Let'S name that appointment hi, guys, I'm going to show you how to turn your wig into a faux ponytail, and here is one way to do it, just a regular lucky, ponytail and here's another way to spice it up and wrap your own hair around the wig. So, let's get started so first, you want to braid your hair that will go underneath the ponytail. Alternatively, you can just put your hair in a ponytail and braid it into two large braids here, I'm just separating the bottom part of my hair, which will cover up any tracks that might be showing. So then I continue braiding. I found that putting my hair into a ponytail was probably better, but this also works. So here's my half wig, I made it myself, it's a little bit more than half and I'm just showing you the construction of it. This is my first wig, so bear with me and you're just going to clip the clips onto it onto the hair itself, so you can kind of make kind of like a cone shape type of thing going on because you want to create a ponytail shape. So it's just clipping on the clips onto the hair itself and there's a hole in which you can clip your pony, the wig on to the ponytail. So here I'm just demonstrating and again when you do this, you want the hole to be as large as it can be, so here it's already clipped on and again this is just one method. I will show you another one, but the both of them work. Well, here is the other method, where I just part my hair, half up half down and clip the half wig onto my head first and then wrap the clips around the wig itself onto the hair. Like I showed you previously, this was too difficult to show you while recording. So that's why I showed you in a different clip so after putting on the wig you're just going to take out the rest of your leave out and figure out how high you want to put your ponytail. So you can see that looks pretty natural. But I do have some of my own hair sticking up and it's not the same length so you're going to need a really stretchy headband to use as a ponytail holder and you're just going to go ahead and wrap your hair as if it's your own and Just make a ponytail and be sure to get all your hair out of the holder, then I pull on it as if I'm doing a puff, and I just tighten it and wrap it over again. So this way it feels very secure. Once it's been snapped onto my head and then wrapped you can see it looks pretty natural, and here I'm just making sure I pull out all my hair from the top and the bottom. So it's not lumpy at all. So then I just play with it and to make it even mark, look more real. You can just go ahead and pick and fluff out your wig, so it can match your own natural hairs volume. Here I decided to pin down any hairs that were sticking up too much and that's what it looks like and then I pull out the hair at the top of my head to give it more volume and pin down any random curls. So you can see that this basically looks like my own hair and it actually did wear this to dance practice, so it stayed on my head. My friends couldn't tell that it was a fake ponytail I can tell, but it's not you know, ugly or anything. It'S just a smile here, and here I'm just shaking it, because I was testing out how well I can uphold, and I took the hair from the bottom of my head and wrapped it around just to try a different look. It makes your hair look way more. Thicker and um yeah - it's just really cute too so here, I'm just moving my head around to show you that it stays on and I'm just a senior music. But this was pretty sturdy and if you're just going about a normal day, you won't have to worry about it falling off and then that's me playing with my edges and here's a picture of how it looks, and I hope that you guys enjoy the video bye.
