All right, y'all number one - i haven't done a 360 wig ponytail in so long so today, i'm showing you guys how i did this natural looking ponytail and we're gon na get into my new studio, i'm so excited, let's get into it. What'S going on you guys, it's your girl, easy breezy and i'm back with another hair sponsor. Thank you so much dola hair. They sent me a 360 wig today and y'all know i love doing ponytails period because y'all love them too, and they get hella views. So today i'm doing a 360 wig ponytail on one of my best friends, finesse, goddess, alright, so, first and foremost to start off this install before we even put on the stocking cap, i am moisturizing her hair with my mega growth, hair, serum okay. So this is a serum that i make at home that has like five, six, seven different, essential oils that contribute to your scalp stimulation and hair growth. I'Ve been using this oil since i started locking i just haven't bottled it. So after a while, i was like damn, people would really love this. Let me start selling it, so i make it from home. It is homemade made from love, you can get it from prettyscientist.com and it soon will be on galaxygirlhair.com as well all right so because we're installing a 360 wig today, which will require glue to be all around the hairline. I have to make sure that the nape behind the ear and basically the entire perimeter, is cleansed and ready to be glued and, of course, with the permission of my model, i go ahead and take my razor and just clean up her nape. You know i'm saying get rid of that hair because that may prohibit the glue from sticking as well as it could now. I am really really excited about this new change on my channel, because not only did i change the aesthetic, as you can see, and i hope you guys like it - i am also planning on doing different type of content, and i you know i'm trying to show Myself on camera, as well as you can see - and i love it like it - makes my videos so much more funner to record, and i didn't even know that, like that small nuance would change the entire energy of my video and how i feel about recording. But it definitely changed it so for a couple months out this year, i was like feeling really weird like uninspired. I was kind of bored with my channel and i wanted to change up my content or change it up somehow, and even though my videos are still pretty similar, i am planning on doing brand new type of content that is still centered around like doing makeovers on Females and things like that, but you know i just have to find different ways and different creative ways to express that and one day i just had this idea to completely redo my set and my boyfriend helped me out every step of the way, and here we Are so i'm really happy really excited and let's go ahead and talk about what i'm doing right now. So this is my version of the ball cap method and y'all know i don't use any holding sprays or like gels to do it because i feel like doing it with glue is way faster way. Cleaner. You know you don't have to get none of the glue on the hair at all. That'S why i love using the glue for the ball cap method for the front and the back of the hairline. So yes, we're gon na go ahead and stick that stocking cap to the glue and push it through make sure we dry it thoroughly and then cut the excess cap off um yeah. I lied. I definitely use spritz, but i don't use it to like. Actually stick the cap on, like i use it just for an added adhesive, alright. So now that that is dry, i'm gon na take my scissors and cut that extra cap off, and this is my favorite part, because this part is so satisfying for some reason and right after this i'm gon na show you guys how i prep the wig. For this video, because i realized i don't really do customizing and plucking videos like i used to so i'm gon na bring it back today, show you guys how i customized it and tinted it and got it ready. Oh my bad, all right! So i'm so sorry! I didn't record me plucking and bleaching the wig, but i will do it one day, just not right now, so i'm starting with. Basically, that being already done, i plucked and bleached the entire hairline, not just the front but behind the ears and the nape as well, and i cut out the jaw strings and the combs out the back. Now, if you do not cut those draw strings out, you will see it and it will not look flaky, it will not look scalpy and it will look ratchet and it probably won't even stick either because it's just too much going on back there. So after i cut the jaw strings out, then the wig became just a nice lace, all the way around and i'm taking makeup to tint the lace and after i do that i'm going to take my got to be holding spray and spray the inside. Now. The reason i do this is because it adds like a sticky layer on top of it, and it helps it stick to the glue a lot better and it's like. If you tint your lace with liquid foundation, it is imperative to use the spritz, because the foundation has like moisturizing agents and oils in it. That will prevent the glue from sticking so save yourself the trouble and make sure you use spritz yeah if y'all thought that i was the only one out of my friend group. You thought wrong because all my friends are all right. So now we're trying to fit this wig on. We had to kind of pull it a little bit because it was a little bit small, but um just make sure that you specify what size wig cap that you need, because they normally come in different sizes. Like small medium large and for my model today, you know i'm not saying that she has a big head or nothing, but she might need a medium or a large alright. So now i'm taking my liquid lace glue and spreading it with the back of my tweezers. Now, if you want your own bottle, make sure you use my special discount code, liquid lace, 5 number 5 on galaxygirlhair.com for five dollars off your bottle of liquid lace, glue, honey, all right! So after i spread all the glue. I'M going to take my cotton ball with some sea breeze and just erase that makeup off of there, because i don't need those marks. No more and if you kind of like get glue on those marks. They'Re really hard to erase. And i learned that the extra hard way so make sure you go ahead and erase those if you use that technique, you know before the glue dries all right, so one thing that i'm slightly regretting is cutting the lace before i glued it on her head now I didn't think it was going to be a problem, because i didn't know that it was going to be kind of hard to put on a little bit. But how to like avoid that? Is you always leave an inch of lace in front of the hairline before you glue it because you'll never know if you need extra lace, so that is something that i'm definitely going to do next time and yeah all right. So you know besides my little problem, you know which is not really a problem problem. The hairline looks good okay period and anything that looks a little bit weird like if the frontal is far back, then there's nothing that baby hairs can't fix okay period, oh chase, so now it's time for the nape and y'all. I love doing