6/20/13 UPDATE! How I style my (now) long pixie! A messy ponytail! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81KDeRm...

Hi everyone, so I'm here for a 5/5 bike. That'S a good start! A very highly requested video, I'm here to film I'm here to talk to you guys about growing out your pixie cut. This is probably not a video that all of you guys can use right. Now, unuseful later, maybe because I think everyone should cut their hair short, at least once and maybe not everyone but um most people should cut their hair short, at least once maybe you can just take in these tips or listen for future reference. I'M growing out my pixie now been 2 weeks since my last cut, which is not long at all, but my hair was like up here, so it's grown that much so that's cool. I have grown out my hair many times before pad my Pacey cat for a while I've grown it out a few times and um. I have some tips, so I guess just sharing some stuff with you guys. The first thing that I want to say is: don't worry about it. Um, I feel like a lot of people are scared to cut their hair and Pixies or if they have a pixie they're scared to grow it out because they, like don't know what they're growing out process is going to be. Because I mean a lot of people. Talk about how terrible it is, and there are some bad moments, but it's nothing that, like a bobby pin, can't fix it's really. It'S not that bad, and you also have to remember that growing out of pixie cut does not take like years growing out your hair. Really long does but growing out a pixie cut just to a bob or something you know semi kind of long where you can put it up. Maybe a small ponytail or something really only takes about 4 to 5 coming up for 5 months, maybe out like five months or something like that from my pixie cuts. It usually takes like four months or something to be a really short bob and then six months. It was here and then you can see how the videos a year is usually right here. Time flies. Okay, so don't worry about that! Don'T worry about growing it out! It'S really not that bad. Another thing would be to resist the urge to chop it off again when it gets tough and be prepared to want to chop it off. It'S not terrible, but it's also not the most enjoyable thing, because you have those bad days where you're like. Oh, I feel so gross it's weird, because your hair isn't long where you want it to be, probably since you're going in out and your hair isn't at that really cute, probably cute short, hair stage. It'S just short hair. You are gon na want to just chop it all off and give up, probably most of you guys if you're growing it out will want to chop it off it. I usually do, but there's been a few times where actually stuck in there and didn't, and you just have to hang in there tip number two would be to watch that mullet some girls, let their hair grow, let that mullet grow out because they like absolutely like Do not want to cut any more hair off, and maybe they like the feeling of a hole, my hair's getting long, which it is, but it's only getting really long or really fast in that bottom back part, I've seen a few people like work with it and Not chop it off, but I highly recommend getting regular cuts. Just for that part. If you want it to stay huge, you can work with it. I guess if you want to grow them, o it out and like pin this back, so it just looks like it's a pin tear than this is long here, but it's a lot easier. If you just go in and just get that part cut off every time, then I grow my hair out. I go in for regular cuts, probably like two weeks longer. I don't even really count, but I think I read somewhere that you go like for pixie cuts. You go in like every six weeks to get a trim go two weeks past that I don't know. I usually just don't go in until I'm like okay, this mole is out of control. You will know when that time come trust me when you get that mullet. It will start flipping and once you get that flip and it looks different it'll just you'll just know, it looks gruff. If you keep that back and check, keep that mullet in check. It won't really even look like to an outside person that you're growing at a pixie cut it'll, just look like you're, just you just have short hair and then eventually short hair, short hair, it'll get to a bob, and that takes about four to five months. I think four months I think usually for me it takes to be a very short bob. So really just please just do that. So I go in for my trims. Whenever I have a out of control mullet and all I do is chop the mullet off. I don't cut the front, I don't cut the sides. Only the back, another tip would be when you're growing and out just growing out the pixie cut just think about getting to the Bob. Once you get to the Bob, you are good to go. Okay, so that's why I say: keep cutting the back, because this goes faster and that this starts growing out and then it meets up with that bottom half and then your hair, or at least the bottom layer, is all one length and then you can grow it Out - and you cannot go and get your hair cut for months and months until you're at the Bob just try not to even think about how your hair isn't like down to your boobs just aim for the bob. The bob is what you want, then you're good, and also once you get to a short bob, that's when you can curl it and start doing fun things so just look forward to the bob and when you get to a bob haircut enjoy it it's one of My favorite haircuts it's fun and it's still short, so it's still kind of different. It'S just it's great! So that's something you should be looking forward to enjoy the hair styles or the hair lengths that come while growing out your hair. Okay, just enjoy them work with them. I would also recommend taking advantage of that semi short kind of awkward hair length or whatever just know that it's not gon na look a hundred percent as you're growing out your pixie. It'S not going to look terrible, it shouldn't at least, but it's not going to be the cutest. Your hair has ever looked just accept that and what I usually do is I take advantage of that time where no matter what I do, it's not going to look amazing, so I usually try not to use like heat freely. I definitely do not like straighten my hair at all. I blow-dry it very little if, at all like, I didn't blow dry, my hair at all, and I probably won't for a while keep your hair healthy, and I feel like when your hair short and, if you're, trying to work with it and flatiron it uh girls You'Ll get like mad with your hair and then you really come on stay, and then you will fry your hair trying to make it look great. It'S just it's not gon na look great so just like try and play around with not using as much heat or any heat at all and moving on to the next thing, since you shouldn't be using heat, hair accessories. Everyone should know this if you've done a little bit of research. Hair accessories. Are your love when you're growing out your pixie cut okay little head scarves, little headbands head, wraps um bobby pins, pretty pins, putting it behind your ears a little bit of gel. I don't just lick it back or something uh hats hoods any of the above anything hair accessories. You will love them. Okay, the