A Grecian Hair Do For Courtney For The Aacta Awards.

Hey guys welcome to my channel wow. Oh first of all, i do want to apologize the fact that my video was late this week. I know i promised that i would be doing them on a sunday, but i was just like not able to do any work on that sunday, so i upload it on monday. So i do apologize for that because i lied to you and i don't like to lie to people. I am many things, but i'm not a liar or a thief, and so i was going to do. I have got a video planned of me doing mariah my makeup sewing a dress, doing some hair and then going out and performing. Although i didn't get any footage of performing someone passed um at the rocks where i was performing. If they've got any footage, i can add. Obviously no music is a copyright. Anyway. That was going to be this sunday, but um. I'M gon na put that off until maybe next week, so i'm gon na put that off. That'Ll come that's still coming, but today i have to do a week for courtney um, but she needs her tomorrow. She'S at the actor what's been nominated for an actor award which is very prestigious. I am doing some wigs for her and i thought it'd be a nice little video, because i can actually film this style today and i'm putting it on we're going to her tomorrow at home and we're going to put it on and then she's going to be. Wearing it - and i can take some photos - and we can add this - like nice, video of starting a wig and then completing with her inner, because the last time i did that she wore it after the the video came out so anyway. Okay, so she has this beautiful grecian dress that she's wearing, and i suggested she just she gave me the brief that she wanted glamorous up. So i'm taking it upon myself or i have taken it upon myself to sort of give her something a little bit more designed and because the dress is grecian, i thought what we would do is would do like a a sort of an up with a bit Of a piece - and let me um, i mean you'll - see it at the end of this video, but let me describe it to you, so i'm going to use barrel like conical, tongs and tongue everything into like a spiral she will. She wants some stuff hanging down. So we'll do some nice little soft bits and um and we'll make it nice and organic. You know my favorite word and it'll sort of come up in curls with a bit of a you know, barrelly kind of like textured join and then we've got this wonderful piece that we've had made for her. Not now you know it has. It was made a while ago, it's like basically like a human hair mitzi. We call it the mitzi i'll have that on the top with, in that inspire as well and that'll, be all like textured and all brought in and brought up, but with like some long bits hanging down to like give it that kind of grecian. Look where it sort of comes up and then sort of cascades down a little bit, not like a lot just it's it's not long, so it won't be. Like a you know, a ponytail it'll be like just tendrils. If that makes sense, i am filming in cinematic as well. Oh my new iphone. Oh it's so glamorous, but um it's gon na be really boring while i tongue it. So i will do all this in fast motion and then we'll come back and um we'll work out how to do the next part. Okay. So let's do it ah, look how gorgeous that cinematic screen is. Okay start the first motion: okay, i'm gon na have to turn cinematic off because i've just realized that it wants to make my face in focus, not the wig, and we want the winding focus. So let me go to the normal filming. Okay. Ah, that's so glamorous! You know what you absolutely don't need to sit here and watch me tongue this week. It'S just stupid i'll, come back when it's all done and i'm putting it all together. How about that? Okay, i'm back now, um, we've almost finished talking akita did this one cause? I was just like i realized how long it's gon na take, but let me just finish the front of this. I will have to go through again once it's styled and do some more tonguing for more specific ringlets or curls or tendrils or whatever. You want to call it, but for now i'll just finish this and then i think we might. I think i would like to find something that wraps around the head, that very grecian style. So we might do a little trip downstairs and see if we can find something in the jewelry box just trying to work out how this curls in front are gon na fall. I really won't know that until it's done or until it's starting to get together but, like i said i am gon na - have to go through and do some re-toning. So i just to get the basic structure right. Okay, so i'm hoping it goes together nicely and easily once i sort of pin the piece on and then bring these up and like catch them in. I still want all that texture of the root with little it's hanging down and then it'd be great. If i could find something to go around so um, we might do a little trip downstairs. Okay, let's go downstairs and have a look at the box, but i was like i wonder if you know where it is: uh: cold, cold, warm warm cold, cold, oh boiling hot! Oh it's boiling hot! There isn't anything in here, though. What was the dress like purple? Isn'T it i mean gold, i think we're the best, but i actually don't think i'm gon na do it? Are they cute every time we go through these like? Oh, i think it'll look nice at the back. I have to ask her if she wants stuff in there the gold chain - oh that's so, okay, oh, look, oh, is that the