Hey everyone, it's sophie hannah here and welcome back to my channel. I hope you guys are super well and staying safe guys. I need your help. I don't know how to get my hair cut next week and i thought we could do a little bit of an inspo sesh um, i'm gon na pop up some pictures of hairstyles that i'm thinking about and i've also got a pixie wig that we're gon na Try and and test to see if a pixie cut is something that would suit me so yeah um. I got this wig from etsy i'll pop a link below it's human hair. It came and it was so like brassy, so i had to silver shampoo it. However, i went to a family barbecue and left the silver shampoo on, and i left it on for a little bit too long, because it's kind of gone, really gray and there's streaks of purple in it i mean it looks quite cool um way better than what It looked like before um but yeah anyways, so i haven't actually tried it on yet i've just toned it and then it's now wet and needs to be blow dried, but i thought i would blow dry it on my head: um and style it so yeah. I i need your help guys. I don't know what hairstyle to pick. I obviously need something done to my hair because it's very thin around the sides. Basically, basically, i've had most of my breakage down my parting and kind of these front areas. As you can see, it's quite thin, the back actually isn't that bad. It'S just like all the side bits so realistically, like i could probably get away with having a mullet, because my hair is pretty much a mullet anyway, like you, take these side bits off and make them shorter, and i've got the back like the length at the Back for a mullet, it just needs to be all layered and stuff, but with mallets i noticed most people have a fringe like it's kind of like a pixie cut on top and then the length at the back - and i just don't know if i quite want A fringe, but i'm not sure i'm open to suggestions and options so yeah, let's start with styling this pixie cut wig first and seeing if a pixie cut is gon na suit me um yeah, i'm just gon na put a wig cap on and i'll be back. Okay, wig cap on, i haven't glued it down properly or anything because the pixie cut has got a bit of a fringe, so you're not going to see it anyway, but yeah. Let'S get this on. Oh my god. This is going to be so weird. I'Ve never had a shorter hair than a chin length bob. So this is going to be very, very odd, um, but yeah. We shall see what it looks like. I think i might have to cut this as well, because it looks like a lot of hair. Oh, my god, don't i can't tell okay, i love a boy. Do i look like a boy and it looks very edgy, i'm not sure. What'S going on here. I think i need to move it forwards. A little bit, i'm not sure. What'S going on here, where's the side bits right. I think the wig is a bit too large for my head, i'm just going to loosen it. I think. Okay, maybe this will help. It just needs to sit a bit better on my ears. Oh my freaking god. I look like a i feel, like i look like a boy and i look like a rock and roll singer with my reverse cat eye makeup that i've done. Can we just appreciate this eye makeup by the way i'm actually kind of obsessed with it? I uh tried the tik tok uh, reverse cat eye trend and i'm loving it. I genuinely didn't think i'd like it, but i love it. Do you guys want a tutorial because i'm happy to do a step-by-step tutorial on this eye. Look, let me know in the comments below anyway back to the hair. I can't deal. Oh my god, it looks so yeah i just let's style it, but i don't think a pixie cut is for me, like. I really don't think it's for me. The color's quite cool actually way better than what it was before, but yeah by the way. Do not judge me on how i style this i've never styled a pixie cut hairstyle in my life, so i have no idea how to style this sort of hair. It definitely needs to be cut. Um can't deal. This looks so weird. It definitely needs to be cut at the front with the fringe i feel like i might do a bit of a swoopy fringe, maybe and then yeah in the oh. I can't do it. Okay, look at myself uh in the etsy um picture. The wig was actually forwards like this and cut straight across, so obviously yeah it needs it needs to be cut. So i'm gon na get my hair dressing scissors because at the moment i i don't even know what it looks like. Okay, guys, don't judge me. I cannot find my hairdressing scissors. I'Ve literally looked everywhere, so i'm just gon na have to use these little hooded beauty nails that i've got, but it's all good. It'S all good! Okay! I don't actually know what i'm gon na do here, but for one it needs to be cut sure. So i'm just gon na trim the fringe off. Those are actually quite good scissors, um, okay, good, more knees to path. Okay, let's take a little bit more off. I feel like i'd, want to see my eyebrows with. If i had a pc cut, so we're going to take quite a bit more off and then i feel like i will. I don't know i don't know what i'm doing. I'M just winging it just to make this look. Okay, i'm gon na leave these side bits. I think a little bit longer and it's quite cool we'll just focus on this bit. Okay, i'm just gon na cut all this off. Okay, these scissors aren't actually that great now i can cut up into it. This is just a rough cut. It'S all good! I'M gon na get hair all over me, so i'm gon na have to hoover up after but yeah. Whilst i'm doing this, i'm going to insert some pictures of other hairstyles that i'm like considering, so i'm considering just doing a really really short bob. So i don't know if you guys watch my weekly vlog, where i got my hair done by kim kardashian's hairstylist chris appleton, so he cut my hair in a really really short blunt bob and it looked really nice. So i'm considering that as an option um. I'M also considering a mullet so i'll put in a few pictures of some hairstyles that i've seen that i, oh my god, it's looking better that i really like that. I'Ve seen on like pinterest and instagram um, and you guys can like help me pick and we can do a little comment section below and you guys can pick your favorite look and then yeah. Who knows what i will get, but i've also as another option. I'M considering like a layered short like chin length bob, i definitely think i'm going to have to go chin length or shorter. Obviously, this all depends on what the hairstylist says, because, obviously i can't fully see all the breakage that i've got at the back of my hair, so they're going to know