Sleek Ponytail On Short Natural Hair | South African Youtuber

Hi guys welcome back to my channel, i'm back with another video and on today's video i'm going to be showing you how i got this ponytail that i have on here and the hair that i used to achieve. This ponytail was sent to me by end mode, which is an aliexpress hair vendor. I will link them in the description box below they sent me this hair last year. It was, i think, about four bundles, and this is one of them, and this one is the 22 inches i haven't used it. I will use it maybe next time, but the one that i used here was 20 inches and it's in the color i think 1b. I love love, love this hair. It'S like super soft. It'S like a 3b texture. It'S not kinky kelly, so i absolutely love it. So if you want to see how i achieve this, ponytail then keep on watching. So, first i'm going to create an anchor braid right where my ponytail is going to sit. So it's going to be somewhere here and to create my anchor braid, i'm using some expression, braiding hair. So first i'm going to make it small. So i'm going to use small hairpiece so because my hair is short and i want it to be like super strong, i want this hairstyle to last, like at least like a few days, so i'm going to create a small braid first. So this is like really really strong, but it's not thick enough for my ponytail to grip on so i'm going to create another braid on top of this one for volume. So now i have a strong and thick braid, so this should work. But before i go ahead and attach my hair, i'm going to slick down my hair, so first i'm going to apply some of my jamaican black, castor oil, which looks like this next i'm taking my mpl oil and i'm also going to apply it all over. My hair, especially on my skull and my edges, and just massage it all over my hair and next i'm taking my retail comb, i'm going to do a middle path and to slick my hair. Today, i'm using my eco styler gel and this one is in olive oil. So, starting from the path, i'm just laying my hair down towards the ponytail, hmm and next i'm taking this comb and i'm going to brush through the gel and make sure everything is coated and laid next, i'm going in with my hard bristle brush and next i'm Taking a hair tie, i'm going to tie my hair to the pony and just rub it around, and i'm also going to wrap it around to form a little bun. So now that everything is laid down flat, i'm taking my rabbit strips, so i'm only using two. Just to hold down the edges and the back, but i'm also going to add in my hair scarf, so i will be back once my hair is dry and then we can continue with the ponyta. So i'm back now with my hair. All dry, like it's super dry, actually waited for about three hours and yeah, so my hair is like completely dry. Like it's super dry, let me show you the back, so this is how the back looks. So i'm just finger combing the hair, because i want it to be a little bit loose and fuller. So this is how it looks so to attach my ponytail i'm going to take one end first and wrap it around my little bun that i already have here. So i'm going to turn around so once that is done. I'M gon na start ripping the hair around to form a ponytail and after rounding it about five times i take like a bobby, pin and secure it and then continue wrapping and i'm taking another bobby pin. This time i'm going to put it in the bottom here and then continue wrapping. So once i get to the end of the bundle, i'm taking a few curls here and i'm just going to rub them around the whole ponytail and i'm taking another bobby, pin, i'm going to pin on the side and another one on this side. And now i am taking like expression, braiding hair and i'm going to comb it out, making sure there are no noses or tangles like everything is like super smooth so and then take one end of the hair piece and wrap it around my ponytail. So this is the final look, i'm not gon na add any product on the ponytail. So this is how it looks on this side and the back and the other side.
