Quick And Easy Diy High Ponytail On Short Hair!

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl rocks and I'm back with another video. So in this video I'm going to be doing a pony tail just rewind a bit in my previous video, I just relaxed my hair using the cream of nature, relaxer kit. So initially I was going to just stop my hair. You know wrap it style, it nice little short style, but since it it stretched out a little bit. I figured I'm gon na try and put it in a ponytail, so I'm gon na put my hair in a ponytail and to do something a little bit different. I was in a child a little ponytail, so this might be a fail if it doesn't um if it can't catch into a low ponytail, then I'll just put up into a high ponytail but yeah. If you want to see how I do this just keep on watching, okay, so, as you can see, my hair and its Bulge iron is dry, dried out, because, to be honest, I attempted to put it in a low pony and it just didn't work and the Fact that it was wet, it was so slippery, so the anchor that I put in just slipped right out, so we're gon na put it in a high ponytail today and we're gon na start from dry hair. So that makes it much easier to work with, and it's not as slippery yeah like once your hair is like this length. You can definitely do a ponytail like there should be no reason why you can't, like I always say, switch it up. So I'm gon na make this little pumps here my anchor and just a second ago I was using, I use the braiding hair as an anchor, but because there's a little bit more length up here, I don't think I need to use a braiding hair, I'm just Gon na put it in a ponytail with as much of the long pieces as possible, yeah all right, so I'm gon na take the scrunchie and just put this up in a pony and then with everything else. I'M just gon na take the edge, control or or edge tamer. I'M gon na use this one. I always use this one. I got it from this company mc7 collection and I'm gon na slick everything up. So, basically, you have so much more control when the hair is dry. When it's wet it's slippery, it's like it's just too much, it's just too much slit. Basically, when it's dry, everything just just lies down - and I like this product in particular, because it's like it's heavy duty and it does not play around okay. So for the very back, I'm gon na use some gel, and this is because I don't want to use too much of you know of my good stuff here and I like this lake, that it gives. I, like the stick that this gives at the front, but I prefer to to use it mostly at the front and the side and then use the styling gel at the wet gel at the back. So now that that's up everything is slick. I'M just gon na take another scrunchie and just put put it over this. I think I'm gon na take a small one like a little small, see and then there's your foundation like what nobody can tell me that my hair is extra short under here. Okay, I want to fix up the side here, but I'm gon na use the wet gel because it hasn't cuz, it's more, it's easier for the hair to move when when the gel is wet, as opposed to be so stiff, so I'm gon na do some little. I'M not good at this, but I'm gon na try it okay, so basicly that and that I got my foundation I can put any type of ponytail. I want curly long straight short, but this is what I have so. Basically, what I'm using is some hair that I have in my hair bin. So you know sometimes you got ta use what you have and that's what I'm doing today. This is all I had um. This was like a last minute idea. I probably used this ponytail in another video who knows, but this is it and I can tell that I've already used as a ponytail, because this is already set for me. So this is the anchor from the from the hair from the left that I'm going to use to wrap around the base here. So I'm just gon na use pins and wrap it around. So it's gon na be like a little. You know quick, temporary ponytail, so just wrapping it around the base. You already know and then just start to wrap. And then you just add your pins where you see fit okay, so I could have added one at the beginning, but ah I don't feel like it. So I'm just gon na start, wrapping, I'm gon na, say about take a bobby pin now and just stuck it in stick it in here just to give it some support. Okay, I'm gon na add another one. Now, at the back, since I know what I already put one towards the front towards here and I'm just gon na one at the back here now, I don't know why it's getting out of focus but anyway, so, like I said, I'm gon na add a pin In the back now, because I already put one at the front just to UM - spread them out a little bit. So this is the end of the ponytail. So I'm just going to take a piece like this, and this is gon na, be the second anchor and just wrap it around and then I'll just add. A last pin one more pin over here, just gon na take a little piece right here. I like to take it from the back. It doesn't really matter - and this is only one so me taking out here - just to wrap around the base - is kind of pushing it, because the ponytail is gon na be sourced in, but anyway, I'm gon na take a piece like this day and just wrap it Around the base here just to hide the tracks and to give it on some height from the root so literally just like this and wrap it around. I think I'm gon na use less okay, so I'm gon na take it on a wrap it and put back some. So I pretty much have my ponytail in place yeah. This was actually pretty easy. It was quick, I think, I'm gon na tease it up a little bit so that it stays kind of high and I'm gon na comb this out. So it's a little bit neater yeah, I'm gon na go put on some makeup and show you guys. You know my finished look and how I rock my ponytail, so yeah, okay guys. So this is the finished. Look with my makeup and earrings. Of course you know one of my accessories yeah I feel like I got. I definitely got like a little facelift. These earrings are from forever 21. I got these from forever 21. The lip color I'm wearing is from NYX it's their liquid sweet selection in the color teas and cookies. What else I want to tell you? Oh my eyelash. It is oh, my gosh, so I got my eyelashes from ex-old lashes, so I'm gon na leave her information below these lashes are Vegas, the style is Vegas and I'm in love with them. This is my third time wearing them. Yeah. I never believed by. I usually buy, like the you know, the cheap hair store eye lashes, but I decided to you know, take part in these, so these are from exo lashes, Vegas, yeah and they're. So pretty look at them, but anyway, I'm being weird now yeah. This is the finished. Look, I basically just teased up the top of the ponytail a bit and then it'll just have it all going back yeah, I'm thinking boudoir, just let my hair grow out a little bit. So I can do some more styles. I guess cuz I'm really liking this ponytail look yeah. I just want to say that I love you guys so much. Thank you so much for watching this video.