part, that's awkward about the pixie cut. Is the sides around your ears this. These two portions are here that takes forever to grow. You'Ll be like oh, my hair, is this part like even these top layers will be long back here in these parts like grow, so slow, it's incredible how slow they grow. I don't know why. I think it's because you know they cut it really really short. Above your ear to kind of taper it around your ear, I don't know, but that's the awful, a terrible, awful headbands you can kind of just push those little hairs back, and so it blends in with this longer part and it'll. Look like a bob within like three months. If you use the hair accessories, push those parts back or you can use a little bobby pin or if you can't put it behind your ears and it'll blend into this long part and you'll have a fake bob within. Like three to four months, that's what I always do, sometimes I'll wear a hat or like a big head scarf or something for like a whole week and like I won't do anything to my hair. I won't touch it like I'll get out of the shower and then I'll put it in a hat or I'll put it in a scarf or whatever, and then it's kind of fun to then take it off like a week later and shower. Well, I mean you should be showering in between, but take it off and then stop wearing it for a little bit, and you give you like. Oh, my hair grew a little bit in that week and you won't notice because it was tied up in the scarf or the headband or the hat for a whole week or something I know because you weren't focusing on it. So uh yeah, I don't know accessories. Yeah and you can never go wrong with the twist and pin with a bobby pin if you're having problems with the little size if you want to switch it off into a middle part, but you know, obviously this part is short. All you do is, do the middle part, okay, middle part and then twist and then pin back and you have something kind of new whatever. I did a little twist and pin a lot, especially when I wear hats um, because then, when you do the middle part and you pin it back and then put it in a hat, it almost looks like you have like a lot of hair just tucked in The Hat, because you have a middle part and with short short hair, you won't have a middle part, so it kind of looks different play with the parts play with hats, because then you can hide it and just do like a little thing in the front, like Sometimes old but my hair was longer. You know, like my celebrity crush tag, I took the little longer parts of hair and I put them in front and it looks like you have longer hair, so that's kind of fun too. I guess another thing: while you are growing out your hair and we've talked about that, you've now accepted the fact that your hair isn't going to look 100 % again, it's not going look bad, it's just not going to look like awesome, or maybe it will. I don't know it's just really, not that bad anyways um focus on other things. Try try try to have patience and try to just forget that you're growing your hair out enjoy whatever length it is at that time get excited that it's grown a little bit since last month, whatever and focus on other things like I usually take more time with My makeup, when I'm growing on my hair or trying to find a different style, that's gon na go with my new hair length. You know things like that, I'm to find other things to focus on for me. That'S usually my makeup or style. I think it's fun to kind of like change your style, because you know a new haircut or new hair like this coming up and like I'm getting healthier because I'm thinking about and I'm visualizing this end result that's gon na be hopefully me with longer hair. I'M gon na be also more healthy, I'm gon na be fit and I'm gon na have cool style and I'm gon na find a new makeup. Look, you know just think positive, another thing for positivity or whatever and staying in the zone and staying strong um. I really like to you guys are probably sent on Instagram, like that. I do I'm really into like vision, boards and visualizing what you want and being positive or whatever, but at main point is vision boards, and I like seeing thing so I will print out usually a few pictures of like hairstyles that I like so maybe like a Short Q, Bob I'll be like yeah and that's gon na be that in four months whatever and then once I get there I'll keep it up a little bit and then I can take it out or leave it up whatever and then go to my next picture, Which is it maybe like right here like on collarbones? I still haven't found these pictures. I'Ve really only found the long end result pictures and then you know another picture where you eventually want it to be just to kind of give you like a few goals and a few things to look forward to not just a girl with really long hair. Don'T get so obsessed with growing out your hair, going to have long hair that you forget about all the cute styles you're going to have a the way. I think a lot of you guys have asked me if I take like if I do like hair treatments or things like that um I don't do. Hair treatments usually like I said I try not to use the heat and maybe I'll go like one extra day without washing it or something just to keep it healthy and get all the oils all in there and just not dry out my hair things like that. I take good care of my hair while I'm growing it out. I haven't done this in the past, but I started taking prenatal vitamins, prenatal, gummy vitamins. I just decided to try it out we'll see if those work you guys will see in my videos. If my hair looks like it's growing really fast, we'll just say it's the prenatal vitamins, I don't know, I mean it, wouldn't hurt to go and get some prenatal vitamins of the little gummies uh. You know extra vitamins and if it helps your hair grow, then great. I think that's all my tips. To sum it up, keep that mullet in check. Keep your hair healthy, try to use less heat if you can hair accessories, best, friends, patience and positivity and set goals for your hair. Don'T get you like overwhelmed? It'S really not that big of a deal you're only growing out your pixie for like four months and then it's a bot, don't think about you're super short hair to hear no think about getting your pixie cut to a bob and your bob to your collarbones and Whatever do those of you who have never had a pixie cut before, don't worry about growing it out, like I said it's not a big deal. If you get it cut off, you can grow it out, like don't be scared of a pixie cut. Mixie cut. Is your friend if you're a pixie cut growing out your pixie cut journey does not go as smoothly as mine usually does remember you can always okay once you get your hair to that, bob can get cheap little or whatever clip in extensions. Your hair is growing as we speak. It'S no biggie. I hope this helps me you guys if you have any questions that I did not answer, leave them down below. If I get a few questions that I feel like I can talk about for awhile I'll. Do a part two to this video, where I answer your questions. So, if you guys have any further questions about growing out, your pixie cut, leave them down below I'll answer them in a video thanks for watching guys and I'll see you next time. I

