Installing A Pixie Cut Lace Wig For The First Time Ever! || Victorias Wigs

Hey guys welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel if you're new here my name is trinity, resting and yes resting is my real surname so guys, as you can tell by the state the state of my head. Okay, this is going to be a wig video. My very first ever in my life attempt to install a wig, okay, i'm so excited for this video um, but yeah. Please don't mind the way my head looks. Okay, i look a little bit like an alien. A little cute, ass, alien but yeah um don't mind that. But today is a wig video and i'm so glad that this video is sponsored by victoria's. So what you see in the box first is a little drawstring satin looking bag with, of course, the brand victoria's wigs and their motto and their motto, because you matter they think i'm better. But anyway, when you open the bag, this has the wig in it, and so the wig comes in a net. So i'm just going to take the net off okay and then it of course comes with stuffing. So we're just going to throw that away, and then the wig looks like this, so this is a if i'm not mistaken. This is a 13 by 6 frontal pixie cut curly, wig. Okay, this this thing is so cute, it's so cute. I know you you guys. Probably can't see the vision yet but um, i'm gon na install a picture. Okay of a girl that i saw on pinterest with a similar cut wig, if not the same wig a similar cut wig and i absolutely fell in love. So when victoria's wigs contacted me and then they spoke about a pixie cut wig, when i tell you i was beyond excited okay but anyway, yes, they sent me this wig. It is gorgeous. The texture is amazing. The curls are bouncy. I did wash the hair yesterday. I shampooed it with a sulfate free, shampoo and conditioned it, and then i just air dried it. So it does look like this. It'S a bit. You know crazy at the moment because i didn't brush it or anything like that. The wig does come pre-plugged, but i did do a little bit more plucking. Just you know to get it to look a little bit more like my hairline um, but it does come pre-plugged. So it's really not necessary to um. Pluck it yourself, then this is the lace that it comes with and then i believe the knots are slightly bleached, um, so yeah. Basically, this wig comes ready to wear ready to just whoa. Okay, then, in the box there is also a little baggie that comes with. Let me start here, so it comes with two sets of wig caps. I already have one of them on it. Was this one um? I don't know what color this is, though, okay, i don't know, but it comes with two packs of wig caps in a darker shade and a lighter shade, i'm wearing the lighter shade, because i felt like the dark would be too dark, but this one i can Use makeup to darken it up and then also in the back. It came with a rat tail comb. I'M so excited about this, because i've been wanting a retail comb with a metal um tip, because the one i have is just a plastic tip and honestly it doesn't do it doesn't do what i wanted to do. So this one is definitely going to be useful. It then also comes with girl. It'S like christmas. Anyway, i'm trying to open this. It also comes with the edge brush. Okay and it's pink so like what more do you want like what? What else do you want? But, yes, it comes the edge brush. You know comb side and brush side super excited about that, and then it actually comes with a lot of things in here and then it also comes with a pair of tweezers. Please don't buy my nails. Okay, it's been rough okay, but it also comes with tweezers. In case you want to pluck your wig and it then comes with a little makeup. Brush like this. Just in case you want to, you know, apply makeup to the lace to make it match your skin. So basically it comes with a an entire set for you. Just to you know, be ready to do all your things and just go. Oh and then the last thing in the box is just their brand pamphlet with um, of course, victoria's whole um story and how to properly care for the hair and make sure it stays in great condition. So this will definitely be helpful but yeah. That is all that comes in the bag. I mean in the box, okay, so right now, i'm about to start attempting to do the bald cap method. Okay. So, throughout the past week i have been doing a lot of research about how to install wigs like i said, i've never done this before this is my first time and you guys are going to be watching me. Do this for the first time, i'm a little bit nervous, that's okay! I'M hoping this will go well anyway, i'm going to be attempting the bald cap method from what i've seen on youtube. This seems to be the method to get your hair, absolutely slayed, okay, but i feel like if you don't get this right. Your lace just won't be melted into your skin. You know what i mean, but it's okay, i'm gon na be following a tutorial by um. The million dollar baby. She is basically just doing a tutorial on how she does her bald cap method, um, so yeah. Basically, i'm gon na be following that and you guys can just watch me do it. I guess i don't know so. Basically, i