Braided Headband Retro Ponytail - Hairstyles For Long Hair

Hi friends today, I'm going to be showing you this really pretty braided headband. That goes along with this perfect little ponytail. I curled my hair with a one-inch curling iron, but you can certainly have straight hair as well. First section off the front half of your hair on both sides and put the rest in a ponytail to get it out of the way. Next, you're going to start that French braid headband divide a small section of hair into three pieces at the left section over the middle section and then put the right section over the middle section, now grab additional hair on that left section of hair and put that Over the middle section then grab additional hair on the right section and pin it over the middle continue doing this all the way around your head, once you run out of hair to add to the braid, just continue with a regular three strand braid until you reach The ends of your hair, then just secure with an elastic in order to get that great volume at your crown, you're just gon na want to tease in order to do this just hairspray and then use a teasing comb to brush downwards. Do this? For several sections of hair, until you get that desired level of volume, flip your hair back over and smooth out that top layer to lock in that volume we're gon na secure the upper half of our hair with some bobby pins crisscross the bobby pins over each Other and an X formation use as many bobby pins as necessary to hold the hair in place, get sections of hair on the left and right side out of the way put the remaining hair in the middle and a ponytail grab. The left section of hair and wrap it around the base of the ponytail securing it with a bobby pin, grab the remaining hair on the right side and wrap that several times around the base of the ponytail and secure that with a bobby pin. Finally, you wrap the braid around the base of the ponytail and secure with a bobby pin, and now the look is complete.
