To start, you will come across the bottom of the hair and cut it. You will use trimmers to clean up the neck. To cut off the bob, you will cut the hair at 2 inches so that the hair will be able to stand up on its own. This haircut is perfect for anyone who needs a quick and easy hairstyle. The client in this video has work early in the morning, so this haircut is perfect for anyone who has early work and needs a quick and easy hairstyle that is still super cute. You will then use the point cut technique. To make it easy, you will want to cut it shorter. This haircut is perfect for cowlicks. It is a really good haircut for cowlicks in the back. It works with you instead of against you. You will want to cut tight and close near the ear. You will then hold the ear to the side and cut up there to get rid of the hair. To start off the front, you will cut straight across. This will help it stand straight up so it can be cute and spikey. On the side, you will cut and a 90 degree angle and then connect it to the top of the hair. You will want to use the point cut technique on the front of the hair. This will make the hair piecey. For the hair right in front of the ear, you will cut it at an angle. Then you will just take that corner off. the

To recap so far, this is one of our over 50 hairstyles. This is perfect for anyone who is a little bit older. This is a transformation from a short bob to a pixie haircut. This haircut is quick and easy to style and perfect for anyone who needs a fast hairstyle. This hairstyle is also perfect for anyone who has cowlicks in the back of their head. This haircut will be able to use those cowlicks to make the hair spikier. This haircut is for pretty much anyone and any type of hair! It is perfect for thin hair and for thick hair (make sure you use a ton of texture) fine and coarse hair as well.

For styling products, RaDona uses her “magic products” Monat. The products she uses are unique to your type of hair and haircut. For the products that RaDona will use for this haircut, will make sure that the thin, fine hair looks thick and full. The first product RaDona uses is the Monat’s Root Lifter. You will especially put it in the top and back so that it will give volume and help the hair in the back stand up. Then RaDona uses Monat’s Moose. (make sure you only use one pump. This moose is all natural and super concentrated. If you put in more than one pump, your hair will feel super heavy and have too much product in it.- one squirt is all you need). RaDona then uses Monat’s Thickening Spray. This spray will help make the hair look and feel thicker than it actually is. After adding these, you will start to blow dry her hair. After drying her hair, RaDona uses 2 drops of Monat’s Rejuvenique Oil. You will put it all over her hair to shine and condition her hair. Then RaDona uses Monat’s clay ( this is the perfect substitute for Distortion). This gives it more of a spike look and makes it thicker. This way you can manipulate the hair to how you want it.

