Long Hair To Pixie Cut. Before And After.
I got a Pixie Cut. I've never had anything shorter than a bob and decided to document the occasion. I asked for Ginnifer Goodwin's Once Upon a Time cut and well, you'll see.
It's actually been about 2 months since I made this video. Just got around to uploading it and starting my channel.
Hi YouTube, my name is torie and tomorrow I'm going to get a pixie cut, so I thought I would film my hair the way it is now so that I can reflect on that later um. I usually tie it back because it's summer and it gets so hot in Florida, so my hair goes from being wonderful to me going to bed and waking up the next day and it looking like this and my bangs. I decided to cut a full fringe and they've kind of grown out, so they look. They don't really look the best right now, so I haven't trimmed those for the sake of my pixie but yeah and all of its straight flat glory. Here it is so I won't dwell on that too much, and here it is. I'Ve had all day to take this in and you know, stop crying uh. I brought my stylist lots of reference of Jennifer Goodwin's once upon a time cut and I feel like she Emma Watson's me. Instead, it's just so short. Oh, I came home and you know I tried curling it under and adding hairspray and Paul made to help. You know separate the strands, make it look better, but the good news is is that it's the tear it'll grow to what I want it to be in about a month, but right now I just got ta suck it up and be okay with this think. It looks better on the side and the side - that's probably boy, my hair gross, usually when I watch before and after pixie videos, the girls always tell me how great they feel and how much they love their pixie and that you know they have no regrets. I just don't share those same emotions right now, um. I guess I have to live with this for a few more days before I can really you know, get over missing my hair. I think it looks okay on me. I think I can pull off short hair. Just fine, it's just not it's just not what I wanted and usually whenever you know you get any kind of haircut where it's not what you wanted originally you're going to be a little. You know sad that you have to wait for your hair to grow back in order to get what you want and because it's so short, I can't exactly go to another stylist, never fix it. I just kind of got a lot of do its thing for a month or two weeks or, however long it takes um. If you're thinking of getting a pixie, my advice would be to find a stylist. Who does you know Pixies a lot because I really think mine didn't she does great bobs and that honestly did not matter whatsoever because uh Jennifer, good ones, pixie, is really long. I mean her front pieces come down to her at least to her eyebrows. I actually think they taper on one side, and that is definitely not apparent in mine um. She actually has like her hair comes down to about here and in the back. It'S a lot longer I'll show you back so I uh. Maybe she just gave me a cut that will grow into Jennifer good ones haircut, but it's such a drastic change and if you've never had a pixie before I don't think you'd want to traumatize someone by cutting their hair too short just have it grow into what They wanted, I think you should just give them what they wanted in the first place. Does they have to come back? You know sooner and pay more money cut their hair. This doesn't make any sense why she could have this short. I would say pixie at your own risk, make sure your stylist understands what you want and not what they want or what they think is gon na look good on you, because at the end of the day, it's your hair and you can always have longer and Go to shorter and in my case, where it's shorter, I can't really go back to longer. Unless I get extensions and that's just going stupid, so try to be possibly its hair. It'Ll grow so pixie at your own risk on style of students. What they're doing by

Watched all the videos, found a stylist and cut my hair, donated it to locks of love....this is about 5 months ago now. having to cut it every 6 weeks is a drag, and costly.....I have tried other stylists, all of who have not done exactly what the original stylist did, so I have decided to go back to her next time. The only thing I didn't like about the original cut was the back!!!! She shaved it like a marine cut.........yukkkkk! I hated it...but loved the rest...I loved it super short. It was a huge change, but I wanted a change, maybe it is all a 'state of mind' I don't know, but I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!

Angela RetroGirl: Your cut looks really good. I've had a pixie for 20 years and love it. I grew up in salons with a mom who is a stylist. Things I notice - your bangs weren't quite that long in the beginning. Also you appear to have fine thin hair. Ginnifer has thicker, more full, coarse hair. It is impossible to make a haircut with fine hair look exactly like someone's cut who has thick hair. Your best bet is to use a styling paste on the hair to thicken it up and make it piecey and texture when you style it. Because your bangs weren't quite as long (nose length) to begin with - she naturally had to cut the rest to blend with the bang length you had (or where she began cutting). The cut looks great - she just maybe wasn't as good at showing you how to use product to really play with it. In the future - tell your stylist precisely - do not cut length off my bangs. I want them long and sideswept, with the hair tapered on the sides and nape but fuller on top and texturized and piecey.

I really really like your pixie cut and I think it suits you really really well. Before the reveal I was looking at your face shape and thinking about Alice from Twilight (later when she has a pixie) and the stylist pretty much nailed it! I think if you kept this style but had some longer wispier bits in the front it would be really amazing! But to each their own, everyone can style their hair as they like! Just letting you know that this wasn't a bad look for you, its really gorgeous actually!

When I was younger I would get it cut short and then want my long hair back again, so I completely understand. I'm in my fifties now and really prefer my hair short. I'll let it grow out to a bob but then go back to short. When you get older you may like this look better.

Miyah Sundermeyer: Hi Tori, first off going from shoulder lenghth to Pixie is a big step and a big shock at that. Believe me I did three times but I grew into my pixie and learned how to maintain it. At least you tried it and learned it was not for you. It is a good look though.
Marjorie Tornilla: They say if the vertical length from the bottom of your ear to the bottom of you chin is more than 2 inches a pixie cut will not look good on you a stylist should be able to tell if you can pull it off and in your case you rock it! My pixie is more of a Mia Farrow or Jean Seburg, for reference - ha! who the hell are they, right? - but it does its own thing and it doesn't make me look like these people - it makes me look like ME with super short hair.
