Super Sleek Long Braided Ponytail (On Natural Hair) | Protective Style | Arnellarmon

Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new welcome, so in today's video, I'm show you guys how I've been getting that braided ponytail, I'm wearing for the last few weeks or last two weeks or so. Oh no. I do like two weeks ago and I've been like wearing it ever since, because it's such an easy, like go-to style and a lot of you guys, asked me to do a video on it. So that is what I'm going to do something here. It'S like wet cuz um. Obviously I got the shower wet. It was a little one right there, but um I put some conditioner now and let it like sit in there and, like it sausage doing there just to make it easier for me to slip my hair into a ponytail. Now the times I've done this style. I'Ve actually had my hair straight, however, just easier to manage my hair. Sometimes when it's wet cuz, I want it straight. It'S like yeah. You need to lay really really flat, but it's like unless you put like a lot of product all throughout your hair. You'Ll end up getting the front laying flat and then the parts underneath don't lay as flat like unless you let go lay by layer make a product don't know if that makes any sense at all, and I don't like doing that and when you don't do that. It'S not as flat so I'll. So let me just wear my hair just do it this way, so I'm gon na use two parts to create my ponytail, my knees just edged control. You use any edge control, but this one is like balm. It'S called instinct control. This looks like I like it: oh I'm you Bakos dojo in order to like lay this down, I'm gon na start with the Eco style gel and then I'll go over with the edge control. I just how I do things. My hair is was already a ponytail, so it's gon na be very easy to do this by the way this style. If your heads big it's gon na make it look bigger than it already is, just letting you know cuz every time I got ta live with this hairstyle dying comments like oh, your head looks huge yeah yeah that just comes with this hairstyle. It'S breasts, look hurts a little bit, so I'm trying to like be gentle. So with this ponytail you can do it high or low I'm gon na. Do it like directly in the middle. My head, like the back of my head, kinda like how it sits. So, like part like right here, I've done a high. Before I don't know, I like these kind of ponytails, like a straight back, I'm gon na take the edge control. Let'S start brushing that on top could actually makes even more slick. This doll is really easy. I'M trying to think what even inspired me to do what I did it, because I know I did it. It was like two days before I'd had that bad date that I didn't get rid of me for I'm talking what made me. I think I just won a ponytail, but I do my luck. Do a bundle I was like you know. Let me sure I braided ponytail, but I'm happy like I waited before filming it because, like I learned a better way to do it, that like looks more natural, so I'll show you guys like what I do now versus what I was doing at first, when I First started doing this just so, you can like avoid doing that. The scrunchies I use they're not like the regular hair tie they're the ones that are like super soft. I don't know what they're called I just liked them. I thought they're more gentle on my hair and I don't know that's why I use so. I'M gon na put me on a ponytail. It'S not slick just yet, I'm not done. I'M not gon na bunny, I'm just gon na, like just let it do its thing, because when I first did this style, I put in a little bun and it makes it harder to make the ponytail lay in a natural way, because when we do a little Bun, you know when you do the ponytail. You also have to put the ponytail base around that bun. So it's hiding and it's just the way I'm gon na show you guys it looks way more natural. That way, so that's hot been doing it lately, but the way I'm gon na show you how to do. It is actually easier to do when your hair straight, but I'm gon na, manage to do what my hair is wet, because I mean you may not put heat on your hair, so I'm just really slicking this down almost because part of it, because I don't this. Be super long right now, I'm gon na lay my edges get that out the way I don't like, leaving these little pieces out like how that looks. I'M making that faces etiquette 12 brushes, like kind of stiff and hard buddy like it does the job. It sounds like I kinda just have to go through it once you mulch your hair down, like kind of slick it. Obviously you like to mix the hair a little harder to work with taking the brush. I used to do a little like soup in my forehead, but I kind of like how it looks just slicked back like this. I don't know I look more like my mom this way, so I like that. So that's what I do go back over that with a softer brush. I'M gon na go with that. What a softer smaller brush with a special barrel detail, but it's like bigger like it's longer, so I go back over it with a smaller one, just to really get some more detailed going on. All right sounds cool to me I'll go back later. If I want to add like more like you know, do you know some more, but that was cool all right before I get my plane tell them so to go over this with a very smooth fresh. I use different brushes. If you couldn't tell I kind of start off with a very like hard brush the work done, then this brush is hard, but not as hard as the first one. And then this brush is like hard like medium and then I go back over with a soft brush like smooth and like complete. Everything seems like a lot, but that's what I do make friends is a pretty cheap. I mean at the new spy store and two dollar brushes. So that's what I do, but for the hair, I'm gon na use the Rasta three. I don't know what the long Sakata Rastafari and I realized later rostov free. I use number one I mean obviously like it doesn't matter cuz. I need your hair color, it's the one, you'll get. I get the prestressed one. So that's why I use, but I want like a pretty long length of the day and I want something different. So I have this hair to braid, so it looks like a black to light brownish color. So I'm going to add that at the ends of the braids, just to just I don't know have fun. So I take the hair and I obviously got braided, because I'm not gon na keep it in this braid and what I do honestly speaking like you, can keep the robe and it comes with because I mean you're not gon na see that. But I take a scrunchie and okay, I'm doing some most simple way: ticket scrunchie and in the middle you know ops with rubber band s. I take it and I loop it through and tie it like this, I'm pretty sure you've seen that be done before cuz. I don't think that's new, I doubt it I'm almost positive. It'S not. I didn't Bend this, so I do like that and then here's what I do so leave my hair right. I put the bundle. Come on my hand like this, you