You hi everyone. I am here with Lori and she is one of the funnest people. I know, and she did need a few filters on this. I will do a video as long as you use filters, so she is so stinkin cute but yeah. She needs no filters that she is a robot, but anyway I wanted to you betcha. I want just winging this funny haircut, so she she was a little longer. We cut it and now she's, like you know what I'm going for it. We want to go short. She started using my products and you had seen a difference already, but now going shorter, it's gon na be fun because she can really use those the styling products to help. So anyway, I'm really excited we're just gon na come across straight across this way, and then of course I just take my little trimmers and just clean up so just gon na clean up her neck and by the way worried, listen neat by where I live. She did end up going. She moved to st. George and now she's back, so we're glad for that, because she seriously is a blast and her grand her grand boys. I guess I should say, or always at my house. My boys are way good friends with her grandsons if they are right. Okay, so we want to go just like to that's about two inches. I mean everybody's inches are different right, but we just want this short enough that it's just gon na stand up when we go back and forth with it. Epic brush. Oh my gosh, this is gon na be fun Laurie. Are you pumped? Oh, you scared are y'all ready for no I'm ready for I'm so excited good, good, good, good. It'S so funny how I mean a haircut can totally change you. It'S weird I mean honestly it it can change the way you act. I know that's weird. That sounds weird, but it makes me feel so much better and and it can go both ways like say you get a cut. You don't love, you just don't feel as good. But if you do then oh my gosh, you feel like so so so much better. So - and I think this will be so easy right, it is yes and that's that's the other thing like easy and you're gon na work early right. Don'T you have any early yeah, so it'll be it'll, be good! You'Ll love it when you go to style it because it'll take two minutes like okay, maybe five, five minutes! Okay! So just go! You can kind of I'm not going right to the base of her head here, I'm holding it out a little bit, but I am going pretty tight okay, so this top. I just I couldn't cut into all this. I love to point cut because then it's not so formal, like a like just really straight. They just like to we cut to give it a little bit more movement so from this middle area. That'S when I start you know the angle to come down and, like I said I I'm just holding out a little bit from her head, so I'm not like touching it. So it's not exactly that that short, but it definitely is shorter cuz. We want easy. We just talked about easy. I have a calico, yes in fact, and that this and that I'm glad you said that. Thank you so much so. This kalak she's, like I, have a Calot back there, and actually this haircut for calyx back here is really good, because what we do is we we grab this and we pull it out anyway with product, so it actually is a really good cut for calyx. In the back, because it'll help you just stick it out, so it actually works in your favor on this cut, so that is a plus and then Lauri. When you try this, I mean that back is just gon na I mean it'll just stay down. You know what I mean: it'll, you don't even have to mess with it. Oh good! Yes, that's the best part. It just goes in its place in this way on that angle, like that all the people love working with you Lori, like that who you guys, if you could only know where Vinnie any of you are watching, you know Lori yeah, she's a hoot, and she just Had a grand, a great grand baby yeah, she doesn't look like she could do that, but she's a gorgeous little thing: Lachlan, lotsa, hair, okay, so I'm just gon na hold her ear down and come this way and just see. I just meant that there and then I'll leave that for just a minute and then give it come on this side and start cutting this. You know what's fun about this: lorry is going short like this you're gon na come see me a little more because just keep the cut up. Really it doesn't anymore, I'm not lying, I'm not kidding yeah see. I love that and we'll see you've been using it. How long memory yeah anyway, but it does and and it not only like, helps your hair grow, but it does help strengthen us. You don't lose as much hair and and that's fun that you cuz. I didn't even tell you that you know what I mean. I told ya that you would it would help girl when stuff, but I didn't tell you that so it's fun that you noticed that you're not losing as much hair. So yes, oh my gosh, this is so cute, like you can already see like that. Okay, point cut and then Julie. She got me this cute shirt. Her name is Julie and I seriously was so happy, I'm like oh my gosh scissors and love and yeah. I loved it. So thank you to me for my shoot, so squeeze Julie, a subscriber yeah. Oh so hopefully she watches the video yes Julie. Thank you. I love that okay, so same thing, just close here by this ear and this way and then I just hold our ear to the side and cut up that way. I hold their ear with my comb. Obviously, you can see that, oh, my gosh, I mean that's cute, like you could just let it dry. I mean know this yet, but just is so cute. Okay! No, this is what's gon na feel good. That'S gon na be off of your face. Yes, so that's gon na be so awesome. Okay! Here we go we're getting rid of all of this, and I just coming straight across you guys, because we want everything to stand up here. She just wants that fun and the spiky and and messy on the top. So just come straight across. I can't wait to see the before and after pictures. I know we have to post these. So are you gon na go and show the like Rachel when you're done? Oh yeah, okay, I see John good everybody pray for John yeah. Everybody he's sick and he is such a trooper. Oh goodness, gracious! Yes, so is Jan. They are awesome. They are so you can see I'm just paying to come in a 90 degree angle on this part, and then you, obviously you can see here's this part and there's the top. So you just connect that okay throw this out, and you definitely want to point cut into this part, because we want it really kind of PC around her face which we'll go back and do some more piecing out for sure it's just cute wet like you can Let it dry and just so cute, so you can see that I just I'm holding that by her ear and then I'm just gon na come on an angle. But after I've done this, then I like to pull this section out. You can see this top layer and the bottom, and you just take that corner off. Okay, then you can just comb this down. We'Re just gon na take a little bit more of the length right here by her ear doing good. We get excited all right. Okay, then, I always love to come this this way and just take that link there and come in this way and just clean the piece that out so kind of open and shut your