Ponytail Hair Tutorial | Quick & Easy!

Hi guys welcome back today, I'm going to show you one of my easiest and most favorite hairstyles of our. So, as you guys obviously know I cut my hair so because I do own and wear hair extensions. Thank you to foxy locks. I can go ahead and cut my hair pretty much as short as I want, and it's not an issue to me, because I can always just throw in my hair extensions, so I've never actually showed you guys how I wear my rapattoni from foxy locks. So I'm sure you guys have seen these before you guys have no idea how much I love my wrap pony. So in the past I used to just wear my normal clipping extensions and put them up into a pony. So, a few months ago, foxy locks actually came up with a wrap pony, and, oh my god, it is the easiest most amazing wrap pony ever I have tried other ones and they're just very difficult to use, but this whole concept of just popping the little gum. That'S a quarter clip into your hair, it wraps around, you wrap the hair and you just put like two bobby pins to secure it, and it is so so easy. So today I thought I would show you guys how quick and easy it is to do. My ponytail and I'm going to show you guys pretty much how I get all these really short bits to stay up and the products I use to kind of make it work. So don't think that if you have a super short bar, but you cannot rock a wrap pony - and this is a 100 % of human hair pony, so it looks super silky and soft and natural. They do make sure the lengths that I actually need to get myself a shorter one, maybe like a 16 inch just so I can wear it on everyday basis, so yeah this is the 26 inch black brown wrap pony. So, first I'm going to show you guys kind of how I secure my own hair and get up there. You want to make sure your own hair is super, secure and slick. So when you pop them a ponytail is pretty much good to go. So it's really easy to make it look like you paid a lot of money to get your hair done. So in the past I used to be able to just use a normal hairspray to sneak my hair up, but now that one I have a bobbin too. I still have all of these crazy little baby hairs little really everywhere from after I was pregnant. I need to use like heavy-duty products so to get my hair super sleek, I have to use the verified mega hold styling gel. I have this in two different types. I have the normal macaron and then I have the wet look. I don't know where the wet look is. I think it's actually in my. Ah, I merely lost them. I think it's been my drawing here somewhere. Yes, I have now I've tried a lot of hair gels that this is the one that I just always go back to. I'M pretty sure this is for men, I mean it doesn't matter, but, and it holds really well. I used to use PHA mods, which they hold well, but they leave so much white residue on your hair. So I just find these work really well to hold your hair down. They don't leave any residue and it actually looks really nice to have a little bit of shine to your hair, gel now or hair spray. If I'm just like spraying down my baby hairs or flyaways, I use normal spray, but for my ponytails and buns I use the shrub shrubs swat suave scott floss, soft shrubs. Oh my god. I cannot say it, but everyone should know that brand. So the first step to getting my ponytail fake is, I basically get a ton of hair gel, but what I do is get a ton of hair gel I'm and I pretty much just start pushing everything back, so I'm first gon na just run it through my Hair just to make sure the gel is really in there. If you don't have the hair, Jo, like really deep into the layers, then you're gon na have little Drive it's kind of popping up. If that makes any sense, so I'm not using the wet look. I'M just using the normal mega have a styling gel and then I add the wet look right and so for me, because I have so much short hair underneath I really want to push it up underneath I'm gon na. Do that one more! Don'T you buy more little pump, get it through my fingers and just make sure it's all in my hair, I'm not gon na worry too much about my baby is because I do like to lay a little bit of edges at the end, I'm wearing personal nails. So it's very likely that one of them all of them are going to pop off. While I film these, so we've ended up what we've nails by the end of this video. It'S because they press on. So I'm just gon na go eating with a brush and really firm everything down and just brush it back. So you guys can already see because of the hair gel all of my baby hairs and little hairs pretty much stuck and because my hair is literally this short underneath little bits will fall, but I'm going to show you guys how I get them up after. So if you add enough hairspray and crema right, you might not even have to have any bobby pins. I still like to hide one or two images to be safe, but a lot of the time. I'Ll just add this spray underneath and I will comb it and then it literally won't move all day and night. So you want a really sticky hair job, which is why I recommend this one, because your hair literally will not move. So I'm not gon na worry about my little sideburns or baby hairs to magic. I just want to make sure that all the bulk of my hair is super sleek, so I'm gon na pull that as tight as I can, and this part you got to be really careful that you don't kind of lose that strength. Oh, I just lost a nail - oh my god, that's so embarrassing, but we used to that. We made. I know so. I'M gon na wrap these around as many times as I can. I think I can