cross that's the cross here. Oh i like that one yeah, okay! Well, all right! We'Ve got a couple things we'll we'll spend some time. Unrubbishing it, the problem is that nikita - and i just do this - we're looking for something don't spring us, which is why we take really good care and that's why there's like there's, there's a wizard of any tag in there like sorry ally. So, okay, now hey guys little psa, i'm just dropping in while i'm editing this video. Yes, i understand i'm back on cinematic. I know i said i was gon na change it and i didn't. I don't know why i didn't do it. I do it also later on in the video it's all through the video i know now, i'm not gon na. Do it again. I don't like it in this situation. I mean it's nice, it's lovely but like not not, for you know, big styling. You can't even see the barbies and they're the best bit of the bloody video anyway go back to the video bye. Let'S take this off hi, oh nothing, to see here. Okay, now this is just gon na. Go there some pins how'd! You go good. Three teeny tiny little baby, necklaces, which i doubt that you'll even use okay, some more pins. Actually, i need to i can't text her. Oh i'm using both my phones, i can't oh i could i could i missed a job one. Second, okay, we'll see i've just i missed her and just to make sure i don't want. No, i just want to make sure that um. You know i'm not doing anything that she doesn't want. You know, but anyway, okay, i think i'm going to start. Let'S buy actually, no, i need to oh hi. It'S me, i'm doing a voiceover, well, uh. The reason why i'm doing a voice over is because um i just stopped talking uh, no indication that i was going to start working or i was going to start the fast motion. I literally just stopped talking. So i thought i should tell you now that we are going to start the fast motion. Get it hello world. Wake me up. Another good good morning got that smile upon my face. There'S excitement in the chase. That'S i know yeah i'm going for the ride and by myself i am alive, and i saw still i run towards the wind and let the challenge draw me in cause. I want more, oh, we are all looking for adventure. Adventure see the world is yours to find, with every passing day, there's more calling you out to explore, get up and go. There is joy found in the race and i feel it in the place where i'm free and i simply can't deny it that i feel adventure calling out to me. Adventure, adventure, adventure and i'm living free, living, free living free and i was meant to be living free, living, free living free and i was meant to be. I'M living free, living, free living free and i was meant to be free meant to be free, hey guys. Okay, so it's the next morning i had to go home last night, because you know it's too much. I am he's going to step away from the wig. You know what i mean anyway, so i've got oh about an hour and 20 minutes to finish this before we're going to leave and go to courtney. So all i've got to do is finish the top and do some little um. You know barrel curls and and get this into the position. I want it and put the jewelry in so we should be fine, so i'm gon na start with uh. Well, actually, yesterday took me a long time. It was like this is like two hours worth of work in just the dressing, so there'll be a lot of um time lapse. I'M not sure how much i'm going to show in that time lapse um! Well, you would have already seen it by now, but like there will be stuff that i'll have to cut out because it let's go for too long um, but uh today should be fairly straightforward. So let's get started and start the time lapse. Now you could be larger than life is the hopes and dreams larger than bigger bigger? You could be hopes and dreams. Okay, so i finished. I think she looks really cute really beautiful um. It is tricky i mean once you start tonguing fresh curls into a wig. All the other curls start to look really really awful. So it's a real challenge to balance out. I did do most of them, there's a couple that i didn't that is from yesterday um like down here, because i wanted a bit of a drop and i wanted some variation but, like i said it does really play with the mind trying to get well once You see a nice curl, you want them all nice right, so i ended up doing a few at the front as well got the jewelry in okay. So that's it! Now we get to go to courtney's house and put it on her and you get to see that yeah energized realize it feels so good just to be alive, time's a gift. My time is it on you, you could spend it on me. I could say you'll be blown away by the change i put the good stuff in every day is every day me um, every daddy, who okay beautiful, who am i? Who am? I? I don't know your way it was huge. I know i knew that i just you know. Thank you brenda! Thank you for doing this glorious hair, like yeah you're, gorgeous all right, good, okay! Well, good luck! Styling, because how much i kind of miss it, because i don't offer that service anymore, even though, like it was a service that i offered um god my entire sort of drag career. So it's like 24 years, and now i sort of i can't do it because of my arm because i'm injured, but also it's just it's just a lot of you know creative energy - that i don't want to give out anymore. But you know it's nice to do it for courtney, so it was always lovely to watch for me anyway. I hope you enjoyed it and um and she won. She won an award.
