Flox Hair Ponytail Wig Review *Game Changer*

Hello, everybody and welcome back to my youtube channel on the art of alopecia. For those who don't know me, my name is marcy and i have an autoimmune condition called alopecia universalis. Basically, what that means is my immune system mistakenly attacks, my hair follicles, and that is why i am completely bald and balding throughout my body and on this channel. I just talk all about hair loss all about life um in order just to continue raising awareness, normalize, baldness and to support and inspire others to you know embrace themselves for who they are so i know you guys have been waiting a long time for this video Ever since i announced that i got the package, i know a lot of you have been asking: when are you posting your view? When are you posting your reviews, so today's the day, i'm finally going to be reviewing my ponytail wig by phlox hair? Obviously, i am not in my normal background, but my poor puppy. She just got major surgery, so i am in the living room with her um just so that she doesn't feel alone. I might be able to show you guys what she looks like she's, it's just so sad one sec, but here she is. This is hope she should be laying down but she's. Just looking out the window, hello, hopey, oh hello, that's good girl lay down lay down. No, she just wants to look at the window. Okay anyway. I just thought why not you know just film it here and keep a close eye on her, and you know just give her my love and support. I felt like when we brought her to the vet. She kind of felt a bit abandoned um, so you know i'm just trying to you know: reverse her reverse her brain into. You know not hating me, but anyway, she's gon na be okay for those who have been following me on instagram knows that i received this incredible wig that i'm absolutely obsessed with and for those who also follow me on instagram would have seen me having like a Mental breakdown on my story a few weeks ago when i wrote when it arrived um. I just got so incredibly emotional when i got this hair piece because for the first time - and i don't even know how many years i was able to put my hair up in a high pony and for those who have alopecia or struggle with hair loss, they Can understand how hard it is to find a wig that you can put up in a high pony? Definitely you can put in a low pony. Any wig can do that, but it's like that high pony or that messy bun that you know every yellow, fusion just misses and with this i'm able to - and i am so happy about it anyway - i just had a mental breakdown, i'll, try and insert that footage. Here, um or right now for those who haven't seen it, it was just it was an emotional day and i'm so thankful guys. It'S me um. I just wanted to hop on here because this is like a really emotional moment for me and i'm just i'm trying not to cry so much, because i want to get the words the cross. I just received my ponytail wig from phlox hair. I can't remember the last time that i attempted to put one of my wigs in a high pony, and now i can, but now i can i can just i can be like a normal girl and you know, wear a little lemon headband and put in a High pony or a messy bun, like i've, totally accepted my alopecia, and i love myself and i love who i am bald. But that's the one thing that every hair loss person can understand is finding a wig that you can put your hair in a ponytail and there are some out there like full lace. Wigs like i could probably do it with my noella wig um, but i really would have to glue it down, but this is just such an easy way to do it and it looks amazing it feels so soft and yeah. I'M gon na i'm gon na post a review for you guys, but i just wan na hop on here, because i'm just i'm so happy like look how beautiful that color is but yeah. I just want to hop on here to let you know how happy i am to the point that i'm crying. So thank you, fox hair. Everyone go check them out. I'M sure you know with like full lace. Wigs if you just glue down the bottom you're, totally able to put it in a high pony. You just really have to go through all of that effort to glue it down and make sure that it doesn't. You know peek up, but today i'm finally going to be showing off this gorgeous ponytail wig from philox hair and i'm going to be reviewing it for you guys. So, if you're interested then keep watching alrighty friends so before i show you the actual wig um, i just wanted to quickly show you the box and what comes in the box because i'm absolutely blown away. This is by far the cutest wig box that i have ever gotten and there's not much to it, but i love the color and i love how vibrant it is and it's such a sturdy box. It got a little bit damaged in the mail, but you know what it's still so sturdy and it came in great condition: um and it's one of those boxes with the tabs for extra security, which is amazing, um and then inside i love. I love the freaking color palette, it's just so beautiful, so that is what the inside looks like, and the first thing that i got was this cute little envelope and inside there is a handwritten