Coopdizzle: I lost my hair to chemo and growing my hair back is rough. This was full of useful info.

68HaloGurl: I am so happy to see this! I have had my pixie cute for six years and I just decided to grow out my hair. I was really nervous about growing it out but I really wanted to start a new chapter in my style. Thank you so much for this video it has really made me less nervous and excited. :D Btw you are gorgeous and your makeup is phenomenal!

Mariam Sheikh: i really appreciate your honesty in this video. thank you so much for the reassurance and wonderful tips. i completely relate to everything you said, and love your advice.

BrigitteLynley: This made me feel a lot better. Thank you so much. I recently cut my hair off after growing it out of my previous pixie. I was dreading growing it out again... UNTIL NOW! Thanks again :)

Kim N: The pixie cut looks great on you. It's been two months since my last haircut and I'm sort of growing it out. I've had the pixie for about two years or so and absolutely love it, but I think I want to grow it back to a bob to change things up. There are times when I feel like I want to keep it a pixie. Great tips btw. You are very positive :)

amirameki: Good luck! Stay strong. :) I had the side of my hair shaved so I'm kinda growing it out from a buzz cut since I have to wait for that side to catch up. Haha. You got this! x

tatianaridesapegusus: I had a bob, LOVED it, it was the only hair cut (aside from total shaved) I've never had before and it was THE perfect cut for me. I have straight hair and I'm in beauty school and when we were learning perms I volunteered to be a model for it. I hated the perm and decided to cut my hair super short and then permed it straight after that. Now I'm stuck with a pixie (second time for me) and I cannot WAIT to get back to the bob. It's been 2 months, I'm so excited I can't wait until January to see where my hair is at by then. This video really helps, I have always been terrible with accessories but I definitely gotta get into the groove of that.

