Growing Out A Pixie Cut - To Longer Bangs Pixie Haircut Hairstyles

Hi everyone i'm rodona from boys and girls hairstyles today i have carrie with me and i'm really excited to show you her haircut um first off she's gorgeous, so that helps the haircut but um. This haircut is really fun. We do a number four on the back here uh. She she just likes this tight, so the number four gets it tight, but not like extremely short um, and then i'm gon na show you on the top and the sides how um we're gon na grow. It a little bit she's had it pretty short. We did one other video on her haircut um when we went really short um, so you'll be able to see you know the difference in and what we are doing, but so we go to about here on the top of her ear with the number four and Then um through this top, what we're going to do is grow this out and kind of her sides. So this back part we're obviously going to take a little bit off um and i'll. Show you like up front what we're going to do in a minute, but i'm going to bring this kind of tight through here to connect with with this and then of course, i'll i'll blend that nicely in a minute too so yeah, you can see that i'm Just taking this back and connecting it from this and then i'll blend that here in just a minute doing good carrie yep, all righty, it was so sweet. She was her appointment was really supposed to be tomorrow, but i really really really wanted to videotape it. So i'm like hey, can you come the next day? I'M like it's always easier when your hair stylist, you know, calls to have you come and date early, but when you call for you know to have your client come a day late. I was like. Oh sorry, i said her appointment was tomorrow. It was yesterday. Oh, it was yesterday yeah, not tomorrow, sorry, so that's what i meant all right. So her appointment was yesterday and i had her come today instead, because i really wanted to videotape this haircut because it is so darn cute and i think a lot of you will just love it um. So you can see i'm just taking from that. Really short part up here to connect this area, okay and then what i like to do is take and just kind of blend this in a little bit back here i mean it blends when you cut it short, obviously next to it, but this just gets it A little bit more, even so, you can see i'm just taking the comb and the little buzzer and the trimmer and just kind of going up. Okay, sweet all right and then we're going to come to the top. Now, like i said, we're going to kind of grow this out, so we're just going to come through here and just trim. This up just a little bit point cut into it, but don't take a lot of length because she's obviously growing it. So just point cut and trim, and it's so cute like after it's styled, you guys will see um we do like to do. A lot of texturing carries hair um. She has a lot of it, but it's fine, and so the texture really helps it. Doesn'T it carry yep? If not it's just you know too much it just kind of has too much hair, yes, too much hair. So, of course, i'm just bringing this in by her ear trimming. It then, because you still want it up above your ear here right. Okay, so all of this we're growing, but we do want to keep this short and above the ear kind of cut into that, make it piecey, and then i'm going to do this with the buzzer here in a second just behind the ear. Okay, now this side same thing, she's, just growing the sides just a little bit longer. So what we're going to do is just take and point cut and just trim this in to her sides, and she has natural color for the last couple years. So she's super blessed that way such a pretty color and you guys will see that when we blow dry also, so i'm just taking this by her ear and then, of course, just come in here piece this out. She likes it just really wispy and pc, and you can see how this is long right here, so i'm just gon na hold that hair together take that corner off. Okay, all right now. What we'll do is take the trimmers back here and clean this up. Isn'T this the best carry the feeling of just having it all nice and clean because it starts curling and being weird yeah exactly gets in the way? Huh? Okay! So this right here, i'm just gon na hold this out, so we can get this nice and clean. So it's clean behind her ear and short. That'S what's really cute about this cut too is this is all nice and short, and then when this is longer coming up through her front, it's just so darn cute, so you just bring this a little bit tighter through her side area, so she doesn't have to Deal with that poking out, don't like that! I'M carrying okay just take a little corner off here. Then, of course, again i'm going to hold this out, so we can take that tight and close okay and go to the ear here there we go and then just take this a little bit tighter on the sides so yeah anyway. Carrie. Thank you for coming today. Instead of yesterday super super nice all right now, texture um, i like to come through the areas where we've blended, so you can see it will blend it. If there's any little spot that doesn't look blended, these uh texturizing sheers will definitely blend that. So i always like to do that and then of course, this top we're going to texture because she has a lot of it. Um, like i said it's more fine, but she has a ton, so she definitely needs it seems like people even more than like thick hair because they have enough to like hold it up. The texture of this, it just seems like you, need more texture when your hair is fine and you have a lot of it, that's how my sister's is, and i'm always always um texturizing hers, a ton. Now, i'm going to chunk this out. These are with the the texturizing shears that are more chunky and i'm just doing that kind of towards the front, and then i will come through with the shears up front and piece this out. So i'm going to come on an angle. Sorry here on your nose. Okay, so after i piece that out, i'm just taking these little ends off: okay, sweet now, the fun part we get to style it so and then, obviously, if after we style it and there's something that needs to be cut, we definitely will do that. So we love the root lifter in here and the mousse to give it volume and a little bit of the thickening spray on the top okay sweet. Now the sides in the back you're just gon na dry down yeah. This is the best part about having short hair, because we don't sit and dry forever. You guys, thank you so much for supporting me and watching my videos. You guys are awesome. So i'm going back and forth with my fingers and then i love the epic brush to go back and forth. That gives it body plus it helps dry. It faster okay, now usually with carrie. When we get done, we usually have to texture more over here. Don'T we carry because it just gets bulky so looks like we need to do a little bit of that, so we'll take a little bit of this off through these sides, just texture it. So it's not too bulky feeling better. Okay: okay: two drops of oil love to run this through, like she has perfect hair for this cut, perfect, perfect, okay and then a tiny bit of the clay just to kind of piece the front out, and so it shows the wispiness of this haircut and then, If we feel like, we need more, i'm going to turn her to the mirror. So if we feel like we need more pieciness, does that feel like it's missing out enough yeah that'll be cute, though we can just keep growing that and have that a little longer. That'S cute, i mean she has the perfect cowlick in the back um. You know a lot of people don't ever call it. Cowlick perfect carries cowlick is perfect. It just goes for this haircut, so i'm going to turn her around. So you guys can see how cute this is: it's just soft and flowy, but piecy, okay, carrie! Thank you so so much.