whether i need you know loads cut off or i can get away with a short bit Cut off so they're going to have to you, know, they're going to tell me basically and look at the condition of my hair and let me know what i need done so yeah. So obviously these suggestions are great to think of and to consider - and i will tell the hairstylist my you know style options, but it is going to be dependent on how much i need to get cut off. But i already know i'm going to probably have to have my hair layered. So even if i did a short bob, i don't think i'd be able to get away with it being blunt because i've got so much short breakage at the top. Basically so yeah we shall see, but i have seen some really nice layered bobs that i like um, so the back kind of looks a bit like this, but a little bit longer, but then the the side actually comes around to a bob. So i feel like that looks really nice. Oh my god, i genuinely don't think i suit a pixie cut. This just looks mental on me. Absolutely mental um. Okay, that's a bit better! I feel like it needs to sit up higher on my head right. Let me just sort this out: i'm just going to blow dry it because it looks a bit well, it is wet, i'm going to blow dry it and maybe put a bit of product in it and see what we can do. I mean i just don't know how i feel about this. I feel like it feels weird not to have anything at the back. I just don't know it. Just doesn't look like me feels very rocky, but also, i feel like if i've got no makeup on i'm gon na look like a child. Some people look so fierce and really pull this off a fair play to them, but i just don't know if i do anyway, let's blow dry it and see if i can salvage how this looks, but i'm not so sure, okay, i feel like i'm gon na. Do a bit of side parting because i just don't know if i'd want a fringy kind of look just because i feel like i've got such a small head. I quite like my forehead, showing so let's figure this out. Maybe i can put some product in it. Oh, what product have i got, i feel like. I'Ve got that like volume powder that'll be good. Actually let me see if i can find it, i'm still not sure about this. Okay, i found a bumble and bumble surf spray. I'Ve also found a fudge: professional matte, head moldable, sculpt like product and the mark hill taming polish, so i feel like i might actually go in with the fudge product. Oh it smells weird. Oh yeah, okay. I like the texture of this. It'S like quite creamy. So, let's put some of that in and we'll see what happens? Oh i'm not sure about this at all. That'S so weird, okay, oh yeah! This is great. This is going to help the hair. Oh, my god. It won't land a bit of green texture. I feel like if i had a pixie car i'd, probably have to style it every day, whereas i feel like if i had a mullet or a bob, i could leave it and just clip it back, but i feel like with this you're really going to have To style your hair, aren't you every day and like with my bleep hair being bleached, i just don't know if that's going to be a good thing for my hair right now, especially when i'm trying to you know repair it and look after it. Oh my god. This is so freaking weird feels so weird styling, like short hair, i don't actually know what i'm doing like the color actually looks. Pretty cool, though, does this look? Is this how people style short hair like pixie hair? Maybe i should have got a picture up and looked at it. I quite like these bits down here, like that's quite cool um, oh yeah, let's bring some of this down. Oh okay, i feel like we're getting it into a bit of a style. Now bring this a little bit down here. I'M still not sure about this, though guys, but we'll get the finished, look and we'll figure it out. I just feel like it's just going to be a lot of styling every day and a lot of product in my hair, meaning i'll probably have to wash it a lot, whereas if i've just got like a bob, go look at the suits this eye makeup. I just don't think it's me. It just doesn't look like me, like i, just i'm gon na put some earrings in and some jewelry on and we'll see, but don't think the pixie cut is for me. What do you think guys? I just look so different. I just don't know if i like it, i look freaking weird. I look so different. What the actual hell like, i feel like i'm like yeah rock chick. I also feel like it makes me look, does make me look younger or older. I feel like it makes me look younger. I don't know about this guys, i'm going to add in some of this surf spray. If it will work. Oh, i need to take the thingy off, but i'm not sure about this guys, i'm not sure about this. It'S quite fun actually to try it though i've never actually like. You know how you sometimes like. Pin your hair up to try and look like you've got a pixie car, and then i thought you know what i'm just gon na buy a wig, and this wig actually has worked so well. But i just i'm not sure about this. I feel like i'm just gon na end up getting a bob because, like it just it just doesn't look like me. It just doesn't look like me. Oh, my god, and, like you guys know, you have to feel like yourself and if you don't look like yourself, i feel like. If you want a huge change, then go for something like like the complete opposite to what you normally get. But this just looks really freaking weird. I just can't what do we think guys like genuinely? What do we think i'm not 100 sold on this? I feel like it looks cool with makeup and it will look cool if i'm wearing like a rocky edgy outfit. With my black nails, but i feel like as an everyday hairstyle um for me personally with like clothes that i wear and stuff i just don't. I don't feel like it's the right, vibe um, like i'm, trying to picture this if it was like pink or orange. I just don't think it will look right on me. I feel like among it potentially, but again it's quite rocky i feel like i just don't know if it would work for me, so i feel like i'm probably going to end up with like a layered bob or a bob like a really blunt, like chin length. Bob, maybe yeah, let me know in the comments below what you think i should get, whether i should get a chin length, blunt bob, a layered bob, a pixie cut or a mullet um yeah, oh my god. It feels so weird. Oh, my god. A pixie cut really suits you and it’s only temporary til it grows but obviously appreciate that it’s terrifying! You’ve got a face for any haircut to be fair so think whatever you go for will look amazing!

