In this article, RaDona cuts a very short pixie haircut. Also known as Jennifer Goodwins Pixie Hairstyle. This is another fun pixie hairstyle for women in their middle ages. The Client wanted a hairstyle to look a lot like Jennifer Goodwins Pixie Hairstyle. To start it off,you want to use a number four clipper up to the crown of her hair. This way it is a very short pixie haircut. This way, it makes it super soft, cute, and the best part- easy! For this very short pixie haircut, the texture is key to making this soft. You are going to cut the top off and then blend in the sides. She then gives the top some texture. This is super fun cute for a soft look. This very short pixie haircut works really well for thick hair.

To texturize the bangs, you are going to take a little bit of the “bangs” and cut at a diagonal. That way it gives it a little bit of different lengths. She then uses a razor ( not hard) through out the hair. This gives it lift and soft movement. This client wanted her very short pixie haircut to be soft, not spiky like the typical RaDona client hairstyle. She then uses the clipper with her comb to be able to blend the short hair. Sometimes she goes up and sometimes she goes sideways. It all depends on how the hair is falling so it blends the best. Afterwards, RaDona checks the front in the mirror. That way it doesn’t look bulky and fully blended. She then uses texturizing shears to blend the areas some more. A very short pixie haircut needs texture. If you don’t give it texture, you will look more like a boy and it will lay flat.

