Hey guys, so today's video is gon na, be a hack that i saw on tick tock and i was like i have to show you guys it is brilliant, so let's not waste any time and get started so for this hairstyle. All you need is a ponytail holder, it's so easy! This is literally going to take you 25 seconds. So for the first step, you just want to put your hair up into a regular ponytail. So here's my ponytail it's a little flat, not very voluminous, but we are going to change that so for this ponytail trick. You just want to undo one of your last ponytail loops, so i'm just taking it off and you're just going to twist it around your finger and then you're going to split your ponytail into two sections. So you have a top section and then a bottom section. Now, with that hair tie, instead of tying it around your whole ponytail you're just going to tie it around the bottom section, this is what's going to give your ponytail lots of hidden volume. So once you tie off that bottom section, you should be left with the top section like mine, and all you want to do is just tighten the bottom section, so just give it a nice tug and then you're going to flip that top section over and then Just tighten the top section, and this is what your ponytail should look like. It should look a lot thicker a lot more voluminous. Can you believe we achieved this ponytail without any teasing or any extensions, because i can't and i'm still in shock. Gomba13: Mkay, so I have thin and fine hair, and I have been using the bobby-pin-through-the-ponytail trick, and although it lifts the ponytail, it also sort of pushes the hair to the sides, so the ponytail looks wider from the back but flatter from the sides. Not good. I have just been thinking about doing this exact thing, only I was thinking of doing the last loop in the top section and not the bottom one. I just haven't tried it yet. Although I made the mistake of using the loop in the wrong section of hair, I was apparently on to something! I will however try both ways and see the pros and cons of each. I am guessing both will work because it is separating the two sections that really creates the volume.