started off by gelling my edges back, so they all gel back right now, um and my hair is just in little twists. I try to get it as flat as possible. I think i did a good job, it's just in some twists right now. So i'm about to start the tutorial um on my phone and um yeah. Just let you guys watch, i guess, okay, so basically what she's doing first is she's pulling her wig cap pretty far down like i'm talking far down like oh, i don't know how i'm about to do this. Okay, i'm! Basically, how am i gon na see? How am i supposed to see what i'm doing okay hold on guys? Okay, so basically she pulls her wig caps down pretty far. I guess the bag don't really matter, because it's the back but yeah. She pulls the wig cap down pretty far and then she basically cuts some holes in the ears which i'm kind of scared about, because, like once, i cut this thing like that's it, it's gon na be good, that's it. You know, but uh. Okay, i'm about to try and cut this. I can barely see oh child - oh my god. Maybe i should try and fold it. Okay, that's a bit better! So um right now, i'm just gon na go ahead and attempt to cut little holes in the ears um, because that's what that's, what that's, what she's doing so that's what i'm gon na do too. I don't know, i don't know i don't know. I don't even know how to grab this. I'M scared to cut it. Oh my gosh, okay, the lace is apparently expected to run. I mean not the lace, the wig cap, okay, i'm about to just cut i'm talking too much. Okay, i literally bought these things for this video and they're blunt like what the heck - oh, my god. I think i did it. I think i did it. Okay, i'm gon na do the other side. I'M gon na. Do the other side. Okay, there's a little hole. I want to stick my ear through. Maybe i should cut this little piece off. There'S a little piece right here, that's just kind of chilling. Okay, i think i did it. I cut some ear tabs, i'm quite proud of myself. Oh hold on where's the lobe of my ear. Oh, oh child! Is it running it's running it's running. Why is running? Okay? Oh, it's meant to run okay, i'm watching the video. Now i'm going to continue stretch the cam down, so my ear can pull through just to help keep the cap okay after i get the cabin okay. So basically the next step is she takes some uh got to be glued. Freeze spray, um yeah! I bought this. A few days ago, a few weeks ago i don't know but yeah. She basically takes this spray and um. Okay. I got ta test it. Oh okay, she basically takes the spray, she says she's, she works in sections. So that's what i'm about to do and she starts off by spraying. Oh my god. Oh okay, she starts out like spring. It got to be like she sprays a lot, but i don't know if i'm about to do this. Oh my gosh! This is scary y'all. This is so scary. Why is it going down my head? Okay, she's gon na keep spraying. She sprays it like way back way back when, like you know, she sprays quite a lot. Okay, oh this is cold. Okay, then she takes her blow dry. I'M gon na work, quick because i don't know if it's gon na dry or what, but then she takes her blow dryer. So that's what i'm about to do and she just dries it up baby baby. Let me try to show you, maybe you tomorrow guys. So i'm really not trying to sleep late today, oh my goodness, this is this is just this thing is so cold. Why is it so cold spray? The ear tabs? A lot of the youtubers speak about the ear tabs, not sticking down, so i'm gon na try to spray the ear tabs down: hey guys, okay, so i've just um, basically put two layers of got to be glue and i've just dried it all off. So right now the next step is to cut the extra. What is this thing called the extra cap off? Okay, i'm gon na start in the middle, because that's what i've seen most youtubers do, i'm just gon na start in the middle. These are terrible scissors. I need my money back. Oh my gosh, i'm literally not gon na get anywhere from these times. Okay anyway. Oh this is so scary, but i can see okay. Basically, she said i should try and get as close. I don't want to lift this noodle. She said. I should try and get as close, oh my gosh to the hairline as possible and it looks like you need. I guess i got ta cut in my jagged emotions. They said i shouldn't cut in a straight line. This is so much stress, but now i don't want to cut like zigzags nobody's head is like zigzags, you baby. Let me try to show you maybe okay, this side came out real nice. It'S like flush to the skin, but okay, um ciao. What do i do with these little pieces that just refuse to listen to what i'm saying? Okay, guys i'm gon na finish off cutting, then i'm gon na be back okay, so i have now laid my cap down. Okay, um so far, i don't know how i'm feeling about it: okay, but um yeah, i'm trying to move quick, because i'm tired guys it's already. What is the time. It'S 9 p.m. Um and i haven't eaten dinner yet and i've been filming the whole day. So i'm tired, but right now she told me while she the girl, on the the youtube tutorial that i'm watching she said the next step right now is to take a powder