( cheerful music ), I am going to be trying different short hairstyles over the course of a week.. My hair is so important to me. It'S like basically, a security blanket that grows out of my head.. I always have admired short hairstyles. I think they're really cool, but I don't think they're cool on me and I've been told repeatedly I have a round face. I cannot do short hair.. I think I've had long hair for a long time and I'm very curious to see whether or not that's actually the best thing for my face. Okay. Okay.. Let'S try some short hair., I'm very worried.. I don't know what this looks like.. Oh my god.. Oh, my god, I have never had hair like this before.. I look like the fat best friend in a rom com. I'd be so good at opening my own feminist bookstore.. I cannot get over this hair.. I keep going from mirror to mirror being like ``. What doe sit look like here and also here ?''? What Are you a bob? Lady? Now? Yes, yes, yes, yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes, Oh I told you you'd, look good with short hair Told you I like it. You look very pretty.. It looks real good on you., I feel like wigs are better at being hair than hair is This is like the green beret of hair.? I would never get this much volume in real life.. I love that color that color warms you up so much.. Alright. End of day, one pretty successful., Do you like it? What is going on? It'S very different.. It feels too short.. I know this look is supposed to be like early 2000s, Sarah Jessica Parker, and if you ignore my face it is.. I feel like there's two commas around. My head., Like my face, is in quotation marks.. Yes, These fucking wigs When you have less hair every piece of it matters much more like if one little part of this is out of place, the whole Jenga tower comes down. It'S like I do this and I don't know this is gon na. Take me. I don't even know whatever fuck it. [ Woman ]. What do you think about Kristen? You look older.. You look southern., Someone just said: ``, Hey! You look different today, ,''! What'S wrong with you, This hairstyle is interesting., So we're on bob three [ Kristen ]. What do you think of my hair? Oh wow, I don't know if I like this one. Got these weird little side pieces.. I kinda look like a sassy Civil War general.. So this is more of like an A-line bob got some stacked layers in the back., But I don't I like it.. It'S definitely drawing lots of attention to here. When I don't want that. The bangs are nice, though I like the bangs., But it looks cute. I think this actually might be my favorite one.. What This hair is very Katie Holmes around her Tom Cruise era, and she makes this look very glamorous. So it's not like this haircut doesn't have a good head home if it wants one. It'S just that my body is probably not the neighborhood. This haircut should move into. Kristen grab the mirror.. I have the mirror. I haven't seen myself yet. Here we go ready. What I'm like on the run from myself., I'm Becky., (, laughs, ), Look like someone who will cut you, because I've already cut something not afraid to cut you. [ Woman ], Alright guys. What do you think of this one? No, I don't like it! I'M sorry.! It'S okay, Oh. God, man, oh man, that is just the angle! There. I really like this a lot.. I feel like the length works for you.. Oh my god, what a cut.! I think there are nice things about this. I just don't know if this is the shape for me.. I asked me fiance what he thought of my hair and he replied: `` Sure.'' Same buddy.. Here you go., Okay, we're ready., Grab the mirror. Okay. (, laughs ). This is full mom, I'm complete now.. This is the last wig. Is there anything about this that you, like, I don't know man. When I inevitably turn 40. I should not do this haircut.. I look Snape's middle-aged mother. She's very mad at him because he hasn't gotten married yet.. What do you guys think Oooh.? It'S cute. Yeah, I love it., I'm sorry.! It'S getting to the point where I just hope. I don't see anyone I know so I don't have to talk about my hair.. I was born looking like this.. Oh, my god. Minus the lipstick and the glasses, but I was basically this is what I looked like when I was born.. It was the best of times it was the bobst of times.. As soon as I put the short hair on my head, it changed my whole face.. I didn't realize how many different kinds of short hairstyles there were. I know that sounds dumb., You think short hairstyle. You just think, like this short the end, but like actually there's the long bob and there's bangs and then there's the'90s cut.. It was like an Instagram filter, but much more expensive. People reacted to my hair, a lot harder than I did.. I think I thought that no short hairstyles worked for me, but actually some do some still do not, and that's okay., Not every hairstyle works for every person.. I think that you should try new hairstyles. Just try them. You're gon na look back on it and be like Wow. I was so hip and cool because you were. So Christie missed my last day of short hair. April Ruiz: The whole idea that round face people shouldn't get short hair is so wrong. It all honesty, short hair that stops around the jaw line and maybe an inch longer, especially with straight bangs, looks so great on round faces and imo it looks better on them than people with longer or skinny faces. Heart shaped and round faces tend to look great in short styles as it frames the face and thins it out a little bit. It tends to make longer thin faces look... well.. longer and kind of heroine-addict esque. A longer cut brings out the roundness of a face and will subdue the longness and skinniness of a face. Also I think a bob type cut would work so well with her personal style.