Then RaDona uses the clippers along the hairline to clean up the bottom part. If they have a calac, you can use a comb with the clippers to make sure you take not the length off. She then uses the clippers she shave around her ear to clean it up to make sure that it is a true very short pixie haircut. Then again around the ear, she uses a comb and a different clipper to make sure it is not all over her ear. When blow drying her hair, make sure you move your fingers back and forth. Afterwards, she will go back with her shears if she needs to. RaDona then lets her clients feel their hair is short enough. In this video, the client thought that it was short enough, so the RaDona went on with the finishes touches of styling. After adding some of the oil, RaDona asked if she wanted more texture in the bangs. The client did so RaDona added more texture in her bangs. For styling, she uses her “magic products” from Monat. She uses a little bit of Monat root lifter so it doesn’t give a ton of volume but a little bit so it doesn’t lay flat. She then uses a little bit of Monat moose. After blow drying her hair, she is going to use 3 drops of Monat’s Rejevenique Oil. She rubs that in all through out her hair. She then uses the Monat clay (replacement for Distortion ) to show off the texture in her hair. This very short pixie haircut is again an amazing, fun pixie hairstyle for women in their middle ages. This particular one was a copy cat of Jennifer Goodwins Pixie Hairstyle. Hey everyone: this is Carrie. She lives really close to my hometown, like five minutes away anyway. She is in Mona, I'm Annie vice, so I'm so happy that carries letting me show you guys this cut. She wants it like. What'S her name, Jennifer Goodwin? Thank you. I just forgot it. I just asked her again anyway, so thank you. So we are going to cut it like hers and I really excited cuz we're gon na start with the number four a clipper in the back. That'S what I just did too, and it feels so good if you want short, easy, just go for the number four anyway, so number four a year on the bottom and then I'll take um. You know we round to your ear a little bit shorter and obviously take out the Clippers around and what's fun is with the cut like this, and I'm not going all the way up here like it go just to about here. Um everybody thinks that when you do it's not everybody. I shouldn't say that, but some people think when you use a clipper, that oh it's a guy cut masculine whatever it's so so not we are going to texture this and soften it up and she doesn't use a lot of product. She just has it soft and kind of to the side really cute, so I will show you nice that in a little bit - but I just wanted to clarify that we are going to make this really soft and super cute and easy right we're all about easy. Yes, exactly, okay, so now the top. How much are you one off about? Probably just the just a teeny tip does enough to you laughs, yeah textures, the main key here, guys, okay, so we're just gon na come in definitely point cut it into this cut. Okay, you don't want any harsh lines when you hear like a haircut. That'S soft! You want lots of the text and lots of different links and then, of course, I'll go in and I'll blend all this in a minute I just like to cut the top first and then we'll blend the sides, so you can see she's still gon na have Some fullness through here and then I'll just blend down here, so it's still full, but it's tight. I have to deal with that. Okay and then just texture up here yeah this one is really really fun cut. It'S great pixie for a soft look and she has a lot of hair. She definitely definitely has the one here which is so nice for you right right, so good, just healthy, hair, too. Okay, now this friend I'm holding out front like this just so there's a little bit extra length on that front. So it's not, you know, cut up, so we have some link to kind of push to the site. So I hold this out front like that. Okay, now and yes, she has a gorgeous face to have this cut. Also, okay, I'm actually going to come around this way. You guys sorry, so you can see how I'm gon na texture, her bangs and what I mean by that is I'm going to take a little slice. I need to move over some hair take a little bit move over just so it's different links in there. Okay, you don't want just a being the same length. Who'S sorry up here on their face. Okay, look at her in the mirror for a second okay then going to take a razor through this area, just a tiny bit just so it gives it a little bit of soft movement, and if your razor is new, do not press her, but whatever you do. Just do it a light. Okay, now I'm gon na lift the hair up here and use the razor. Also, just through this area, it's gon na give up, lift and now the thing is that she doesn't love a ton of volume. So I was way excited to show you guys this cut, because I've had people want to see the pixie. But a ton of my ladies want, like the spike full up top, and hers is more of a soft. I mean she likes. It fuller, but not like up. You know what I mean, so I'm really to show you guys this haircut, I'm going to blend this area. Okay, I bring my comb in and then kind of out a tiny bit. You can see like it's not flat to her head and it's not clear out it's just kind of out a little bit, so I didn't mean to push on your head like wow, okay, so you can see I'm just fingers going up and then I'm going to Take my texturizing shears and really go in and blend that also you can seize and you can just watch the line. Kinda disappear when you do this and of course we want a little bit of link back there. That'S why I stopped down here. So we can. You know just blend this up this way so see you can see. Sometimes I go up like this. Sometimes I go sideways like this. You sing with her sights and the other thing I'd like to do when I blend is definitely I mean you can see it. This way I'll be sick, looking in on it when you win, but I love to double-check and look in the mirror from the front and let me just kind of show you okay, so I'm looking here in the front, so it's looking pretty blended. If you can see what I mean, so it's not like poking out here, you know what I want to do is take my texturizing shears and go oh I'll, go through here too, but just through your side range women. It'S really good to take your shears. Your thinning, shears texturizing shares through that area that just really blends those areas and if you ask Carrie, if you have no, you don't really did the razor. I don't need a ton of this up here, but I'm just gon na come in about a half inch up and cut just a little bit more in there. Okay anyway, if you ask Carrie, a short haircut needs texture. Thank you. If not you're gon na. It'S just gon na lay flat. We don't so if you just touch the texture, the more texture, the better, so I'm just gon na turn her and make sure that this is okay. It'S all blended well down here and I'm gon na kind of go with your hairline. You can see how it kind of leaves like that. I'M just gon na kind of go with your hairline okay. Now, if they do have a Calot or a way that it you can see how it's coming together there, you can come back again with a comb and just go over that area to make sure you have the length off. Sometimes there can be little stragglers. Okay, now her ears, I'm just gon na move her ear and we want to just clean this up. So it's tight and then we're going to come up on an angle, so you can see, helps in a cute point. Okay, all right! Now this area same thing, so you come back here. Take this hair away from her ear. Do a good carry yep, okay, hey in here, okay! So I'm taking this a little bit tighter just around the ear, just bringing that come in push it a little bit! Tighter here cuz, that's where that's the worst when we get your haircut for is, if it comes over your ears after this, not by your ears right enough, okay, so the way we're going to style. This is a little bit of root. Lifter, like I said she spikes a little bit of volume, if not turn, so we're going to do that with a tiny bit of mousse to shake that just one squirt. That'S it rub it in your hands. Now they are good okay. So I always love to ask my clients to fill it after. I cut up see if it's short enough. I did that usually when I sweat or drugs so go ahead and try that one more time say fast, yeah that film right, okay, perfect, okay! So now so they're easy. So it's just me just saying: okay, I'm going to take the oil rejuvenate oil and I'm gon na take two drops. Actually, you do three for her and then I'm just gon na rub this in and then just bring it through her hair, hey everybody's, longer reason: right: okay, let me just see here, okay now, what do you feel? Do you feel like you, need your bangs or texture? Sorry. Can you speak up to me, lift up a tiny bit, we're just gon na piece these out a little bit more, so she has my urns in the way I'll come this way guys. There goes that have a face again: hard carry. Okay, I think what we'll do also is take a little bit plate to just piece out the front, a little just to show off that texture, you lift it up a little or whatever you don't have to have it straight down, but doesn't like get up and Big that feel better. What about right? Yeah, okay, turn her around you guys! Yeah! You look so cute. I love it. Okay, everybody! Thank you! So much for watching and Carrie. Thank you for letting us videotape your sweetheart and gorgeous cut on you by the way and go ahead and go on my email list. Robin Crook: Ah, I miss my years as a natural brunette! Great cut. I am lucky that my hair's natural gray is really blends of silver, and I love wearing it short. My stylist has always used a 6 and now I know, this is why I feel like it grows out on the bottom so fast! Thanks

blackfoot121: Happy New Years, RaDona!! I enjoy watching your videos here. Like I have said on other posts, I like the part of the video that you rub and massage the hair creme on the entire hairstyle and the tips of the hair. It's very therapeutic to watch that, as well as incredibly relaxing. You are also very creative with your nail polish. I like seeing what color your nails are in the videos, since you change your nail color frequently, and the hands are one of the first things a person notices about someone. Your nails are lovely. Anyway, my birthday was 2 days ago, it was nice to see you style hair 2 days ago on another video. And, here is a very kind and happy shout out to all the other Aquarius ladies and gentlemen out there!! And, another shout out to the Generation X age group who grew up in the 1980's!! You are doing a wonderful job, RaDona. I look forward to seeing your new hair tutorials/videos. Suzanne
