Hi guys welcome back to my channel in this video, I'm gon na be showing you three different ways that I put my hair up in a ponytail and get it out of my face. These are all especially good if you have super curly and textured hair. So, for all three looks: you'll need two hair elastics, a bunch of bobby pins to pin back your hair, some dry shampoo for added texture and volume, a really strong holding hairspray. This is great for spraying back all your flyaways and frizz ease a teasing comb. I love this one because it has a pointed end. You could separate your hair easily and those bristles are pretty rough, so they're good for teasing a wide pick comb. This is good for picking up and teasing a lot of hair and, last but not least, you need some dirty hair. It is so much easier when you're putting your hair up in ponytails or updos if you haven't washed a weave in a hot minute. Okay, so four ponytail number one I'm going to start by giving myself a very deep part. This ponytail is, I think, a bit more elegant out of the three. So just give yourself a really good part and brush down this, the flyaways on one side and then you're going to grab that section of hair and what we're doing is pulling it back and you're going to like poof it up. If you have to tease it then go ahead, use the dry, shampoo or the hairspray. My hair is dirty and has moves and stuff in it. So it's actually working quite well for me. So once you get it in the position and you have the right poof to it and it's all situated and take some bobby pins and pin back that hair. So you want to make sure that the piece of hair that we're pinning back is secure. So I like to take my bobby pins and I usually crisscross them - we're going to be tampering with our hair, a lot when we put it back into the ponytail. So you don't want your hair to be moving and you don't want to ruin the pouf that you created so gather all of your hair and put it into a ponytail once it's in the pony. You can just you know, style it, however you'd like sometimes I like to pull out some extra pieces on the side, make it a bit more fluffy and tease the back of my ponytail. You can do whatever you'd like if you have any pieces that are sticking out like me. I have that weird-looking loop. I just take bobby pins and pin them down and then to finish off just go in with some hairspray and that's it. That'S all for ponytail and number one ponytail number two is a bit more relaxed and messy and fun you're going to take half of your hair and separate it and take the top and put it into a ponytail just as high as you want. If you want to put on the top of your head, go right ahead, I'm going to put mine like kind of in the middle, but it's still pretty high, now you're going to take the bottom section and you're going to put that into a ponytail. Now you want to try and get it as close to the base of the top ponytail, as you possibly can. The purpose of this is to make your ponytail look longer by putting two ponytails, but it's going to be disguised, so you can see now you have two ponytails and the top one's going to rest on the bottom, one which gives you a lot fuller of a Tail and your ponytail is going to look a lot longer as well, so taking that bristle teasing brush I'm just going to brush back any of my frizzies. With this look, I don't want to use hairspray because I want it to look more relaxed and not so. You know not so sleek and and pinned back so then I want to take my teasing brush and just tease the top of the ponytail again just to give it some more pouf. You can see how full the ponytail looks. It honestly just looks like I have so much more hair than I actually do, and I love it moving on to our last ponytail. So with this one you're going to take not quite half of your hair, just like a small section from the top, you really don't need that much care you'll see when I turn around that there is not that much hair that I grabbed. So, honestly, you just want to take the top just a little bit and then take that and pin it and get it out of the way. With the bottom half of your hair you're just going to grab it all and surprise, surprise put it into a ponytail feel like I've said the word ponytail so much in this video. Now, once it's in a ponytail, you are going to take down that top layer. That we sectioned off - and this is going to be your pouf on the top so take the dry shampoo, just spray it to the back and then take the wide tooth comb and just start teasing away. Fluffing away. You'Re going to see the texture of your hair change and the dry shampoo is going to give you so much added volume and it's also cleaning your dirty hair. At the same time, it is a two and one so once you have that layer of hair all placed how you'd like it on top of your head, you're, just going to start Bobby, pinning the back of it, and I like to try and hide the bobby Pins underneath my hair, that way, you don't see them, sometimes it's hard if you see them whatever, then you're going to take the other elastic, and you have to do this step very gently because you don't want to ruin the bobby pins and the nice poof that We'Ve created so I just wrap the band around two times. It doesn't need to be tight because you already have the ponytail underneath securing everything and then, of course, just take some hairspray to the top of your hair, and you are good to go. I think this one is my favorite ponytail. I just love this one. I love how it looks from the so that is all those are all three of my favorite curly, hair style. Ponytails. If you have straight hair, you can still drive the style. Oh, I just think with curls and you have more texture to work with in the description box below I will list all of the products. I'M also going to link my curly hair, routine video. If you haven't seen that click the link and go and check it out, and thank you guys so so much for watching, I really appreciate it. Devon D: I finally decided a year ago to embrace my curly hair instead of fighting it everyday with a flat iron. Thank you so much for these amazing tips! Any other videos you could post involving curly hair styles would be much appreciated!

theatergirl08: Wow, I finally found someone with very similar hair to mine! Mine gets frizzy though. What products do you use for that? Your hair before you started doing the ponytails looked so good! What do you use/ do to achieve that?

nOor van Rijn: Thank you!!! I have the same hair as you, just shorter and every time I search up “ponytail for curly hair” it shows up like Afros, so I just wanted to say you gorgeous and thanks

dumb doll: I'm watching this in 2017 but this really helped because I'm 10 and my mom is making me do my hair now

LSM Al-B.: Love this thank you

shreeya shreeya: I also have this type of hair ,and this really help me make more videos

Kalah Simpson: You're the first person I've seen with a hairline almost exactly like mine, so I have to ask do you get the unruly shorter hairs near the front that like to stick straight out? I can't figure out how to tame mine without either straightening or using a ton of hairspray

User_20: Thanks im going to try the two pony tail one before i get my haircut

H M: Do not open Bobby pins with your teeth. You can open them with the hand that is holing the hair, you’re going to place that pin in the back anyway. I know lots of stylists with chipped teeth, using your teeth is totally avoidable.

Leslie DiCocco: Such great ideas.

Lake and Franks: Looks lovely lizz