letter. Just a thank you letter, which i think is such a cute and adorable touch um. It just makes you feel it makes you feel good. You know when it's not just like a printout thank you card that they send everyone. She actually took the time emily, the owner she took the time to you know thank you for supporting small businesses and um yeah. It'S just so sweet and also another thing that you will find inside this envelope. Um is your receipt, which is always great to have the other goodies that come in. She also gives you um a phlox hair, hair grip, which is always great to have um. I don't feel like. I need a wig grip when i'm wearing um the ponytail wig, because it is actually quite snug. Um and quite you know, secure on my head, but i will definitely keep this for my other wigs. Then she gave another kind of wig grip. This is kind of like the plasticky, i don't even know what kind of material this is. Maybe like silicone um, it's just another kind of wig grip that other people prefer it's great, that she gave both options, because i know some prefer these ones and some prefer. These ones it's just based on preference, then the next thing, which is actually something that i haven't, opened uh it's just like this bag of goodies and i'm so excited to see. What'S inside, so i'm gon na open it with you guys right now. Okay, so it looks like oh, i love these scrunchies, it's like the thai scrunchies, oh and it's so soft. It'S like a velvet material, how beautiful oh and this is flock's hair. That'S so cute! I'M definitely gon na wear this. When i put my hair in a pony - because i can do that because i have a ponytail wig um and then she gave me another kind of like a satin silk scrunchie, which is so beautiful, i love this color. This is probably my favorite shade of pink. Then the next thing is a wig cap which is always great to have. I don't usually wear wig caps because i don't have any hair um, but these are just super handy um. If you do wear them. I don't know what this is. What is this? It'S called a smoothie, smoother our smoothies. Our smoothie smoother, is great to either integrate your bio hair to the front hairline. Oh, so it's like! Oh, i get it it's kind of like a mini brush. If you do have like your own bio, hair, um, it's to help, you know kind of blend in the bio hair, with the alternative hair. This is so great and then it comes with their business card. That is it for everything in the box. As i said, i'm completely blown away. I love being surprised with. You know, goodies um and you know items just to help. You know style my new wig. I think it is such an amazing touch when businesses you know put in a bit of like free samples - and they really, you know, focus on their packaging because you know you are paying so much money for this wig and it's nice to kind of get a Little bit of extra, but without further ado, i am going to show you this gorgeous wig. So if you're interested and if you've made it this far, i'm sure you are interested. So let's throw her on okay guys here she is. She is absolutely stunning. I'M going to turn the light um, so it's facing you know the natural lighting, but she is in a gorgeous caramel twist color and i believe she is 21 inches long. She kind of has like a bit of a natural wave um, and i believe this is in the cap. Size, small or maybe it was a smaller medium i'll definitely check that out. But the thing that i am absolutely obsessed with is that it is virgin european hair and for those who wear wigs, know that virgin european hair is the best way, the best hair that you will ever find, because it is the most natural it's the most smooth. It'S just it's absolutely stunning, and i am so obsessed with the feeling so for people who don't know what virgin european hair is, it is basically hair that is cut off someone else's hair that hasn't been touched. That hasn't been colored dyed, nothing, so it is the highest quality hair and it's just absolutely just so smooth um. So this is the front i'm gon na just zoom in, for you guys. This is the front. Obviously this is the part where you will put um the like the headband on, so it does require, like some sort of headband um to you know absolutely function, because i don't think you know you just want it like that. So that is it, and this is the cap construction, it's very, very stretchy, um, pretty comfortable. If you ask me, and then there are um adjustment straps here, which is great on both sides, if i flip it over, you will see that there are. You know different layers of hair, which is great. It adds a bit more um a bit more layers um. So that's what it looks like. So obviously, you can't really do much styling with it um, but you can throw it in a pony or a high bun, which is awesome. But yes, i am just absolutely blown away by how gorgeous and soft this wig this cat construction and the color. It'S just fantastic and it's so easy to pop on. I don't even have to tighten the adjustment straps too too far in and i just whip it on, and then i tuck them beneath my ears and then i grab my lulemen