Vanna Bayer: Thank you so so so much for making this video! I though I was a give-upper and everyone told me I failed when I cut the back, but now I know it is just apart of the process. Your tips will really help me, even if I am not sure about growing out right now.

Anahi Tejeda: I'm growing out my pixie and it's been about three months and I'm so tempted to cut it, but this video helped so much! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

olivia thomas: OH. MY. GOODNESS... I set up my hair appointment to chop my hair off for tomorrow because I felt like I couldn't take it anymore, but this video definitely reassured me and gave me that push to keep going lol. This isn't my first time growing out a pixie cut but for some reason this time feels harder than before. Thanks love for the video, I really appreciate it!

chic4life54: This helped so much! I cut my hair off three days ago for a charity that's makes wigs, and I'm just not happy with it, but now I will try to embrace it while I can and look forward to my new style!! thank you :)

Charlene Zalduondo: Thank you so much! I have a pixie and I was really scared of growing it out, but now I'm definitely doing it! And by the way, you're stunning. :)

Liz Acevedo: Your video is motivational. I've been wanting to chop my hair off so bad. But imma just stick to what I have right now

joiedevivre90: hahaha "It's nothing a bobby pin can't fix" that's great! you make it simple! or at least sound simple! I'm growing my pixie cut out now--starting last week or so. I've never done it before and I've only had a pixie cut for the first time in my life starting last august. Wish me luck, Jeorgia!!!! Thanks for the awesome video!!!! You're really great at this.

Nena: hey, i love your vid! you said that a pixie will grow into a very short bob in about four months, but that really depends on how short your pixie was at the beginning. mine was quite short and now (after five months), the top is just starting to reach the nape of my neck, but it isn't a short bob, by far not. the hair around my ears is still quite short. gentle reminder that this really depends on how short you cut your hair!

hannahsvideoplaylist: The first time I grew out my pixie, it was a breeze. It took 6/7 months to grow from a pixie to a couple of inches below my shoulders. I didn't know what all the fuss was about as I did nothing to my hair until the six month mark where I had it professionally cut and styled. However, I'm six weeks into growing another pixie cut out, and I've realised that in the past 12 years, my hair growth has slowed WAAAAAY down. Going to be a longer ride this time!

Nakia Sibley: I watched this video for the first time about a year ago when I decided to grow out my pixie and now it's to my shoulders but even now I still get frustrated with the length when I feel like it's taking forever so I like to watch this as a reminder of where I started off at. So thanks!!

amirameki: I love the Audrey Tautou bob look! & Edie's pixie is killer as well. Lovely style choices! :) Same here. Haha thank you!!!! xx

Jackie Nille: I've had my pixie cut for about 3 years and you've hit all the right spots. Yes, well done, yes.

Danielle Mccullough: Your videos help so much I don't think you understand! I was forced to cut my 22 inch long hair that I've always had because of a bad dye job. Thank you so much this gives me hope<3

amirameki: Yay! You're so welcome! Glad you found it helpful!! xx Good luck!! <3

Beth Buckley: I'm also growing out my pixie. Really nice video, good tips about the accessories. Also, thanks for having a plan for your video--so many "tips and tricks" videos are narrated by girls who say "ummm" every five seconds. Thanks for being organized and helpful and cute!

Kirsty D: Love your hair you're so pretty it really suits you :) , I want to cut my hair into a pixie cut from shoulder length but I am so nervous about doing it! Scared it wouldn't suit me Lol! Also what is the brand and colour of your lipstick its gorgeous! xx

rocioookds: You're beautiful, and definitely boosted up my 'patience' in growing out my pixie. It's actually almost at a bob, but since I like change, not being able to do much to it can get frustrating. And then that's where I have to try my hardest in fighting the urge of chopping it all off. Again, You're one beautiful gal :D

Kinz Marie: Re-watching you pixie growing out videos so I can pretend mines growing back super fast.

Kaela Smithy: Can you please do videos along your growing out journey on different styles to get you through each length period? That would be so fantastic

Irma Nyb: THANK YOU for this video, you're the first that makes a video so detailed and inspiring.I'm growing out my pixie but before I decided to dye my hair from balck to blonde xDDD they're a bit damaged but I'm working on it ;) everyone tells me that I shouldn't grow out my pixie cause i'm cute with it but like you I need to change my hair soooooooo frequently,so let's see how it goes! xx from italy ps.you rock with any hairstyle!

