Hi, I'm Don bewdley co-founder before international and we're here in San Diego California, at the u4u school hi, I'm here with Mears our global educator from your for international and today we're going to show you how to do a female pompadour. The first thing you want to do is take a parting horseshoe parting from right, the recession point of your hair, all the way around across the crown and to the other side, you're going to section off the top, because that's the part where the pompadour is actually Happening everything else you want to just pin up in the back. However, you want to do it. We just did a nice little easy twist and we left that ends out because we're going to play with those once we do the pompadour. So you want to eliminate as much of the hair underneath as you can first then, to the best calm to use to make your pardon would be a rat tail comb, a little rat tail comb exactly like this. That just gives you a point in the end where you can easily go in and part the hair. Absolutely there's a couple different ways to go about doing a pop before on top for women, you can curl these sections back coming off the face. If you want a little bit more texture, if not, you can just section about a one-inch section and you're going to do a little bit of back combing at the front and now the front once you brush it back. You want this to lift straight off of your forehead, so you want to make sure that when you're teasing it you're over directed to the front, push the comb in and push back so that you're building that foundation starting right at the forehead. Okay, so that once it's up, you actually have a direct straight up, shot there, okay and you're, going to do this all the way through the entire top section. So you're really just taking your comb and you're developing a pillow for the hair to sit on exactly so. It'S like three or four times nice and gentle very easy. We also prepped the canvas with a hair spray, just to give it a little bit more feeling because the hair is so soft and it also allows the hair to last longer or last longer and, like you said, the hair is too soft. If you don't and then neither the teeth nor the pompadour will hold if your hair is too soft, so once that's done, the tease is set in you're, going to take that whole section all together and simply swing it back off the face. Now you just adjust the front to your desired level of volume and it's always good to start up more dramatic because you can brush it out on versus not doing enough of a tease so that you have to go back in and redo it. Then you take your comb again and you simply smooth in place the hair where you want it, and you want to be careful you're not going too deep to take the teasing out exactly you know, you're, just taking the smooth part that you didn't tease and just Combing it over the tease, exactly push forward a little bit, yeah go ahead and spray spray spray, and you want to like Don said, you want to make sure you're using a working spray. So it doesn't get too stiff on you too fast, and then you really can't do much else with it, but a working spray will allow you to be able to keep combing through the hair and continue to build yep. So now all we did is take that top section the ends and we wound it around or previously existing knot in the back use, one bobby pin and it's secure so that all the hair is up and eliminated. And now all we're going to do is using our hands, we're just going to spray and detail it and usually heated your hands to mold, absolutely no to lay the hair down and then it's always cool to put a nice shiny. You know mist on the hair. That'S not really oily or having, and that that'll be your finishing then exactly so shine makes anything. Look better in the hair right, shiny hair is healthy, hair is pretty, it makes you look much younger and there we go great. So that's how you do a female pompadour!
