Hi guys welcome to my youtube channel today. I want to show you how to make your own afro drawstring ponytail now to begin. You need one pack of afro hair. Then you need your ponytail net for the installation, drawstring ponytail net. Another thing you need is your crotchet pin. This is very important too. You need combs as well, two combs cub needles and thread your t, pins and scissors. Now we'll go straight to the process, i have to sew these combs on the ponytail net. The two of them are two ends of the ponytail net, i'll sew, the combs on it now watch how i'm gon na do this most times. People use glue instead of sewing, sewing it to the net, but i always recommend that you, you use your the sewing method, because most times the super glue will get weak and it will fall off over time. So please, if you can just use your needle and thread for a stronger hold and grip and long lasting. Please just do the things the right way so watch how i'm going to sew this onto the nets on the two ends. Pack of these combs in the market, a pack of 10 to 12 pieces cost about 8, 500 naira, that's about three to four dollars. So if you can get them and sew the better for you when you're done sewing, you cut off the thread and you tie it tightly to secure both loose ends. Using your scissors, you cut off the excess thread. Now i'm trying to sew the second comb to the other end of the ponytail nets. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you might find ponytail nets in the market that already have these comb. Now we're done with our ponytail nets with the combs attached. As you can see, everything is neatly done and the combs are secure on the nets. Now we have to put our drawstring net on the canvas block head or the mannequin head and secure with your t-pins before you start installing your afro kinky hair, secure with as many t-pins as possible, then bring out your hair. You cut off those packaging threads and begin to install. Now you do not want to install your head too, big or too tiny per time, because the holes on the ponytail nets are not so wide, so you do not want to pass so much hair through them. So that they do not tear so just check your nets, because all the nets are not the same sizes check the one you buy, then you know what amount of hair you'll be able to pass through it. If you do not know how to use a crochet needle to install hair, kindly leave a comment, maybe one of these days i'll, do a video on how to do crochet installation, it's not really a difficult thing to do. If you can't see what i'm doing i'll do an up close video to show you what to do and how to go about it, just leave a comment in the comment section and subscribe to the channel. Now we're almost done with the installation. What i'm trying to do is to fill up all these spaces that are left to give it a neat finishing when you're done, you see the results and everything neatly done all spaces covered. You do not want to have a ponytail with spaces showing, so you have to cover up all spaces, make sure that all the spaces on the net are hidden either with hair or with hook, and this is a final result of our diy drawstring ponytail. You can see how it looks. Please guys subscribe to my channel, give it a thumbs up. Leave a comment in the comment section give your recommendations. You can see the net, how neat it looks with the combs attached.