Syren Cove: Thank you so much for posting this dear :3 I cut my hair into a pixie due to it being the only haircut I haven't had yet and I wanted to grow out my side cut. I'm so ready for long hair, already :p

Carol Parcher: This is the best video for growing out the pixie. Thanks so much. I am encouraged to keep WAITING, WAITING,WAITING.

Nina Ballerina: I love a pixie on you! You really have the face for it O: I cut my hair short like 2 years ago.. it was a pixie cut on the back of my head with alot of layers and an asymmetric bob at the sides which i had to cut off when i was growing it out o.o  it looked awful... Now my hair is reaching my boobs XD and its growing fast now all the layers are kind of catching up to my longer hair.  Good luck growing out your pixie!  Also, don't cut your hair except if you really need to... you wont have many split ends when you don't use any heat on it, dye it and when you do use moisturisers..

badbloodherexx: This is very random, but your house decor behind you is sooo beautiful! the look I'm going for :)

Valen Rodriguez: your hair must grow really fast i have a long pixie cut, it's been almost 5 months and it's going to take me another 2 months to get it to an inch below my ears trying every trick in the book for hair growth, but this helps so much . just seeing you with short hair and working it out makes me feel better.

jose11032: This was SO useful! It was like you were talking sense into my head, haha! Thank you very much. I will try and accept the akwardness!

Ladynipchick2: Very helpful, thanks. I am half way twixt pixie and bob, living in turbans, headbands etc. Yes, I can look cute! One problem, my hair is thick and my hairdresser regularly thinned it for me as it grew so I had a nice shape, otherwise it grew out like a haystack! Now this virus has closed all our salons down - and there is no way I can layer and shape my own hair. I can do it once its long, but short hair cut errors are very unforgiving !!!

morganTmaley: THANK YOU ! I have been looking for a video like this :) it's been 4 weeks since my last haircut and I'm trying my hardest to not visit my stylist haha :)

amirameki: Thanks love! & haha it'll be fiiiine. You're workin' it for now! Looks great. :) x

Ava Marshall: This is the BEST " grow out your pixie" tutorial I've seen. And... I've seen a ton

amirameki: You're welcome! Glad it was helpful!!! Thank you! xx

spongipookinz: This is honestly so inspirational!! THANK YOU

Anna regalado: Ohmygod yes! That is what happened to me last time when I was growing out my pixie cut and it got to a point that I had no clue what to do with it and panicked and I chopped it all off the next day, it's just horrible *sigh*

Alexandra Klein: I'm growing out my pixie cut right now, this really helped me to not give up and cut it all of again :)

Emily Quinapallo: Omg I hated my side hairs when I was growing out my pixie cut and I went through the mullet phase it was horrid but I have successfully made it to the bob and I am on my way to happiness hehe you I think you look gorgeous with any hair length :)

indigotravel: My hair was long covering my entire back down to my butt crack. I chopped it all off shorter than a pixie cut. I love it, I feel new, sexier and confidant in my short hair, I actually get hit on more and hear more complements from men on my short cut than I ever did with my long hair? So anyway I did the short hair found out I'm still cute and now ready to have fun growing it back. I think there are a lot of nice styles you can do as your hair grows out.

jo34576: I'm sorry you're growing it out so soon I just love you short pixie cut on you. You can really rock this style. I finally have my hair down to the middle of my back but it seemed to take FOREVER lol. Good luck on your grow out you are beautiful either way.

alicejpeg: I'm so glad I got a long pixie cut so the back is the same length as the front! :p No nasty mullet (I hope hahaha). Love this video, really helpful and you are so so cute :) xxx

AedeusLeonora: I'm growing out my short haircut that I've had for like four years, but lately I've been so sick of it that I just wanted to cut it short again... XP But your advice really helped - I'm going to let it grow no matter what and I'm looking forward to getting a bob! :D You rock!!

