Diy Ponytail Haircut (Long Layers)

Lord help me I've been watching Pinterest and YouTube: DIYs, Hey howdy, hey trainwreck. How are you today And the glorious trademark mom, if this is your first time here? Welcome aboard train wreck? Glad to have you here. This channel is a safe space for all train wrecks except here.. We don't give you a puppy in a latte. We give you sarcasm and humor, So some of you may know some of you don't last week. I quit my job. That'S an understatement. I walked out Straight up a whole lot.. I'M not gon na put the company on blast, not gon na put the boss on blast just gon na say that I walked out So we're just gon na leave it at that. So, as You may know, as a woman, What do we do when we do like big, life-changing things? We cut the hair, but wait. I can't go to no stylist, not like. I went to one before and It's been two years since I've cut my hair.. That'S no exaggeration, by the way, two years ago, this did not exist. None of this existed. This was pretty much shaved On the back and a little bit of a floof on the top carol. Pelletier from The Walking Dead was the inspiration for my hair and I wound up looking like my mother, circa 1987. So Not no offense mom.. I love you but the hair seriously. So yeah none of this existed two years ago, but I'm a chick. I got ta. Do things with my hair, So it's not like I can afford to go, get my hair cut now. So I looked on Pinterest and YouTube For some inspiration and I found out you can cut your hair in layers from home. So let's get this started Because you know you want to see this happen, so this is the hot mess unbrushed, It's been freshly washed smiles and I already have some layers because, like I said, I didn't have my hair cut in two years. The last time I had it cut well, It was pretty horrible, so just zip through this ow ow ow, Are you kidding me? This was brushed.. I promise you guys. You guys are gon na see Why I refer to myself as a Pomeranian that looked a light. Socket Because let me tell you rockin, the white girl fro Is what I do best. Okay. So Now we have it all brushed out., Okay. So this is What The creature looks like. Oh my god., I am a shedding hound. Oh My lord. I could make a small dog off of all of this anyway. This is what it looks like and I'll even do a spin around make sure I don't hit the mic., So you guys can see Right now From behind you guys, never seen it From that angle, because you guys are usually looking at this. You don't look at this.. This is no fun. Trust me. This is It's nothing, so This is what they said to do brush out the hair And then That's supposed to Brush it out. Some more Don't make fun of my dad job.. I heard that I Know I know It's gon na get worse before it gets better., I'm supposed to turn myself right here And we're supposed to gather it all up and make the world's most awkward ponytail Without hitting like Magical. Oh My god. This is awesome, but yeah dude look cuz of it. This is the best thing ever. Why don't? I do this all the time? Okay, so Then we brush it out some more because apparently, brushing is a thing So brushing brushing brushing you guys.. This is like ASMR.. Just hair brush Okay, I just got like 16 subs doing it. Okay, so then you're supposed to take another rubber band or hair tie and Basically get as far to the end as you're wanting to cut off as You can, I'm not wanting to lose a whole lot of length, but there's a whole lot of tragic happening here. There'S split ends. There's dead ends. It like it's been two years Couple die jobs., I'm not even gon na pretend.. This is a tragic hot mess. Okay seriously, So we're gon na go ahead and I'm honestly, like I said, not gon na cut off a whole lot. We'Re just gon na go from about there And we're gon na Tie it down. Look I'm already losing pieces. Okay, then I'm supposed to cut this off here Moment of truth. You Blunt cut. Oh My god. I cannot believe I'm doing this If they're not be another. Pin fail Now, of course, all these chicks, who did it all had like shears and like their own tools Like they all went to cosmetology school., I'm over here straight up using a pair of Walmart scissors. Do you hear my hair? Oh my god. Oh My god. You guys Fun because it's not exactly because it's supposed to be like in blunts at the end., I'm sure If I have way better scissors, which I looked for, I could not find the bone cutters Yeah. We totally have bone cutters in the house by the way. Oh, my god, Okay, I think it just about Got it To a non humiliating look But of course, I'm a train wreck. So who knows? I Mean It's really not going to matter in the end, because I just wear my hair up in a ponytail okay. So now we're gon na Take that off It doesn't look so bad. I mean honestly, I can tell you my uh. It looks healthier, It doesn't look as beat down as it did. It looks soft. Actually, I Have a love-hate relationship with my hair for real.. I love it. It hates me All right so here. We go moment of truth.. We take down my magical, mystical, unicorn horn, Lift the hair. Oh thank you catch that should be in slow motion for Johnson. We're gon na brush this monstrosity out.. I think it's actually out Really, I literally just brushed this. Are you kidding? Okay? Now I saw a couple, so this is what we got when I'm working with now, I'm going to spoon around and show you all the results, and I will judge by my husband's reaction How bad this really okay. So this is what I'm working with now.. This is what I've got.. I can't see it. I have no idea what this looks. Like I Mean I can see it kind of in the mirror, And my hair does have some layering Going on.. Let'S see if I can see it up front here, Um yeah! So what I wanted to get accomplished got accomplished the dead ends and the split ends are gone, which was totally the whole reason for doing this, Because it was looking kind of ride me seriously. I'M sort wretched. I've heard that word., I'm cool., I'm hip. I can hang with the cool kids., So yeah it was looking pretty ratchet, But yeah I mean in it's softer now. It really doesn't feel like Bert Barbie hair anymore. So that makes me happy Yeah I know. It doesn't feel pokey or like a spider crawling up. My arm anymore, So that's you, know, bonus nachos there um, so not an entire. I don't know exactly what it looks like and but it doesn't matter. You know why, Because like all trainwreck moms, I have an official hairstyle. That goes Like this Because, in the end, Who's got time to style their hair, Wouldn't you're a train wreck mom.