hibernating mummabear: I'll preface with I'm a qualified stylist, a pixie cut would really suit your face shape but if you are put off by a very short style how about how Natalie Imbruglia wore her hair in the torn video, plenty of layering to work with any damaged hair, a bit edgey and not too short that you can still create styles, just a suggestion. X
Ash: I think a shorter pixie cut would really suit you! Something like what Emma Watson had in 2010, maybe? I definitely feel like if you go for a pixie, something shorter than the wig would suit you more. A chin length bob would also really suit you though!! You could always start with the bob and gradually go shorter.

Elly Marie: I’m a hair stylist so here’s a top tip! It’s worth trying the longer styles first (mullet or Bob) then if you’re not feeling it you can always go shorter but it’s not as easy to grow it back from the shorter styles if you don’t like it. You would suit anything and to be honest an even shorter pixie would look a lot more feminine and suit you more! A shorter bob would definitely get most of the damage of and maybe get bangs if you aren’t fully committed to a fringe

Allyson Yost: I’m partial to a pixie and I think when you go to a hair dresser who really knows how to do a good one it will look even better than the wig. That being said they are annoying to grow out and I think a mullet would be just as difficult. I think the bob would be better for you because you won’t be lightening your roots for a while and longer hair is easier to highlight. I think doing something you’re more comfortable with is important and if you have to sacrifice lightening for a while at least it would be cut in a style you are more familiar with.

Kat S.: Definitely layered chin length bob. It's basically a regular bob with added texture. But chin length or tiny bit shorter would look bomb on you! I tried the pixie cut on my small head and I did felt too masculine for my feminine features. Plus I always had to style everyday, because my hair is very thin and flat with no volume to it. It looked cool at first, but then i hated it. By the way the growing process is sooo long. I waited forever for my hair to actually grow up to my chin.
flower candy: I think For the health of your hair a long pixie cut with dark roots would look really good and for the days you don't want to style it you could wear a headband or some kind of hair accessory! pixie cuts don't have to be a lot of work it can be low maintenance! Cutting off all the fryed ends and taking a break from bleach you hair will get super long!

Sharon Curran: The pixie cut looks great on you but I think one with a side parting and sweeping side fringe would work well. A bit like Frankie Bridges when she was in the Saturday's. You could always use products to alter how it looks (more grungy or sleek). I think a pixie cut done by an actual hairdresser would be better than the wig,. The wig is helpful to get the idea. I'm not a massive fan of mullets but if you decided to gor one of the ones in the pictures I'd go for the shaggy looking one. A short Bob might work but I think uou may need it cutting back further than that to get rid of the bulk of the damage.