Janita: its been a year and a half or something since i had really short hair and decided to grow it out! My hair is almost to my boobs... Hair grows fast! And its just hair! Stay strong and try to keep your hair healthy :)

KittyKats&Tats: This was helpful, I'm going to go get my out of control mullet trimmed now lol

Elba Lopez: Made me laugh! I'm going thru that right now as I write this!

xmorixFoxx: Getting my mullet trimmed tomorrow haha! thanks for the awesome tips :)

Kat James: It takes a lot longer than four months to get to the short bob stage! I had a sidecut and an undercut pixie, and I'm at the four month mark now. It's gonna take at least another four months to get to the shortest bob length.

itscarolinemary: this is so helpful if I ever go short! your hair looked adorable when it was at that bob sorta stage, in the video "Collective Haul (Library, Sephora, & Thrift Store)" on july 18th! I love your hair short though, it suits your face shape and makes you look older and mature etc! but I understand the desire for long hair too! I think you should keep it black, it'd be interesting to see it long and black or some sort of unnatural colour.

Danika: I've been growing out my pixie since school started (4 months ago), but I have an asymmetrical pixie so one side is about 3 inches below my chin and the other side is just below my earlobe. I also haven't touched my bangs at all so they're below my chin as well. Any tips on how to style the weird long side? Also thank you so much! I've been looking for a good "growing out a pixie" video forever!:) You rock!

LisaSketchGirl: I'm only about halfway through this video and I'm constantly nodding and laughing because I agree with everything you're saying so far, haha! I've cut my hair into a pixie numerous times over the years and the growing out process can be painful, but once I reach the bob I am "good to go". Great video! :)

Jess Cheema: I just cut off all my hair at the end of September. My hair was long and my hair has grown quite a bit. I totally agree, everyone should cut their hair at least once to see what it's like. All I can say is YOLO..lol ;) I was so scared to cut it but I went ahead and did it anyways! Anyone reading lol just go for it, hair grows!!!

Alyssa Hudson: I'm trying to grow out my hair. I love your video. just subscribed! xoxo

Samma Slamma: Lucky! Your hair must grow fast! Its been 5 months since my last cut and my hair barely passes my ears x.x

Rose Marin: By far the best growing out a pixie video I've seen!

Charis: You just totally convinced me, have been wanting short short hair for years but your headscarf and advice reassured me!

Emma Owens: I have wanted to grow out my pixie but I didn't know what it was gonna be like, you helped me SO MUCH

Elise Poole: I'm growing out my pixie now. It's been about two and a half months since my last cut, when I just cut the back part and got bangs, and it's grown pretty fast! When I told one of my friends that I decided to grow it out, he said "good luck, it's going to go through some really awkward stages" and now I'm like "ONLY AS AWKWARD AS YOU MAKE IT"

amirameki: Urban Decay's eyeshadow in "Sin" :) I wet the brush then apply it, makes it brighter. :) xx

brookebelvedere: Perfect timing! Thank youuuu (:

joiedevivre90: I love it! you said "the terrible awful" like in THE Help! wowww love Minnie, love that quote...how great. #bookreferences!

Jennifer C Graf: really enjoyable and tips I will remember when I grow out my hair. Thank you

Sian Reason-Jones: Love this video!! So helpful :) one question though, do you cut around the ears at all?? I heard to grow out a pixie you do, even my hairdresser told me you do. But just trimming the mullet and nothing else sounds better to get to the bob! X

Puppet Master: This cut looks so good on you. I want one now.

Susan Rodriguez: This video was perfect! I've been chopping my hair for years, and this year I really want long hair, since I have dark, straight hair, and I'm kinda tired of short hair for now... Thanx for your tips, I agree on everything you said, specially the mullet part, hehe, dealing with it it's the main reason I cut my hair... I just can't stand that! Again, thanx for your tips, you're so lovely and cute! :D

Helena Rose: Thank you so so much I was really hesitant to cut my hair because I was scared of it looking bad but you helped alot.

Lilly Nguyen: this makes me want my pixie again :') awesome video!

Angela Lyon: I am growing my pixie out also, I'm about 4 months in. I'm a hairstylist, so my solution to the awkward beibs stage has been to wear extensions just in the front if my hair above my ears, then i cut and blend to look like a bob. I wear them for about two weeks at a time, and I LOVE taking them out to see the growth progress I'm making!

Stephanie D'Sa: Probably the only really useful video I've seen on growing out a pixie. Thanks a lot!

Anna Meyer: Thank you so much !! This helped me so much!

