For this week's video, we decided to do a how to care for your ponytail extensions video. We beginning a lot of people asking us to do this video, so we finally decided to do it for you guys, so we're gon na get started, showing you guys the tips we have for caring for your ponytail extensions and how to keep them looking full and Healthy and brand new, so here we have an inh extension. It'S just a ponytail extension that you clip in we're going to tell you guys how to care for this, so it doesn't get like gross. It doesn't get ruined fast, the first tip to keeping your ponytail looking fresh and brand new is brushing it. There is a certain way you have to brush it in order to not make rip a lot of the hair out, so it looks nice longer. The first step to brushing your ponytail is you're going to open it up like this and then lay this on a flat surface and then you're going to take a wide tooth comb. I would recommend either using this or a wig brush. So we start at the bottom of the ponytail and you just gently brush your way up. Slowly always the bottom to the top, because it would it it minimizes the amount of damage done to the wax, because, if you're brushing from the top to the bottom, it knots from up here, you're gon na meet with knots from here and make really big knots. And then it'll rip out the hair from the you want to brush your ponytail every time you use it, we usually brush it before we put it in and then after we take it out. We use our fingers generally while we're wearing it just to gently brush. It out, if it's looking all disgusting, just to keep it looking fresh the whole day for us to keep our ponytails looking good for as long as possible. So we don't have to buy a lot of them. Is we don't use any styling products in them like we don't put hairspray in them to like keep the wrap? All nice like? I know people say they put hairspray in the wrap, but we don't do that because we want to keep our ponytails as good for as long as possible, so we just wrap it and use bobby pins instead of wrapping and using hairspray to keep it secure. Another thing we do to keep our ponytail looking fresh longer is we don't use heat on them? They are japanese synthetic fiber, so you can use a specific heat on it. So if you're going to heat like use heat on it to straighten it or curl, it make sure to use the specific heat to the specific ponytail. You have all that you can find on their website so make sure before you use heat on it check the heat you can use. If you want to wash your hair, if you're feeling like the ponytail is really dirty for some reason, and you really really really want to clean it with some shampoo make sure you use the proper shampoo check the website for each different weft just to make sure That it doesn't change, you just want to use a sulfate free, shampoo shampoo. I think a paraben freezes, sulfate and paraben free shampoo. So one that's good for your hair anyways. You want to use it in this fake hair and you're just gon na wash it wet it and then let it air dry wet it wash it. Let it air dry, do not whatever you do brush it. When it's wet it will rip and ruin your wig faster to store your ponytail to keep it looking nice longer. You just store it in this cute little bag that they gave you when you bought it. There is a hair net that comes with it and on the website they say to put it back in the hair net, but we found it kind of really really hard to do that because then it just got all tangled, so we just put it in the Bag without the hair net and we've found it to be fine yeah, they don't get like tangled or messy in the bag, and then you just take the bag and put it somewhere safe. We store them in our carts beside our bed. You can store it anywhere. You want um, you can also store more than one in the same bag, because right now i have this ponytail and the other ponytail in the same bag, and they don't tend to get like tangled together. So, but they do give you a bag.
