Hey everyone welcome back to the Lexi Channel. My name is Missy from Missy sue and today I'll be showing you how to recreate the fishtail braided ponytail. This is a great hairstyle for everyone to know how to do so. I hope you enjoy the tutorial and let's begin since our third hairstyle I'm going to clip in some extensions. So I just like to bring all my hair up to see where I want my ponytail to fit, and then I'm going to divide the hair right in front of that slot and clip in to single clip extensions. Then I'm going to bring down a layer of hair and clip in two more single clip extensions. This just helps add a little bit of length and thickness to the overall hairstyle. So then, I'm just going to brush all my hair into the ponytail and tie it off with a hair band. Now I'm going to braid this ponytail into a fishtail braid, so I'm splitting it into two equal halves. Then I'm going to take a small section from the left side and cross it over to the right side. Then I'm taking a small section from the right side and crossing it over to the left side. This is the basic technique behind a fishtail braid. So I'm just going to repeat these steps: continuing to cross small sections from one side over to the opposite side, alternating between the left side and the right side and raising all the hair down to the end when the brain reaches the bottom, I'm going to go Back over the braid and pull on the edges, this just makes the braid a little bit wider and more full and then I'm tying off the end of the braid with a clear elastic band. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. I think this is a great hairstyle for every day and can be stabbed a number of different ways.