Sophie Kubitschek: i'm growing my pixie out since 4 months , and i'm not about the bob lenght :( But you motivated me so muuuuch, my hair is now under my ear at the sides , I WANNA GET THIS DAMN BOB!!!!!!!! keep growing <3

Kate-Louise: Loved thissss, great advice,I'd dreading growing out my baldness haha x

Sarah: so helpful ! thank you and your lipstick looks amazing on you btw :)

Mizzyblu: Thank you so much for the advice it was worth it. As you see my hair is short and I wasn't so sure how to get rid of that molet or how to grow my hair out it really takes patients and waiting and there are times that growing it out can be ugly yet a beautiful prosses . Ladies bobby pins are a must if you have short hair..

Hannah Atkins: My hair is a little longer than yours im going to start measuring my hair each day to see how long its getting each week! :D it will be a good way for me to feel like my hair is finally growing. Also what do you eat each day? What do you drink? Would really help to know what your eating and how your getting your hair to grow! Your so pretty :)♥

Emma Pearl: I'm growing out a pixie cut right now. I wish I had seen this video when I was in the rough stages of growing it out. I didn't cut it when it was in the mullet stage mostly because I was too nervous. I usually just tucked it into a beanie. I still haven't cut it so now I'm able to put it in a little ponytail. The hair is still growing longer at the bottom than the top. I'd love some tips on how to style it when the back is a little bit past your neck. I'm getting tired of the ponytails and bandanas

Loretta Liu: this is so helpful omygod i love you this is exactly what i need T_T i've had a pixie for 3 years!

Lex Virga: I love your makeup look and your pixie cut love the whole look u r beautiful! ;>

Druid Barbarian's Campfire: I agree. I've gotten tonnes of compliments from guys for my short hair. I barely got any for my long hair. Go pixies!

Gia e: I've been growing out my pixie cut for about 2 months and I for sure have the mullet going on lol. I need to gt it trimmed really bad :) Can you please make a video on how you straighten your hair? Thanks :)

jo34576: You know it might be fun to get some cheaper extentions and cut them shorter, curl them and mix them in your hair for a little longer look while you're growing out the real thing. Think that would work? I love doing stuff like that and playing with my hair.

amirameki: Hmmm...I liked curling my longer side when I had it. It'll shorten it and may make it look a bit less drastic. Or....chop that baby off and match 'em up! :P Glad you liked it!!!! <3 xx

amirameki: Hahah I know what you mean. When my hair was long I didn't have to do anything with it at all! Was great. :)

Julia Bradley: There's nothing that a bobby pin can't fix <3 you're adorable

gabrielle1046: Soo much help!! Thank you 3

Laura B: You're really charming :) Thanks for doing this and your how to accessorize videos, I recently decided I want to get a pixie cut but I want to know what I'm getting into

Lydibrown: Girrrl 5 months! I wish! i've been growing mine since october and it's still super short, my mullet isnt even a full-on mullet yet!

amirameki: I've gotten that once before I think! How weird! Haha thanks! :) x

Angela Lyon: Love this vid! I follow you in Instagram also! Love your style!

fantasyxo90: Love these videos. I've been debating if I want a pixie. I'm over weight and have thick hair so I'm afaird. my question though is why is everyone so fierce to grow it out? isn't this the cut people want??

Donna Thornburg: Thank you. This is so encouraging. I am so depressed with this length.

Brittany Jordan: I had a pixi for 5 years and loved it, now it's a short bob. And yes at some points I wanted to cut it. Great idea and good tips

Nicole Doyle: I'm growing out my pixie right now and I WANT to chop it off! But I'm gonna listen and stick with it!

Meredith Strom: I always like to do funky things with my hair so I finally got a pixie. I love it, but I want something new already. My parents won't let me dye it (I'm sixteen). I just wanted to know if I could do anything fun with my pixie besides wearing headbands.

amirameki: Hi! How wonderful of you! That's awesome. Hmm...it sounds like you may just have to hang in there and just wait a few months until it's a bit more grown out and hopefully it'll be better. But I'd play around with hair accessories. That's probably your only option unfortunately :/ Some hats are cute for summer so that's good, plus headbands, head wraps, hair pins...experiment. Good luck!!! You'll get through it. Just takes time. xx

Becca: Thank you s much for this video! I'm thinking about growing out my pixie again, I miss my hair!

amirameki: I'll be doing styling videos! :) x