shears softly. I'M not big chunks and just skip a little hair in between. So just take those little slices like that and then you'll be able to see that more like when we get the product in it you'll be able to see that it's pieced out more so so we're gon na hold this out. Take the lane and see how I pulled this layer over so I connect those did you tell your hubby is doing it. Oh yeah he's excited, oh good, that's fun, love it! Okay, so by the ear and then remember, I come down on that angle and you'll. Be able to tell you know if it's a little bit too long, it'll feel a little bulky there. You just hold it out and take a little bit more and the key to a haircut like this. You guys I've said it before lots of texture texture. Really, it makes a huge difference, so the Bane's I'm just coming in see I'm coming on an angle and I'm leaving pieces in between. So you can see that I like to skip a little bit of hair and that's to leave the longer hairs. I'M sorry I mean have to blow dry that off in just a second and just a little wink there, okay and then I'm just gon na hold this up. I always like to check from the bang area. If there's any bulk here, I like to or like the little triangle part like a little edge, I always like to take that off just because it helps it stand. So it's not so long in that front area. Okay, now the funny part of lips rice, texture right. I know right, it's honestly, you guys it is the best to have texture in your hair. When it's short, I mean long too, but it just it helps so much to give that body that it needs. So about a quarter of an inch to a half an inch from the scalp is where I start doing that, I'm going to just show you that's, and I use sake, sake FAK. I you know if you're wanting these are a little more expensive. If you're wanting some for just two like for home, I can get you a link for some of those, and I can even like FaceTime you and show you how to do it like. You can grab those and I can walk you through it because, honestly, that's what makes a haircut if you have a short cut and you're having a hard time having it stand, I can guarantee it's because you don't have the right, texture or right product to have It stand up, you know what I mean so definitely definitely get some texture in there. What kind are they? These are sake? Sorry, I know, I know see how funny she is. No, that is great, nobody's getting sick up in here. Don'T I do feel bad for whoever has it. We both do. Okay, so I like to do this see if it stands up. If it stands up, you know you're, you're, feeling pretty good about. It seems like there's both here, so I'm gon na take a little bit off of there and if it's still kind of plops you'll want to do a little bit more texture, but I think we're good. I mean I'm gon na drive here. First, before you do more texture, because you can always always drain or texturize on dry hair. So if we feel like we need more: okay, okay, the your root, lifter, okay, same thing, you're, just gon na spray it up here! Oh sorry, I just opened a new anything you're, just gon na spray it up in the top okay and then once you do that we're just gon na rub it in so it gets in those roots. That'S gon na give it a base, and if you see me before, you can use that the next day, I'm trying here you just have to eat, activate it now, the boxing I define this one squirt, that's it just shake it good, rub it in your hands. Really good, it's very concentrated. This is really good to give volume also to your hair. Now I have that too right. Yes, okay, you have perfect yep. In fact, I think I think you have it everything you might need the clay. I'M not sure I can't remember. Do you have the clave to dice it? I don't think we did the. I don't mean because it was a short yeah right, we'll get you some before you leave okay, perfect, because if you want it, that's that's gon na make it mm-hmm. Okay, now just couple tiny little squirts of the thickening spray. Okay, this close right here Laurie was just talking to me about hitting the road, and this was my favorite. If the battle of pro it, I mean, I do here not every day so really here, for you guys to get things if you need it, okay, so where you feel that it's about eighty percent dry see how it's still a little down, I put it out Dry so late, when of this you're gon na, take the epic brush and we're going to go back and forth and the clip that drives up really fast and drive to like I'm kind of dragging a little forward. You know what I mean just let you know that too thinking with the brush, you guys there's a link below if you need an epic brush. Okay, you know the oil, I always love the oil and it's not heavy. I just do two little drops rub it in this makes it super shiny and conditions like static. Your little fly ways it's really good for that, too. All right now, the clay so you're, just gon na take your fingertip and just do a little thing. So, that's all you need okay, and then you just rub it in your hands, really good and then what you're gon na do is you're. Just gon na come up and you're gon na like grab the hair and honestly, if you wanted to just dry it like you had it, I mean it was so cute soft I mean she could just dry it and be done, and so, if there's a day That you don't want to put stuff in it and have it you know I'll pieced out and stuff. It can be soft and cute too. So that's not fun. Yeah, oh okay, Laurie, okay, the front Laurie just come through here, just just grab. Okay turn it piece. Those out, okay, pinnacle, welcome, just end down and out. This will help it stand up and state, and then I love to spray it before I kind of put it back down and I'll show you what I mean by that also in down and out a little C shape, just not like up and down. You know what I mean, because that will just take out the oh they're back combing that you've done okay, so I like to spray like that, and then you can just gon na pull this out and then kind of place it with your fingers. Okay, now I have to come and see it from the front because I missed like starting it from the back, so probably be good at fixing up from the front. Okay, you are amazing. I do love it like doom. I do 22 years of it like I'm still like obsessed, hey now, I'm just this hairspray is amazing because it holds it's not sticky, and if you travel, there's a walk, you can mock it, there's a heavy spray and there's a white spray. You just twist it so anyway, that's a cool cool feature. Okay, oh you cut the grace out, drew yes good! You look amazing, amazing. So anyway, this is amazing, so you're you're amazing. Thank you. I'M glad that she trusts me lets me. Do it it's really fun. So you guys have a great day. Thank you. So much for your support and your watching and and all of that go ahead and jump on my email list. It'S below also can be entered into drawings and get free tips of the week. They send out emails. A couple times a week, so thanks so much and have a good day, see ya. You

