Welcome back you guys so today we're gon na. Do this super sleek, simple ponytail on my natural hair client! Today, I'm using effigy leave-in conditioner on my hair of already shampooed and conditioned her out so now, I'm just gon na do tangler and blow her out. So now that I've got her blown out, I'm gon na add some OGX vitamin E oil to her hair and then I'm going to straighten her hair out so that her ponytail will lay nice and flat. So then we're gon na go ahead and begin. So we want to part her hair off in a deep part, and then I'm going to this is where we're going to start the creation of the food. But I want to go ahead and part it all the way across, because I have to work in sections. I can't just do it all together, like I'm a section person here like even eating sections, so we're doing here. I have to do it in section. So, as you can see, I parted it all the way across and I'm just gon na go ahead and start with making the ponytail. I am using even 24-hour edge timer. The ultra-super hold. I'M only gon na apply that to her edges and then I'm going to use the guys to be free spray to do the rest of her hair to kind of freeze it in place. You'Ll see me come in and out with the Goss to be free spray. In my Sebastian hair spray, I use the Sebastian because sometimes when you're using the free spray, it gets hard and I can't really comment out versus the Sebastian. It holds what you're able to comb it out and the hair is now hard. It'S still kind of soft, but it keeps a mold, so this first ponytail, I'm just gon na put up just so I can kind of come back of the hair and get it all uniform and sleep you'll probably see me pop this rubber band a few times Or not because I did really show how many times I popped it, but I did pop it like three times because I'm a freaking perfectionist, so I needed to come out how I wanted to come out every every hair in place. So I did pop this rubber band like 16 times. So if you have to do what you got to do to get the perfect look, but I didn't want to show y'all that that many times because y'all would have been just like bored with you like her. If you popped it over, then one Mo's, so while I'm doing that, I'm going to use the gusts to be free spray, just to kind of freeze her hair in place now you'll see me, use the gust to be, and the Sebastian hairspray in and out, because The gots to be like when it gets kind of hard it gets kind of hard. So it's like kind of hard to come out and I didn't want to like be tugging and pulling on her hair throughout the whole thing, because I'm using damn her a whole can of gosh to be free spray. So I'll go in with my Sebastian. Sometimes, to get my mold because Sebastian holds it, but it doesn't make it hard. So when you see that don't be alarmed so I decided I didn't like just how straight that part was looking like. I want to kind of create like a little curve to it. So I'm just going to pull out some help, baby hairs from where I was going to start this new bed and I'm gon na just kind of mold it back into that side, and you see how it gives it a little curve. And it's not like super straight anymore, so that helps if you want that curve, looking part which are deep parts so yeah, and now I'm just gon na kind of call, my hair down just to kind of create the visual of what I'm trying to do with Her suit, I'm a visual person like I have to see what I'm doing. First before I started, and then I forgot that I didn't even ask her how she wanted her scoop, because some people don't want it down over their eyes or on their forehead, but she wants a deep swoop. So we had it to Bob down, so we're gon na use three bundles of bundle hair from some beauty supply. She got it from yeah. I did not use all three bundles more like two and a half, but I want to put a little bit off into her swoop. I did not start down like deep into the soup. I started closer to the top of her swoop, so I'm only gon na put like two rows of tray and yes, I did double them. So this first little said I'm gon na put on here is double, and then I'm gon na apply that now honestly, she didn't. You really need any hair her school, because her hair is already sticking pretty she's just wanted to ask something there for a little added fullness, and I also believe that just a little bit of hair helps the swoop stay together. Now the hair is slightly lighter than her hair, even though you can't really tell on here, but it is lightly just a little tad bit lighter than her hair. So right here, when I apply these next couple of tracks, I'm not going to apply the tracks to the very end of her hair I stopped maybe like. Is that an inch or a half inch? Well, I don't get close to the edge, as you can see here, and I'm gon na do the same thing on the other side. So when I do begin to swoop that the track won't get him up. In my way, when I'm trying to do the curve of the school, so now, let's start on this one yeah. This is the hard part for some people, but I'm gon na do it in sections. That'S the way, that's easiest for me and I feel like it's a good way for beginnings to start when you just like, I can go really. I used to be the queen of shoes. Don'T