Diy Ponytail Wig - Faux Locs

Hey everybody welcome back to diva styles, okay, so you guys can see. This is going to be um kind of a hair video, a diy i've been uh, seeing a lot of videos where people have been creating like uh ponytail, wigs, uh, turban, wigs. You guys i needed one of those in my life so bad now they do sell them on amazon for like 25, but i was like not gon na pay 25. When i can probably do this myself with hair that i already got. So that's what i'm going to do so, as you guys can see. I have sunny right here, she's going to be my model for this video, and this is two different types of hair y'all. It'S gon na be a wig, so i don't really care um. So i got two not even two packs, because this is only a half, so i got i got pretty much like what two and a half packs of hair, maybe two and a half packs of hair. I'M gon na hope that that is enough to do this. Um, there are two ways that you can do this. Actually you can use a wig cap or uh one of my favorites. You guys i used to do this. Uh years ago. I used to use just a beanie and uh just crochet the hair like around the the top like a little circle in the top. Then i would make a bun with it. I i used to do that. I think that was cute um. So that's also another way you can do it that way. Also you don't use you're not using that much hair either so um, but i'm gon na try to do it. The way that i've been seeing everybody's videos, you guys, so i just have a mess. Wig cap, you know i'm trying to drink my morning, coffee. I have never used one of these before so that's going to be different, this little wig cap thing, but you know it's just the one with the holes in it to where you can crochet the herring. I have a little crochet hook, of course, and i have some of these little clips clamps in case. I need it in case. I need it, but i shouldn't so i'm go ahead and put this on sunny and go ahead and get to crocheting this hair. In all right, you guys so, as you can see, i went all around the perimeter and believe it or not. I still have like a ton, a ton of hair left. So what i'm going to do is act as if i'm going to pull it in the ponytail and i'll probably need to fill in some more spaces. So that's all yeah, like you, can't see it but y'all. It is some spaces that i'm probably going to go and fill in. Definitely so i'm gon na i'm gon na go in some more and probably do a second row and then i'll be done all right, you guys. So this is what it's looking like. I did. Two rows may have to do some more, not sure, i'm about to try this thing. Oh y'all got to excuse my hair. It is freshly washed okay um, but before i put that on, i'm gon na go ahead and put my headband on who this thing feels big. Everybody headband, i feel like it's just gon na, be too big for you all right so, like i said, i've never done this, so i'm hoping this turned out the way i want it to turn out. I don't have a front in particular y'all. I don't know about this, i'm so nervous goodness, i'm nervous like nervous. I don't know why, but i am now. I will say that it does feel um. It does feel secure it does. I thought it was going to feel loose on my head, but it does not okay. So oh my gosh, all this not looking bad at. Oh, okay, all right! It'S not looking bad at at all. I actually like it like half up half down. It'S not um. Okay, i'm gon na go ahead, put all of it up, y'all, it's kind of hard to do hold up y'all. That was a work in progress. Okay, so i finally got it all pulled up. This is what it is looking like. Let me turn around all the way around. This is what it's looking like now, let me go ahead and put my headband on where the heck is the front. Okay right there, because this is really supposed to like hide the knots you get one i'm trying to look into my laptop, but also like you know i just put this on with a goddamn rubber band. This is not secure at all. What the heck where's these little curls coming from? Okay, i think this came out super cute, like i said it was. This was really easy to do like not hard, my bad not hard at all, and i bet i could make this look so much better. If i was in front of a mirror, i'm gon na be right back all right, you guys, so i got it on here. Pretty good! Look at that. I mean shoot. That is a ponytail wig all day long all day long! Nothing is showing i'm actually quite impressed. You guys. I want to see what it looks like with my um, like my little slouchy beanie, because i love wearing my beanies. I love my beanies, so i'm go ahead. Take that off. Let'S pop this rubber band, real, quick and just let all of this come down all right. So let me go ahead. Yo, i'm trying to look in this god thing it ain't today, i'm trying y'all this ain't working! Okay, because i'm trying to look in here, but the camera's right here - okay - actually don't look. It don't look too bad with the beanie, but i wouldn't wear it like that. I probably put these to the back because i don't really like it to be. In my face, so i'd probably put that to the back push this back just a little bit now, let's see and then i'll probably put some baby hairs out yeah that looks so much better to me all right, i'm gon na be back. Somebody put some baby hairs out all right, so i had to stick my little baby hairs down. I actually like it with the baby hair slicked down um yeah, so i'd wear it like this too. Let'S see what it look like with the beanie on since we just experimenting up in this place, shoot let's try this beanie. I guess there ain't no particular way to put the beanie on. I don't want to get my baby hair hold on y'all got to go to the bathroom. I had to put one on that matched, so this is what it's looking like, so you can also wear this with a beanie you guys this is so cute. I like it just because it seems like i can do a whole lot with it now i'm probably gon na go. I don't know what i'm gon na do. Should i just put this back on. I think i'll, probably just put my beanie on yeah but y'all that was like. If you got some leftover hair, you can very easily do this. Like i said um, if you don't have a wig cap, you can also crochet it onto just a little. You know. Beanie, a crochet beanie and call it a day, but you guys, i think this turned out so cute.