foundation. But why feel like this anyway? She said to take a powder foundation, so i've just got my pressed powder here and she said just to rub it on the lace. I guess this is what's gon na make it like disappear. So that's what i'm doing right now. I don't know how well this is gon na disappear because um, i don't think this is really like color, so i don't know, but hopefully it won't look too strange. Okay guys, so i have now finished applying the foundation. I don't know how well it went, but i feel like this is. I feel like this is good enough, like i feel like i did a good enough job and i think it's time to apply the wig. This is really scary to me. Okay, so far, it feels like it fits pretty good, i'm just gon na fold, this lace back. So i can just feel if it's sitting right, so i'm watching a tutorial and she told me to section off the hair. So that's what i've just done! I'Ve sectioned off the little baby hairs and she told me to spray the part. So that's what i'm about to do about spray the part and then i'm gon na blow dry, it um so yeah. This is kind of scary. I just need to make sure that the hair is like on like where i want it to be. Now, i'm about to spray um blow dry, and then she says you're going to spray a little bit like spraying. It on my finger would be better a little bit on the lace so right now, i'm about to section off the next portion. I'M doing this in sections, because i feel like that's the safest thing for me. Okay, so i'm just gon na pull it down like here and do the same process, i'm gon na spray, the part - maybe i need to be more okay, guys my battery is dying, so i'm gon na finish this whole gluing process, and then i think, maybe tomorrow Morning, i will come and show you guys the final product but yeah. Basically, i'm just gon na glue this and then maybe tomorrow, i'll actually do the baby hairs with you guys on camera, but yeah. I'M just gon na finish, gluing this down and then probably go to bed and i'll get back to you guys tomorrow morning. Okay, bye, hey guys, so it is the next day um. As you can see, i managed to kind of lay the wig last night um. So this is currently what we've got: it's not looking too bad, but it's not yet like melted melted, like i feel like. I can do better, so um yeah right now. I'Ve just sectioned off like the edges, where i'm gon na cut the edges, i'm gon na do the top later on, but yeah. So this is what i've sectioned out for the edges, um, so yeah. Once again, i'm watching a tutorial, because i don't know, even though i know how to do like normal edges, i feel like i just. I just need the reason, the what i just need, the reassurance um with a tutorial, i'm just gon na section off the top. Should i trim it so it doesn't get in my eyes because currently i'm suffering okay, i'm gon na i'm gon na trim it because it's all over my eyes. I don't like cutting hair. It gives me anxiety. Okay, hopefully you guys can see me. Oh okay, i'm gon na just trim, i'm gon na start with a little section. I'M gon na work in like three sections and i'm gon na start by trimming this i'm gon na try and trim it like quite rough. I don't know if this is short enough. Okay, then i'm just gon na i'm gon na go in with some gutsy glue, um and apply it and then i'm just gon na brush them just to see what i'm working with and i'm just gon na you know do a general swoop, the loop, okay guys. So i've just laid my edges. I know they look a bit intense right now, but um, i'm just gon na go ahead and lay them and then uh i'll probably stay with this bandanna for a while, oh no okay! So while my edges are setting, i think i'm gon na just try and style the hair uh i'm going for a wet look because i feel like that, would look pretty pretty good. Pretty cute. Pretty you know natural, so i'm just gon na get the hair as wet as possible. This might take a while, because the spray bottle that i have is teeny. The next thing i'm gon na do is just add. Some gel i'm gon na be using eco styler gel um. This is just to keep the curls intact so that when it starts drying, it doesn't dry frizzy. You know it's gon na keep them real defined and sexy and you know, keep the wet look. Looking wet. You know, okay, so i think i'm gon na want to style the hair into a deep side part either this way, or this way, i'm not sure yet, but what i'm gon na do right now is just take off my scarf um. It hasn't been on for very long but uh. I don't really have time to wait for them to set, so i'm just gon na take them off, and then i'm gon na use this little edge brush to just brush them out a bit and try and soften them up so they're, not so hectic. Okay. So i have now styled the wig. I love it. It'S giving me like. I don't know it's just giving me good vibes. You know professional aura, you know office type vibes, you know, so i am definitely loving how it's looking. I love the wet look. It looks. Effortless, it looks, it looks like i just popped in the shower and i walked out the door, and that was it, and that was just it so yeah guys. This is what it looks like.