Joyce Pendleton: I absolutely Love this! Thank you for sharing. I sent this video to myself to show my hairdresser to see if she can do this for me. I have very fine and thin hair, so we will see! I love the part where you can blow dry it and be done. Only my hair is not as thick as your clients.

E Marie: I absolutely love the cut I went from a bob cut about three years ago to a pixie and I will never go back I absolutely enjoy it it’s so easy to maintain

Mary Nielson: Would love to see your short cuts just left ‘soft’ - no sticky-out bits. Your cutting style is simple but the end result looks amazing!

And was thinking how is she able to pull this off in 26 minutes? In any case, love love love the final result. bellas buggybags: I love the way you texture the hair. You always make me want to get my scissors and shaver out after I watch you. stay safe. Xx from UK.

Cynthia Richter: Love the way you cut her hair around her face. My hairdresser won't use the texture on my hair; she says my hair is too fine and thin, but she does a good cut every time for me. Take care.

Jennifer Lee: She looks great--this haircut could be my new favorite. Thanks so much for filming her for your self quarantined fan in Washington, DC. What a way to spend the afternoon-all the hair and nail salons are closed. I think I should have been a hair stylist so fun to see the transformations!!

Dawn Wells: THANK YOU SO MUCH for the education! Would you please show an under cut pixie!! I’d like to learn how to blend the back of my hair to my buzz cut. Thanks. LOVE your cuts!

Оксана Самарина: Мне очень нравится как вы стрежете, так легко, быстро

Dawn Toich: Adorable so many ways to wear it. Great job as always

Susan Moline: beautiful haircut - looks great on her! I just have my license a year this month. I watch tons of videos. I understand but when I go to do a cut on a mannequin, I lose it. I get confused on connecting the front to the back, etc. and cutting around the ear. Mannequins are not the best to use because you can't move the ear, etc. It's so frustrating I feel like I'm never going to get it!

KatsView: PS…what brand of blow dryer do you use? Thank you!

Linda Ennor: Love the new hairstyle- great job!

3rdgen Sarah: It's really nice, and it suits her so much.

Maureen Lucas: I love this! How do I get on your email list? I like a pixie cut. My stylist is still closed. So I have been cutting my own hair. My issue is I have wavy/curly hair. When I 1st cut it I had taken off about 5 inches. LOL My hair grows fast. I would love & appreciate any advice for me with wavy/curly hair. Oh, what is that brush?! And the products as well. Thank you! Love all your videos!

valerie kelly: Love you girls - pixie cuts are sooo liberating - she looks amazing x

Jackie Siebrass: She knows how to cut and style...fantastic talented Hairdresser....wish I could get my hair cut and styled by her....too far away...

Yullys Cabrera: Me encantan tus trabajos !!

Pam King: I like to watch, our hair salons are all closed and we need our hair done!! I’ve been snipping mine here and there I like this one when it was blow dried and soft it looks good

Suchef: Wow such a great hairstyle. It took years off her! I need a haircut! Thanks for sharing. How do I know which products to get for my hair.? Partially gray and it's coarse the gray that is, fine and thinning, lacks volume and has a slight wave in the front. I have a bob now but I'm debating about going short around my face. Since I have the wave in the front, the slightest bit of humidity makes it curl up and get frizzy looking. I would love any suggestions. Thanks!

Margie Tant: Wow that's so pretty, she looks Awesome, and because you love what you do that's why you are fantastic at it.

April Wilcher: She is adorable! That style is perfect for her. Great job.

Margaret Webb: Hello, I'm interested in getting some texturizing scissors and knowing how to use them at home. I have a short pixie and sometimes it gets heavy on top. Could you do a tutorial and show how to use them? And, a link of some you recommend would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Valzee002: Did you get a new camera?  This is really clear and good quality!  Love it!