Mythomay: The thing with short hairstyles is its not the fact it is short, its the styling of it. I lived with short hair for most of my 17 years on this earth and was told repeatedly that my face is too round or fat to pull off short hair. I recently did a big chop and my hair went from around my underarm length to being a 'tinkerbell' pixie cut, shaved at the back with longish side bangs at the top/front. And. It. Looks. Amazing. It took time to get used to it but I look in the mirror and love it so much. Most mornings I wake up and brush it, I've only used the styling gel I bought maybe twice. It sticks up, it lays flat, it blows back in strong wind and becomes a pompadour and I love how it looks regardless. Never be afraid to go drastic with your hair, people. You will never know how it will look unless you try it. Remember, it's hair and will grow back.

CFEARLESS: Liked the first and third ones!!! I also have a round-ish face and had my hair styled very similar to Hinata Hyuuga's (from the Naruto Anime) hime cut hairstyle but without her bangs. It looked really good people said. Before the lockdown from the pandemic I had my hair styled differently with a style I made up with the help of the hair stylist that cut my hair. It had been cut with a somewhat sharp undercut that was curved on the neckline that became slightly longer as it reached the crown of my head in the back and cut shorter on one side and somewhat longer on the other side and layered to be able to be parted with any part I could think of. A lot of things have been going on in my life and some of my loved ones lives that I had no control over so instead of doing something that would damage or injure me, I decided to change my hairstyle to something that I wanted. I actually like it much better than my previous hairstyle!!!

ThomLin: If it's okay, As/Is, my thoughts on this experiment are, as follows: First, these wigs should have been styled and fitted for this woman by a professional! Just sticking a wig on a person's head is not the way to go, truly. Secondly, when you change your hair-color--(wig or not)--you adjust your makeup... Third--those glasses! They may be a facial security blanket, but glasses, like wigs, come in many styles and shapes. This might be a fun 'try!!' Speaking only for myself, for this to have been a legitimate experiment, I feel my 'please tick the boxes' points would have absolutely been ticked. So--I am disappointed at this wasted opportunity to see how the wigs SHOULD have been done. YK? I will say that I admire this woman's joyful, fun spirit and conversational-style honesty. She's great!

I’ve been growing it out for 9 months and just got it cut yesterday. It is actually similar to Jen’s hair. Short hair has always suited me best. Angel May: WOW!!!! Short hair looks sooooo good on her! Just needs to find the right style. Should definitely go short! Mines been down to my waist for 6 yrs. it used to be pink and all different lengths depending on my mood,but my depression got really bad again and I just didn't have it in me to keep re-doing it as it grows really quick and thick and dark roots were Not a thing back then. Bleaching my hair every 3 to 5 weeks just took to much effort and was killing my hair. But I've got a vintage dragster event called Dragstalia coming up and I'm gonna get my hair styled in a really amazing 30's, 40's or 50's style one last time and then..... I'm cutting it off!!!! If I can find a hair dresser that will take my hair for a wig making charity, I'll do that. If not I'm just cutting it myself. Yay!!! Kinda scary.

Owliswell: To be honest the short hair styles that were blond I automatically liked less, because I think she looks better with darker hair. Also the first bob was the best, it looked so good!!!
Chelsea Noble: I went from Rapunzel-length hair to a mid-neck bob. When it's short, it's got tight wave-ish things that look like a shorter version of Monday's wig. You get ten times the volume from short hair because there's just not enough to weigh it down. I think they all looked nice, but Monday's my favourite, and if you ever want to cut your hair, you'll look fantastic with the wavy bob.
Irene Baez: Ok. As a person who has had a pixie for the last five years, I can tell you that The pixie wig was a TRAGEDY! She'll look great with a proper short pixie. Not that awful wig! Round faces CAN have shorter hairstyles, they just have to be the right one. I have a diamond face, and I've had at least 15 different pixies.

My hair is naturally curly so it doesn't look like the one here. The curls are way more definined when it's shorter. Needless to say I could write a book about the crap my mom has said to me in my life. Finding what works best for you to feel good is what it’s all about. I love wigs and different hair. But really I really love long hair and add extensions and I feel super feminine like this. I just don’t like short hair in general though. Even if I was bald I’d wear a long wig.
