How I Style My Grown Out Pixie | Braid & Waves

I have been getting so many comments and DMS and all the things about how I have been doing my hair lately, it's super simple. It'S super easy, especially with this like grown out like mop of a pixie which, by the way everyone's like asking me if I'm gon na go back to a pixie, I don't know I it my mind, changes constantly. I probably I'm never gon na go as short as, like my really short pixie. I may go back to like that pixie Bob, which is actually I'm really not far off from that now, but I'm also kind of tempted. I was watching Twilight. No, I was watching it clips and Alice. Has this like real cute, like Bop? That'S like a little bit longer than what I have now so that was like her intense bow, but just ask my girl Diana it literally changes every other day. So, by the time I get to my haircut in a couple weeks, it could be totally different. However, let's just get to it. This is how I've been doing my hair today. Of course, I'll show you all the products that I'm using the tools that I'm using it's like, really nothing super earth-shattering and, as with all of my hair tutorials, it's like not super precise. I think it probably ends up looking a little bit different every single day, but this is the basic like gist of what I've been doing and truly I mean this really would work on any length of hair. I mean I was doing this to my hair when it was a little bit shorter than this, but you could also do this with a bob. You could do this with long hair, honestly, I'm probably a little bit longer, but that's the work, so I'm Shorthair all right. I'M gon na stop talking and we're just gon na get to styling yeah I've been starting out with this Armco sandcastle. It is a dry texture cream that I just used to get a little bit of extra grit in these front bangs this huge French chunk. I have here that I've been braiding back and my hair is so slippery, so this just helps keep this braid in place. All day, long, sometimes for a few days, depending on how well I go between washes, so I'm just gon na be taking a small section of my hair. Clearly, I'm not like measuring or parting anything off. I just kind of grab some hair. The beauty of this hairstyle is that it's so quick and easy, so I just grab a little chunk and then I do your basic Dutch braid, which, for those of you who don't know it's a French braid, that's kind of inside-out or upside-down. So, instead of grabbing pieces and sections and going over your other sections, you're actually taking them under and then I just kind of braid until I get to about my temple area and then I will put two bobby pins in there. You definitely could do some fun. Fancy Clips, but this has just kind of been my go-to and let's be real, I'm not really seeing anybody so no need to be fancy over here then. I am just gon na take my bed head. This is like a teeny, tiny, probably half inch pixie iron. I will have it linked down below, but I have been loving this for my shorter hair. It was a game changer. My hair is actually now to the point where it's long enough, but I could probably swap back, but I really like it and from there I'm just gon na be grabbing sections and kind of give it. My hair, a little bit of a wave you'll, see that I sort of alternate every once in a while just to kind of spice things up, but for the most part I kind of divide my head in half and curl away from my face. I pay much more attention to the pieces on top and less to the pieces that are underneath that I hope to soon have chopped off and be part of. My undercut definitely can wear this style like down, but because I have been tucking it behind my ears. A lot I need to make sure that those pieces in front are straight and aren't gon na like loop out weird, and then I just like to hit it with a little bit of this Arco sail it's a soft wave spray, it's kind of like a safe, Salty type of spray, I really have been enjoying it again just to give my superfine slipper hair a little bit of grit and texture, and that's pretty much it.