Rosemary Walsh: Love it! Cute!

Fionnuala Murphy: Greetings from Ireland. Stuck in the house, no hairdressers open,so I just cut my own hair! Its shorter than that. No 4 blade to the back and short spiky layers on top. Borrowed my son's styling gel wax stuff. I'm very pleased. But I could do with that thinning scissors. Great tutorials

Kesgen 7154: So happy I watched this! This is my favorite cut and I really needed a Product to replace Distortion.

Sheila Johnson: My daughter cuts my hair exactly that style. The problem is, she has five kids and it’s hard for her to find time to cut it as often as I’d like.

Joy Ellis: Love this cut!

Beth Carter: I have quite a bit of fine but natural curly hair. I would love a funky short cut with spikes but it doesn’t lay right & takes a long of time to straighten & style. I don’t want a short cut that looks like a 1970’s perm. Any ideas? You’re so fun & encouraging & Lori’s hair looks great!

Debra W.: Such a beautiful woman. The short cut makes her face glow. I’m not a spiky person therefore I really liked the soft style.

Jennie Frank: Did you use to work in a salon in Provo/Orem in the '80s? If so, I think you were my hairstylist. I've not found anyone as talented as you since!

JEMIMA BROWN: Wow I totally love this cut she is so pretty !!!!. Hairdressers in the UK have shut down boo hoo!! I fear I will have to cut my own hair eek. I have cut my partners hair ok think I could cut my hair could only do the front but not the back. My hair is just a bit longer than this. Wish me well love from Scotland xx

Kimberly Walker: I agree with Jane! I would fly to Utah and have you cut my hair! One expensive hair do! But worth it! ❤️

Joan Veit: Love that hair cut,,,wish I lived near you,,you work magic

Tina Harrison: I have two cawl licks at the middle crown and two right the middle of the front but I adore having short hair. This from an 80’s high school grad, really! Can I still have the 80’s flair? Oh and by the way, I have gray showing and I love it . I have some all over. It started showing in my 30’s when I had to start on many supplements and medications. I started into peri menopause. I live in a nursing home but want to look like I shouldn’t.

Catherine Byrne: Real great cut love the brush you used

Diane D: Would love you to be my hairdresser. Your enthusiasm is so cute. Her hair looks great!

Kelly Ingalls: Beautiful!!

Linda S. Martin: the cut is really cute, however I could never put so much product in my hair, and would ask for a style where my natural hair would be good without five different kinds of product.

Mary Kyser: What is the Shampoo that you recommended for Lori (Bob to Pixie)? Thanks

Judy Mielcarek: So cute on this lady. Would love information on texturizing scissors.

Lisa Herrera: What products do you use? And is their any of the kind you use at a cheaper price?

Ginger Griffin: I love watching you cut and create but there’s too many products and too much styling. Try something that doesn’t take so many products and can stand on the cut alone!

Rebecca Myrick: Can you get a cut like this if you have naturally curly/ wavy hair ?

Elizabeth Meacham: What kind of cutting combs do you use .... please and thank you

Nancy Rattigan: Took 10 years off. Looks great.

Regina Key: Love this cut

CAESAR20071: Where can I get that comb/brush you use to blow dry the hair?

Valerie Cardwell: Is there another teasing comb you like ? Amazon is out of this one and dont know if they will get any more. Thanks!

KATHERINE HYMAN: Ra dona, love your videos. Can I have the name of the hairspray u use and where I can get that and the clay. Thanks

Susan Miller: Does Lori have fairly thick hair? I have fine hair so not sure this would work for me but I love it!

Mandi Coleman: Now that's a granny with style!!! She looks awesome

Jane Johnson: If I had a million dollars I would fly you over to Scotland to cut my hair - You are such a talented Lady

Kelly Lawrence: Does those saki scissors for texture also thin out your hair. ?

Shavonne Shadd: That looks great

Vickie Copeland: So cute on her! You are so good!!!

glitterchi glam: I used to be a hairstylist for a prestigious salon and if I put a cut out like this I’d be fired instantly. Not only was her cutting skills messy but she didn’t even consider her face shape. She has an oblong face and the cut made it look even more so. Plus her front fri he is way too short. This lady looks ridiculous

larabettynina: I follow you from Rome - Italy. You are so funny when cut hair! I love you!
