How To: Curly Ponytail ✨ New Years Eve Hairstyle

Hey guys, welcome back, can you guess by my dress, what today's hair tutorial might be? It'S a New Year's Eve hairstyle and I want to share with you guys a really easy, glamorous and voluminous ponytail and guys guess what today's video is sponsored by uLTA Beauty. Let'S just go ahead and get started to prep. I started with the IVA NYC Maine magic, ten-in-one primer. This is a miracle in a bottle. You guys it nourishes, strengthens softens and cuts drying time while protecting against Hot Tools. Next the bumble and bumble thickening spray. This has been a favorite of mine since the summer. It creates lift volume and it adds so much body, it's my go-to when I want to create big voluminous ponytails and then i roughly blow-dried my hair using the t3 Kirra hairdryer. This hairdryer feels so luxe. I absolutely love it. It'S digitally controlled and it drives my hair so quickly and it leaves it feeling really soft and frizz free and to curl. I used my go-to, the t3 twirl trio, and it includes three barrels and when I want more formal curls, the one and a quarter inch is my go-to. Alright. Now, for the ponytail place, your fingers just behind your ears and trace up towards the crown of your head and then section the top hair off and just clip it out of the way now gather all of that remaining hair and secure it into a tight ponytail. Wherever you'd like it to sit okay time for the hero product of this hairstyle, it's the big sexy hair powder play volumizing and texturizing powder I've. Yet to find anything like it. It'S so unique and just sprinkle a small amount on focusing it near the roots. Before I tee my hair, this gives you so much volume you'll see more when I used it on my ponytail, so just tease all the hair around your crown in a downwards motion. Next gather all the hair on the left side just Y swoop it over your ear and then give it one twist clockwise and this will help add some detail and then just bobby, pin it to the right of your ponytail for now and then repeat on the Right side, I'm going to give it a twist and bring it across the previous section and bobby pin it to the left of your ponytail just for now next create a hair bungee. So it's two bobby pins on a hair, elastic and insert one of the bobby pins at the top of your ponytail and then tightly pull the second bobby pin around all of your hair, securing it into one ponytail and sliding it underneath and then just to remove Those bobby pins from earlier you don't need them anymore, then wrap a small piece of hair around your ponytail to hide it and then wrap your ends around a bobby, pin and just slide. It underneath now divide your ponytail into small horizontal sections. I added more of the volumizing powder and then just continue to tease the hair near the base of the ponytail, and you want to try to tease as close to the base as possible and then just continue. Sectioning powdering and then teasing until you get to the top. Take your time with it and I recommend teasing more than you think you need to. I touched it up it curls and then I added the big sexy hair, volumizing hairspray you guys this hairspray adds so much volume and lift I love it. I want to show you guys a before and after so you can really see what a difference, teasing, volumizing powder and hairspray makes it's crazy right. So there we have it you guys. What did you think?