this. Like i love it because back in the day, i could not install these things for nothing. Like my experience was on low and i used to get intimidated and anxiety every time a girl wanted me to do a ponytail on her with a lace wig. But now it's like baby. This is my ground this. This is what i do okay period, so i just love like trying to get it better and better and more natural. Every time so yeah i'm adding my liquid lace glue to the entire hairline on the back and this time i'm doing a thicker amount of glue and i'm making it whiter, because i really want this like part of the wig to stay on. I don't want to give her no problem, so i'm gon na try to make it as sticky. You know and durable as possible - and you know i'm kind of going out of my comfort zone by putting the glue on this stocking cap because i don't normally put glue on the cap and the reason. Why is because i feel like it doesn't dry fully or it takes like hella long to dry, but i'll be seeing so many stylists on instagram and youtube put glue on the cap, and it turns clear so i'm gon na try that today and just pray for The best okay, okay, so the glue is still a little light um, but i'm just gon na hit it with a blow dryer in a few minutes, so it can get as clear as possible and yeah, but other than that, it's sticking. The hairline looks good and i'm not too worried, and you know if push comes to shove and the glue doesn't really ever turn clear. Imma just take some makeup to it and make it do what i want right now. The nape is on there on there. Okay, now we can take our scissors and cut the extra lace off all right so yeah. This ponytail is looking cute. Okay, looking natural, but listen it ain't over till the baby. Hairs is done. Okay, that's how we do so right now, i'm doing the baby hairs and i'm taking my comb and combing them out the way um, so they don't get in my way when i'm trying to put the hair up all right now, i'm not gon na lie. This part is a little bit tricky because this is not a full lace: wig, it's a 360 wig, meaning that there is lace on all of the outsides of the wig, but it's tracks in the middle. So when we try to put the hair up like sometimes the tracks be doing, weird stuff and it'd be sticking out or whatever, but it's okay, because we can still finesse it and we're gon na do like a quote-unquote messy bun today. So it's gon na look natural regardless all right, so i'm taking my pink hot comb and just hitting the front of the wig with it. So it can make it look a little bit neater. You know, even though this is a quote-unquote messy ponytail. I don't want it to look sloppy right. So also with your orders of your pink hot combs from the website, you will get a free little fly away, tamer that i use every time. I use the hot comb because it makes the hair really flat really sleek and it gets the hair a lot straighter. Okay, so now i'm going to take my pink hot comb and hit the baby hairs with it, because after watching different stylus and new techniques and things like that y'all, i realized that listen. I am not doing baby hairs ever again without straightening them first, especially with the hot comb, because it's something that just makes it a whole lot easier to manipulate when the hair is straight and flat and going in the direction you need it to alright. So now i'm taking another ponytail holder and adding it to the base, so it can make the ponytail sit up a little bit higher alright, so just to be sure, because you can never be too sure i want to make sure the ponytail is on there. So let's do the whip test um, all right! It'S definitely on there! So now for the baby hair, i'm still using the got to be glue gel, but i still want them to have like a wispy kind of like look to them. So, instead of putting the product all over, the hair, i'ma put it at the top of it, but leave the ends of the baby hair like without the gel. If that makes any sense, so the ends kind of still look wispy and also to give the baby hair a more natural look like i didn't cut it perfectly straight across like sometimes i actually do that, but this time i made it a lot more choppy. So when i molded it, you can see like the ends of the hair are definitely not all the same length all right. So both sides of the baby hairs are done. Well, almost done, and now let's go ahead and take these two pieces down. So we can see kind of what we're working with now. Okay. So now, let's talk about this nape right now, the lace is still a little bit light, but i'm not worried about it because, like every few minutes it gets a little bit darker. So i know the glue is drying now with the hair in the back, because we're doing a messy ponytail, i'm going to keep the hair in the back. You know nice and long, i'm not going to make it perfect or kind of like mold the baby hair. I'M just going to bump it a little bit and leave it just like that, and you know after watching this video, i kind of regretted bumping the baby hair in the back, because i felt like maybe i could have just left it exactly how it was. You know but um, it's too late for all that so yeah, but let me know what y'all think in the comments like do y'all think i should let the baby hair exactly how it was or do you think it actually did look better now that i bumped It alright so now for this ponytail right now, i'm not gon na lie. We was feeling the hair exactly how it was like it wasn't curled. It really didn't have any like motion to it, but it was still cute and we love the texture like honey. We would have left it just like that, but because i have slight ocd i was like. I have to touch the ponytail somehow, so i took my flat iron and did some curls, so it can have a little bit of body and bounce to it. What'S your fantasy say something you ain't healing me: i your soul, girl, really so all right! So now, let's look at the back again and i know y'all see those track, looking things in the wig and that's because this is a 360 wig, not a full lace. Wig, so there are tracks in the middle, but to kind of deflect from that you know what i'm saying, i'm gon na add some accessories in the back, so it gives it some some drama back there, hey yeah, as you can see me and finesse, are party. Next door, fanatics always been always will be all right y'all, so this ponytail came out cute as hell and finesse is definitely the type of person that loves loose, like messy type of styles bed, head hair, just styles like that, so i know we hit it on The nail this time, all right y'all. So this is the final result and i love it and i know y'all do too. If you wanted me to change anything about this ponytail or not, do something add something to it make sure you? Let me know in the comments once again thank you so much dola hair for sponsoring this video with this 360 wig. SheShe B: I love the ponytail but I think I would have wanted you to take the baby hair in the back and cut a little shorter and curled it with the baby flat iron to curled it, then taken a little bit of gel or got2b spray and twirled it around my finger so it could look like little ringlets,
