cut just a little bit. I already cut my real hair, so if it blends in already - and I don't have to recut that again so yeah you and honestly that was pretty much it. I went to sleep after this. I did this the night before and I just got it the next day and I bumped it so that you know it looks popping this [ __ ]

SIGNTEACH🤟🏽: I hope I don’t embarrass you or give you the wrong idea (I’m straight and married) when I tell you that you are absolutely STUNNING—no matter HOW you keep your hair! What a great video! I was looking for video help for cutting the back of my own hair (been doing it since college, but the years are creeping up on me, and I need a little courage). I found your video along the way, and I was completely captivated! How in the world did you learn all this?!? Are you a stylist? I’ve watched at least 10 other videos today, and none of them impressed me as much as yours. Do the style that makes YOU happy: short, long, relaxed, natural—whatever; at the end of the day, the person who stares you back in the mirror is you, and if you don’t like her, it doesn’t matter a lick what anyone else thinks. Thanks again for the great video, and best of luck and health to you!
