Hi welcome back to my channel, it's Roxy in this video. I will be showing you how I created this cute braided pixie hairstyle. I like to call these segments short hair magic. So if you want to see how I got this style, just stay tuned. Okay, let's get started so my hair is freshly washed and I'm starting off by combing through my hair and parting it in the direction that I want to lay down my tracks, because I will be adding tracks to the top of my hair to the top of My head, I just give you the top of will dry just so it's not too damp right before I put in put on the tracks so to the front of my hair, I will be adding eight inches of hair and in total I will be adding about Three three tracks to the top of my head: you! So at this point I am just braiding the tracks that I've glued onto my head just to see if the braid is the size that I would like, and if you find that the braid is too thin, then you can go ahead and add another track. If you'd like - but this is perfect for me so now - I'm wrapping my hair with the cream of nature, foam, wrap lotion and I'm going to start with I'm adding a foam to the sides of my head. I'M gon na finish off by adding foam wrap little to the top of my head to the top of my hair, just ticket everything smoothes out and now I'm adding the braids so right now, I'm gathering all the hair forward and braiding it across my hairline. So I Drive pinned the end of the braid back. I'M just gon na do some finishing touches with the foam wrap lotion just to get my desired style. Now that I'm finished styling, my hair with the foam, I'm gon na go ahead and wrap my hair with the wrap strips because I don't have a hooded dryer, I'm going to let my hair air dry and I have a lot of things to do. In the mean time, so I'm gon na get started on Micah's hair, so I went ahead and put on some makeup. In the meantime, my hair's fully dried. Now now I'm gon na go through with some argan oil oil treatment throughout my head. It works as a heat protector and also adds shine to my hair combing through with the rat tail comb kind of bit kind of softens up this style and takes away the crunchiness that the foam wrap lotion needs to behind after it dries with a one-inch flat Iron, I'm gon na curl my hair, or give my hair a bump on the top the sides in the back. You two pinned up the end of the braid. I use a wig clip. You can find it at your local beauty store. So I'm just slightly tucking. It in I found that it was small enough and the color would blend, and it would be easy to hide using away clip. So I used a wig clip just to tuck that away keep in mind. This is my first time trying to create this style. I definitely learned a lot and I know what I would do differently the next time around. So the next step is to pull the braid apart, not completely just tug at them. It kind of gives it a fuller, fluffier. Look and a nicer finish next I'll, be plotting some rays, a perfect, finishing cream, this cream wow. I love it once you apply it to your hair. It gives you her shine and it makes you her look so healthy. I love it. I am so in love with this style. Is such an easy way to jazz up your short hair. This style was inspired by a stylist that I found on Instagram. Her Instagram name is Laurie underscore the exclusive stylist. shae11972: I bodied everything but that damn braid! Apparently if u only know how to braid under instead of over you dont get the same effect. I ended up attaching a braid from some hair I had and pinned it to the braid that didnt look right. And voila! I came out cute!