guys see and pull my neck is not dry. I tie it, but I make sure that it's on top that way after I tie it, it lays down like this. I pray that it's in focus. I hope I hope it's in focus. Oh that's gon na be cute too. Okay, here on my face, I have until thousand focus. I'M gon na feel really bad. There was it. Let me see, I'm gon na grab my mirror and see it stays a focus. I'M gon na listen focus enough: okay, okay, it's so we're doing this and not being a look, so you have two parts right and then you have your real hair out now. Obviously this is meat easier. Your hair straight but, like I said with a man, should do it wet, so both parts Topher's, don't focus. I take a section from this hat like maybe like half of it ready, and I take a section from this hat cool and I combined out my national hair and then I braid it into that and obviously, like you know, the braid hair is gon na cover. My natural hair and so make sure my hair is tucked, and then I just break that okay nectar now round it's easier to tuck my hair, when it's dry, cuz, obviously blends with the hair more by the way, guys I'm no professional. Obviously, if like, if you go to the professional stylist, so probably it's like live better or neither never. You may think, but a lot of times works for me and as long as it looks good and cute, but I think it does a lot of matters. I'M gon na go back in and tuck my hair later. Okay, so when I get this part, I actually stop. I'M gon na open another pack of hair cuz, you're gon na add hair at this point, so to make it longer. Okay, now I'm gon na, like section this into three pieces, I mean you're gon na sexually, based on how thick you want your ponytail the beat, but I want to be a pretty thick ponytail, maybe yeah section up like that. Okay and now so I actually teach myself how to do this and the Miss of doing it and the way I teach myself I do hair I just like go for it and just figure it out as I go, so I noticed that you've been pretty much Doing a beat in so like when I get to this part where it's like broke up into two sections before I loop it. I just take this hair and I just add it in and then I just continue to braid that it's tricky at first, but it becomes easier than where you do it, and so you see how this part started thin out. That'S why I know where to add hair next, so can I get that section over here? Wait uh, I heard no. I don't want to thin out more hair and now I'm gon na add more hair, because now I got this thinner section on this side. We'Re just easy for me out of hair. You see, I might add another piece always make sense: I'm not professional braider. So if I could do it, you could do it to you. Okay, so keep braiding. I'M add one more piece of hair: I'm also gon na save some of this hair because um it gets tingly too. By the way I mean it's not it's not terrible, though, but like don't let it bother you, I'm gon na save some of this hair because I needed to wrap around the base in my ponytail so say like pretty much a good amount, so you have hair To wrap your ponytail, so obviously it looks more natural. You got ta see braiding down, things are looking pretty good and why don't you do this? The better? It gets to be honest, I'm gon na do this for two weeks now, so I should be pretty good at it. Okay now I want to add the colored hair, either this hands a different texture. I hope my little get it to blend we'll see if not take it out, but I did this the other day with this purple hair it'll look pretty so. Let'S hope this does the same thing. We don't mess up dude. Let'S see how this looks. My a didn't - I hope this looks. Okay, I think I paid enough to wear, you know should be okay, don't beat yourself up of your braids, I'm even by the way it's mixed. We got that deep, still gon na look cute when it gets the bottom. It gets a little harder cuz like a different angle: okay, yeah we've been it out too much Jesus Christ. It does not look perfect. They still excuse me. Alright is braised so long guys when you get the bottom, it gets kind of hard. So I'm gon na wrap it around this side. So I can hang over. My shoulders was easier. Our bandit I'm using oh man that um, oh, my god, I'm so close! You guys when you arrived in that came with the hair, the bundle. So if you don't have our advanced user open the King on one year, hair packages - King, like bet so you want to you - could get bit to like to seal it. But I kinda like how this looks. Oh I don't mind like that. I think I did. Okay, job on this braid so now to finish it off. Obviously you know you want the backs of natural. I'M gon na take the piece of hair I had earlier or that I saved earlier and here's I'll do. That'S all about the focus. I start from the bottom like this, and I lay that part my shoulder and take this wool and wrap it like this just to secure it. It'S so hard to be thorough, seeing it and then I take this part and I wrap it and I used to my hands a bill of I'm doing. I want to cover that scrunchie honestly, so I stress the hair out a little bit to cover that scrunchie to make sure you can't see any of that like that, and because I break that here into my natural hair, the ponytail is really secure. I notice it's more secure that way, like felt cool, I have a go look at my mirror, but when I was doing the way were like I was starting off with a bun. It wasn't that secure, but because they hadn't braids into my hair, it's pretty secure. So, let's get to me last steps: I'm gon na take this spray, this Fritz rights conference rights prints - oh my god, and rub that on here just make sure it stays flat and laid, and because my hair is shining in this brain hair, I just take shine Spray and I spray all over the braid - it's just so it matches with my house all right and then we're done. So that's pretty easy right. I love this style. It'S really cute. It'S really simple! I just do a spin around can't use it back. You know that my hair sticking out - oh yeah - this is really good, really neat focus on me, and I guess that concludes this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it off. I honestly would recommend your hair straight though, because it just it's easier to blend it with this hair cuz my wet hair, it's like I did. I just know that it's not like perfect per se, which I won't die over that but like I know that when I did this point, oh, I wasn't like two days ago when I had it um it it just. It bleeds way better when your hair is straight and it matches this hair this texture. So if you don't mind gon na here in your hair, do that if you want a more than flawless plan, tell nothing you're! Fine! I mean pretty sure, there's other videos on the internet. I'M sure that like has other ways to do this style without putting here on your head, I'm ashamed of the way I taught myself how to do it and the way that works for me so yeah.