get me wrong baby back in the day once where Smoots, not spikes crimps and they bring the crimps back yeah. I'M definitely coming back to some videos where I'm going to do the old crimp styles that we used to wear a long time ago or when I was in high school. I graduated 2006 just on the aged, but yeah I'll have some videos for that. So stay tuned, but back to this hairstyle, so I'm just good, like I said, I'm just gon na work in sections and create this swoop. You want to build it that way. If you're beginning it's easier, okay, so boom, we got the super right. So now we're gon na grab some brave hair and I want to braid it into her hair. Now. Look I'm not the best brazier, but I can get it in there where to stay so don't be schooling on my braids, okay thanks and God bless. So I'm just gon na attach this braid and I'm gon na braid. It all the way down, because she does want a long, ponytail so and then the 14 inches is gon na make it longer so technically, it's gon na turn it to like. I probably a 30 inch ponytail - probably okay, now for real, but probably like those 26 22, but I'm just gon na break that all the way down. If you don't want the ponytail that long you're gon na go down there lengthen hair and then you will stop the ponytail. I mean the braid, I'm sorry, probably to like the middle of your clients back and it'll, make you shorter. So now I'm gon na take a stocking cap and cut it in half. I didn't want to take some Roberts and diamonds bun protective shields, some glue protector. I don't know, watch on sale today and I'm gon na apply it to her braids and just kind of stop it where her hair stops, so that that glue won't get on it. And then I'm gon na take that stocking cap and I'm gon na wrap it around making sure it covers every area of where her hair begins in stocks and then after I do that, I want to apply a little bit more glue protector onto the cap. Well, I guess it ain't, no captain, I'm Oh cuz, I'm tore it up and cut it up, but we're gon na apply some more glue protector on us of their stocking cap all all over it basically and then we're gon na sit her under the dryer and Still there dries, I think it only took her like probably 10 minutes to dry, if that, so you don't have to wait. This is not one of those hairstyles like. Oh it's supposed to be quick and easy, but you got ta sitting under the dryer. It'S like 10 minutes, probably five so they'll be all right up under the dryer and after that, I'm gon na go ahead and apply the bundle, hair, you're gon na take the first bundle and we're gon na apply a little bit of glue to it. Do not put a whole lot good and I'll try to go down the track, so you're being lazy, because your own glue as you go you're just gon na make a man's gon na get glue and unnecessary place to get it on these feet. So just take a little glue at a time on the track. In start at the beginning, at the tip of the track and wrap it around the end of the braid and you're gon na keep doing that all the way up, the braid shafts and that's going to create your extended ponytail, get it stemmed it. Okay, I actually safari again. They give me a thumbs up. If you are, they male come in if it seems simple and easy of something you can try at home. This is not a horror hairstyle to do you can even do it on yourself the same way, but yeah just give me a thumbs up, and let me know that y'all still watching and that you liking it in that you're learning. So now we're at the end of that Shrek. I'M just gon na go ahead and fill that off and look at that y'all. My parcel is pretty and it's just 14 inches a hair. So now we're gon na create our bands. So you just took a little bit of hair and we're gon na wrap it around, and I'm gon na grab that good, Oh pump, it I know, y'all saw me y'all, Hey pump it up some of us fight. We still believe in. I know I do but Papa don't get the job done right gives you certain things for well certain products with certain things that you just go through some stuff, you just don't let go and pump it up, I'm not letting it go, whether you like it or Not baby girl, I love what she's saying, but after I did that first band, I took another piece and kind of made the band a little bit thicker because that one's kind of thin, so I just took a little bit more of hair and wrapped it around And then I'm going to my handy-dandy pump it up again and I'm gon na blow drive it together so that the band doesn't come loose. But I'm at the graph, this good ol oil sheen and give us a ball of sunshine, so that this would be glossy and just shiny back to ya over duel with this hairspray and I hurt because I just like a nice shiny hairstyle that stands out, you Want people to walk up to you and me like a child hair, so yeah in the UM, her friend, I'm using this by motions. I actually found it under my drawer because I typically I haven't, used her spray and I don't know how long, but since they let me get back into these molded hairstyles, I don't hold it on that honey and this is it so y'all. Let me know what you think in the comments once again make sure you like subscribe, share this video and I hope, to see y'all again for another tutorial.