get one more rock out of it. Yes, I can so. This is why I need a rap pony, because my hair is so short. It'S just super thin and there's honestly not that much going on up there. So I'm just gon na tighten this as much as I can before. I secure all these little hairs down here. So obviously, if you want it to be as secure as possible, I would recommend doing your pony a little bit alive if you do have a bob, but if you do want it to be super high and dramatic, like I'm doing it right now, I'll show you Guys what I do so I'm holding on my baby head - and I am gon na literally blossom with these hairspray and then I'm taking my little comb and I'm just going to keep brushing them up. So I do this a few times to just really get them up there and then once the hairspray dries that will literally go super hard and secure, and then I'm just gon na add one bobby pin and you want to make sure you get added in your Hair color, so you obviously can't see it so I haven't done anything fancy to my wrap pony. It'S literally just straight from the last time that I worried you can obviously curl it or wave it or do a little flip, and I just wanted to show you guys the most easiest way and that's straight so sometimes I'll leave some sideburns down, but because I'm Gon na really lame their edges, which I have been loving so much lately. So I'm going to brush up my sideburns, so there's no hair there and I'm really gon na focus my little edge. So I put these little edge, brushes off Amazon and they're so good. I can leave a link down below for you guys if you want to get these at all and brushes. It has a little comb and then a little bristle brush. So I like to use this brush growth to brush my baby has up and down so I'll. Show you guys what I do so I'm going to coat the brush in hairspray, so I can brush them off coz. If you go straight on with your hairspray, you put on your makeup, so it's on the brush and then I just literally brush upwards, and you can even do this way - the hedge, oh, if you want to and then for my little edges, I just get the Hair gel and I pretty much just push down. I also like to do this because, instead of adding like filler to fill in my hairline I'll, do this and it brings your hairline forward a little bit and then you don't have to make your hairline look too artificial, we're like powders and eyeshadow. I just like it because that adds character. It brings your hairline forward and I think it just looks cute, so I'm just going to do the other side as well. It'S really weird my baby here see differently on both sides, so I feel like it always looks. A little bit different, I can't say now for the fun part and the super easy part I'm just gon na leave, but for now, if there's anything else, I need to smooth over I'll do it after the ponies in so I will show you guys now how Easy it is to insert the pony so, like I showed you guys. Egg is a little clip here, so you literally just want to go in through the top of your Pony and push it in right on the middle. So that's pretty much how you're gon na secure it, and then you want to take the short bit and just tuck that under and then the billet has. The velcro is what you're going to wrap around the now. The velcro on the right side is attached to the left side so once you've wrap the velcro you're gon na have the piece of hair that comes to wrap around, so they specifically leave these, so you can wrap it around and hide your elastic. So what I like to do is give this a quick spray, so it will look super shiny and it just stays nice and strong once you wrap it and it just stops a little flyaways from kind of popping up too much okay. So now I've got that hair and I'm literally gon na keep wrapping it around the pony. Until that, there's none left and that's when you secure it with the bobby pin. So you want to make sure first you're covering the elastic and move it up as high as you can, so that it gives you a pony a bit more volume. This is like so awkward to do on camera. I'M just gon na throw my pony forward to make it easier. Okay. So now I am just securing that hair down with a bobby pin. I don't know if you guys can see very well. So I just like to add about two and then you can go in after and just pop them in. So I'm just going to give the pony a little bit of a brush just to make it look nice and safe again and just to pull through any hairs that are kind of like out of place. You guys this is by far the most amazing and Pony, say there is a little close-up of the hair. If you want to say that, like up close, if you don't want to soup out long glam 26-inch, you can get shorter ones. That will see it. A more wearable things like I think there are ones that start. Probably from around that length which, like I said, I really want to get one too, so I can wear it more of it every day. Just like you know, running errands sort of ponytail, I'm just so obsessed with this pony. You guys I'll, give you a little tour to see and see what it looks like, probably from the back, so you guys can see. It completely covers my short hair. You would never know that I have super short hair lying underneath this thing and the one thing that amazes me is other ones that I've tried in the past. You can see your short hair underneath popping through, but you cannot see any short hair through these. Sometimes my Institute buy like frizzy and curly, underneath I don't bother even straightening it and you can't even see it because this covers we hair.
