So today's video, the hair, is brought to you by my first wigs, i'm just showing the little information slip. Everything that you want to know about the unit is up there and this is their holiday box. But, yes, you guys. I got a little wig kit with everything that i need and i got a wig cap. I love the frizz tamer, the flyaway tamer. It works really great. I got a wig cap and a little edge brush and here is the actual unit. I love the little bag that it comes in to keep it stored in, and here is the one thing i like about their units is that they come pre-plucked. You do not have to go in and pluck this hairline, because it's already really nicely plucked and the knots also look like they have been lightly bleached and they have these adjustable elastic band that i really like, because it's also detachable so you can put it on. Take it off, as you like, i think, that's really great and innovative, so you don't have to sew it on, and here is the unit. So i'm going to be styling it on the mannequin head. Just because it's easier to do this way and i'm going to section off that front half of the hair and i'm just using a rat tail comb, which also comes in your wig kit and i'm just making sure that i get the part nice and straight. And once i get that section off, i'm just going to use a hair clip to get it out of the way, and once i clip that one side, i'm going to do the same to the other side, just section it off and this unit is a full Lace wig, so i can basically part it any and everywhere that i want. I can also put it up into a ponytail if i want i'm thinking that that will be my next hairstyle, but for now i'm just going to do the half up ponytail and the clips that i'm using also come in the wig kit. So if you have a mannequin head and you want to do hairstyles, i definitely recommend doing on the mannequin head. First it'll just make it a lot easier and quicker. Then i'm going to take that fly away tamer, because some of the hair is like right there, where the part line is, was in the way and sticking up. So i'm just going to use that to lay it down nice and flat, and i tied the bottom half in a ponytail just to keep it out of the way so that i can focus on the top half. And that's what i'm doing here. Just brushing it up into a ponytail, i am using ballpoint pens to keep this wig down so that it does not lift up and stays on the mannequin head um. If you do not have ballpoint pens, you can use t pins as long as you have some type of pins or needles to keep it down nice and secure, and i'm going to use some more of that fly away. Tamer in the front just to lay those little pieces of hairs, that's sticking up and i'm just going to continue brushing it up until i get it as tight and slick as i want here, i'm just trying it on. As you can see, it fits my head really nicely and i went ahead and cut that lace around my ears, just to make sure that it fits - and i did apply this off camera just because it's really hard to apply a unit on camera, because i really Need to be up close and in the mirror, just to see what i'm doing, to make sure that i apply it right, but i have numerous videos if you guys want to see, but i'm just going to be, you know laying a couple of baby hairs down. I'M just going to lay like two on each side. That'S it nothing, really crazy or extra, and i do this because it kind of follows the natural hair line. Well, my natural hairline, because that's where my hair sticks out a little bit further right there on the side. So i just like to mimic that and i'm using the little edge brush that came in the kit and i'm also using the clear got to be glued to lay it down with, and then i'm just going to tie it down. Just so that the glue can finish drying and the gel can finish drying and i'm just going to touch up that top half once again, because it kind of got messed up when i was laying the baby hairs down, because i was pulling hair out. So i'm just gon na slick that back up and tie it back up, and i want to mention that the lace did come medium brown. But i am a darker skin tone and i did not tip my lace this time. I put a really thin layer of foundation onto the lace just so it can match my skin a little bit better, but i did not tint the lace. I just cut the lace and applied it onto my scalp. I didn't bleach the knots or anything like that, so this wig came ready to wear, and this is the final look. This is what it came out like and i'm really loving this hairstyle. If i want, i could add some wand curls, just to give it some volume, but it looks really great like this as well, so this unit did well. It was a straight unit. It is 20 inches like i said, the hairline comes pre-plucked, so it saves time on that and i think that's really great for beginners, because literally you could just cut the lace and put the unit on, and i think that the removable elastic band is also a Really great thing to add on to the unit just because you can take it off and put it on as you like, and you can adjust it to your head without having to sew it on or cut it off. And all of that - and as i mentioned, it is a full lace unit, so you can part it anywhere. If you want to go straight down the back, you know part it down the middle into french braids. You can do that if you want to put it in a ponytail. You can do that as well, but i recommend any hairstyle that you do and you're doing it on a wig unit, lace, front unit. Whatever you want to call it put it on a mannequin head, it will make it 10 times easier. So then, once you finish the style, you can just go ahead and apply the unit without having to do it. While it's on your head, so you can see what you're doing and you can do a better job. I really like my hair pulled back because it shows my face shape a little bit more and brings more attention to my eyes, so i think it complements me really well.