d35chae90: You are funny and so down to earth. I shared the video of when you did the "HOW TO FO AA QUICKWEAVE CURLY BEACH WAVE BOB/NO LEAVE OUT ON A PROTECTIVE CAP/DETAILED TUTORIAL" to my sister. Her response was...,"That was absolutely AMAZING and beautiful. Where is she? Let's go!" I said, "TEXAS"...., now that's what I'm thinking. Because I watched you do your own braids video and I think I heard you mention something about Texas. Quote me if I'm wrong. So back to me and my sister text. She responded back saying, "That's worth the drive to Texas"!!! I said, "HELL YEAH"!!!!! Meeka that was the first video that I saw of your's and I fell in love with that hairstyle. My sister and I usually wear quickweaves like that and we wear the NEW DEEP HAIR BY MILKY WAY which is similar. But, I've never seen this pretty hair before and you did an absolutely great job. After watching this I continued to watch your videos from then on out. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! A BLESSING!!!!! You're the first cosmetologist, hairstylist, that I've ever seen on YT that will show and let everyone see their craft, BUT, you SHOW AND TEACH!!!!! I LOVE THAT ABOUT YOU AND YOUR CHANNEL!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!! That goes to show what type of person you are!!!! To me, it's called SHARING IS CARING and my gratitude. GRATEFUL and I already know that just by watching your videos that you are grateful to God for this Gift that HE gave you and wanted to share it with the world. That's just how I'm thinking. I know during this time salons are closed and everything. But, I know you started as a kitchen beautician. LOL "ONE AT A TIME PLEASE LOL" Still gotta get that paper!!!!! You stay safe and Blessings to you. Keep doing what you do. Oh, if you look at my profile pic. That's when I had that Milky Way New Deep hair when I had a quickweave. PEACE OUT, and me and my sis not far, we're in Little Rock, Arkansas. Hop skip and a jump. Just when this mess is over with.

Kayda Jontí: When you add the tracks in the swoop do you glue it to the scalp ?

Shavonni Smith: Love it

Peggy Morrison: loved this

Sara McIntosh: The part is too far back and I think the tail of the pony would look so much cuter if it was thicker. But yes ma'am you killed it and you always do amazing work period. That is my unimportant opinion no shade at all. Because I myself do things others dont like or i wouldn't say dont like but would do differently, because I definitely love what you do. I am a hairdresser as well, I just started showing my work on social media and really putting in efforts to get clients. So I am not judging at all I have so much learning ahead of me. I really shouldn't even be giving a opinion or suggestion on anything but I think it would just be so "I got em jealous " pretty iff it had a fuller tail and the part for the swoop didn't go so far back(well covered it up a bit further), but you murder everything you do, you are inspiring to me I watch your videos everyday, and I can not wait to see you as a brand and having your own product lines and hair salons all over the United states,,, I definitely will be supporting you girl so just know I'm not throwing any shade

Nellz Baby: I need YOU to be my stylist!!! You’re very neat, kind aaaaaaand PROFESSIONAL aaaaaaand I love how you take care of your clients’ real hair!!! Come to Miami PLEEEASE❤️❤️❤️
