Super Easy & Elegant Protective Styles For Natural Hair | Vlogmas Day 10

Wow, all right, so my hair is all stretched out from having it in plaits. I am in dire need of a trim, and so this is why i choose to do some protective styles in the meantime, until i can get that done. So i am just brushing my beady beads and naps up into a little nub on the top of my head. We are doing a protective style that has a little piece attached, so we are keeping our ends nice and tucked away, and for now i'm not really using any products, but if you want to use edge control or anything like that, that would be perfect for this Style, i'm just doing a tutorial, so i'm putting any gobbledygook on my hair for y'all. Rub a dub dub. Look at my nub, so this is just a little ponytail puff piece that i got in my local beauty supply i've seen these on amazon. You can pretty much walk into any black beauty supply and find something like this. It'S curly and i love it because you can tease it to match your hair texture. My hair texture is 4c and 4b ish in some areas. So i like this because it's kind of like a 4a texture. I guess i don't really know them types like that, but it's curly enough that if you pick it out, it matches afro, hair textures and that's perfect for me. So this is a style that i can kind of like make into a casual situation, or you can dress up with more elegant looks, and i really really like that because it's super super super easy to do so because it has combs and a drawstring. I just popped it right on and i use bobby pins to secure it. I like to do a north, south, east and west, and then i do a storm test. And after i do the storm test, i look and see where there's any holes or any places that didn't snap back into place and i just pin them down so there's probably about, i would say, eight to ten pins and if you really want some safety and Security, you can go ahead and pin even more to your liking to your desire and storm test again ensure that all quadrants are cooperating and giving what they are supposed to gave that nothing is exposing that that is not growing out of your scalp and then proceed To live your best life period and for my next trick i will braid my hair down without cornrows. I will be basic and i will do miss sealy plaits from the color purple and i will save time energy and i will look amazing watch so because i'm wearing a curly big voluminous wig. I don't feel the need to make my hair super super flat and that takes too much time and too much arm strength and then the blood be rushing down in my arms and then they'd be hurting and i'll have time for that. So i just do plaits they're super easy. It takes me all of 10 minutes. I part them. However, i feel like that day this particular day i did like two on the side. Two in the back two. On top, i tend to try to part out any sections that are a little bit weaker. The top middle of my hair is pretty much weaker than every other area, so i try to section that off and braid it in smaller sections so that i'm not like creating any additional tension, or anything like that. I tend to braid down in the front, probably like a center part and then like two on each side, and i look crazy for two weeks at a time whenever i take my wigs and wig caps off and i feel no ways tired about it throughout you'll See me spraying my hair with a mister bottle, there's just water leaving conditioner and oil in it, and that just keeps my hair hydrated a little bit as i braid it, so that those sections that are kind of like intertwined with each other get some moisture before They'Re locked away all right so now that i'm giving very much missily, i just kind of pin my hair down so that it's flat enough again not super flat but we're putting on a voluminous wig. So we really don't need to have it super flat. I don't even use a wig cap because i feel like it zaps the moisture out of my hair, and i don't really need to do all that and this allows my scalp to breathe. So you'll see my leave out. I left more than enough hair. Oh boy, you can't tell me just popping that baby on and it already is giving what it's supposed to gave. That'S why i love this wig, so just you know, keeping it a buck with y'all. I did cut this wig already into shape and i did have help because i did wear it on tv. The very first time - and i did have the hair styling department over at the late - show cut it for me. So, but it's really really easy to do. I just framed it around my face because it was just a lot more hair than i really wanted, but it's already just perfect. I just pin it it has combs in it. I make sure it's secure and that's it if you are looking for a super super, easy style that i like to wear in the winter, because it kind of keeps my ears and my neck warm in the cold. This is totally it. You can pin it off. Your face, if you don't like hair in your face, or i don't mind, giving a little hair flip and having a reason, huh huh, so you know, do whatever is clever for you.