headband. This is actually the only headband that i own right now, because i don't tend to wear headbands, but now i'm gon na have to invest in more because i have this ponytail wig all right. It'S adjusted properly! Now i'm just gon na throw it on now. It does require you to have you know some sort of headband to keep it on securely um, but this is what she looks like she's, not too too long, but i think she's just the perfect length. So since i want a high pony, the first thing i'll do is after brushing, i will just throw my head back and kind of do it that way, and then i will brush it out until it is smooth and to the height that i want, and you Know it's still a wig, so i'd still be um gentle with it. Okay, now that it is at the height that i want it to be, i'm gon na go ahead and tie my elastic and there we go. I have a hot pony. Okay, i just removed the hair elastic and i'm just gon na put it into the messiest bun that i can. It does have layers. So it is a little bit harder to. You know, get that smooth ballerina bun there we go. Look at my hair, isn't it pretty i'm a pretty girl too. That'S my brother max, as i was saying before i was interrupted by my brother, who, obviously you can tell, has the most amount of luscious hair, literally the polar opposite to me, but i managed to do this messy bun in less than 10 seconds. This wig makes it so easy for me just to put it up in a ponytail put it up in a bun. It doesn't give me any fuss, it does have a bit of layers, so obviously you would need like a few bobby pins or you know, products to keep it. If you want that, you know perfect pony or that perfect ballerina bun, but it is doable um. You can do it with any kind of any kind of headband as long as it's like somewhat. You know, secure um. I have one of these like winter ones, that i'm going to try out. This is actually my first time and be aware when you do take off the headband it might. It may slid off just because of how high the bun is, and you know, if you go back, then it will come off. So, let's just try, it oops see there, you go so let's try it with one of these, and even with this like this is um. This is not the most amount of security, but if you are just you know, going for a walk outside and you feel like putting on some hair, then these are also doable with them. So either way you know everyone's different um. I encourage you to you know, explore different kinds of headbands with your ponytail wig and another thing that i love about these is you can work out with them? You can run with them. You can do whatever kind of physical activity you want um. It has been tested by the owner emily and also by a few clients of hers. I personally don't love wearing my hair. When i work out, i just i like to keep my wigs nice and you know no, not sweaty um, i'm perfectly comfortable going out. You know, without without my wig, when i work out, but anyway, that is an option that is great for a few individuals if they don't necessarily feel comfortable going out and working out without their wigs. So this is definitely a great option for you guys it's actually the perfect time for me to be filming this video, because i'm just on foxhair.com seeing what the availability is and they have a few new um in store. So they have all different kinds of colors. They have black, they have browns, they have browns with highlights, they have one sandy blonde. So if you are a blonde chick, then highly would recommend um yeah. It looks like they have one two, three, four, five, six new ones and i have been in contact with the owner emily and she does plan on having more in the future. So if you don't get a chance to get one this time around, i'm sure you will have another opportunity. But again i would just highly highly recommend these ponytail wigs and i would highly recommend phlox hair because um i am from canada, they are from canada. I love to support small businesses. I believe she is based in halifax, canada, um so yeah. I would highly recommend checking them out. She makes the most beautiful. You know wigs, toppers and, of course, ponytail wigs, but i would recommend this to any alopecia or anyone. You know dealing with hair loss because it's honestly a game changer. Now i'm just going to quickly show you um the beautiful coloring in the wig and then i will wrap this video up. Okay, i'm holding this heavy camera up for you guys, so you guys can see this gorgeous coloring. There are a few layers which i think just makes it a little bit more realistic, but look how stunning this is i'm standing right in front of a window. So you are getting the most realistic look just so beautiful. I'M just gon na hold my camera for this outro, because i'm too lazy to put it back on the tripod, but i would not recommend anything more. This is absolutely stunning. I am obsessed, it is comfortable. It doesn't make me feel too hot. It doesn't feel too restricted. It'S like the perfect amount of security and safety and comfort um, i'm i'm just i'm blown away and i'm obsessed and it's an absolute game changer.
