Luxy Hair Extensions | Ponytail Review 2021

Hey guys welcome back to my channel for today's video. I am going to be unboxing and reviewing a luxie, hair, ponytail extension in this video. I am going to be unboxing and reviewing the hair. I will also be showing you a few hairstyles that you can try with this ponytail before we start. So before we get into the unboxing and reviewing of the ponytail, i want to go ahead and just prepare the style i'm going to start by smoothing my edges, as you guys can see, my hair is somewhat straightened. I'M going to be applying some edge control and using a blow dryer to get my edges a little bit more straight. You don't need to fully straighten your hair. I only did it in this video because i am going to do a side bang, so i wanted to make sure that the texture is as close as possible to the ponytail okay guys. So now i'm just setting aside all of the hair that is going to be for the bangs and, as you guys can see, i didn't do it too far out i kind of like it to be as close as possible to the center. Next, i am going to add some hair gel just to add a little bit of shine and moisture. One thing to note: when you are setting aside the hair for your bangs: don't use too much hair. If you have a kinky texture like myself, because with humidity the hair is just going to really rise up and it's going to be harder to lay flat. So that's what i'm doing here i made sure i didn't use too much hair for my bangs now. What i'm going to do is set up the ponytail and i am going to use my luxie hair tights. They sent me these and you guys i got ta say they are absolutely amazing. They hold really well. Usually, i have to use two or three scrunchies, but these are so so strong and perfect if you are afraid that your hair is going to slide or that the ponytail is going to come out. The next step is to smoothen out my edges. I am going to add more edge control and after that i am just going to braid all of the hair that is loose into one big braid, okay. So now i'm going to put the hair in a bun. This is a very important step, especially if your hair is not the same texture as the ponytail extension. Some people do end up, leaving their own hair to blend in with the ponytail. But again, my hair texture is different from the one of the hair, and so it wouldn't blend in evenly so we're finally ready to install the hair. But before that i do want to give you some general information about the site. This company offers a whole bunch of different hair extensions from clip-ins to ponytails, and their main focus is on offering remy hair high quality hair. Now one of my favorite things about this company is their large selection of hair colors. They have over 30 colors for ponytails available and they have two sizes. They have the 16 inch and the 20 inch. My hair color is the off black, which i will be reviewing in the 20 inch. Another thing that i love about this company is that they offer free shipping and up to 60 days for your return. So if you are experiencing any major issues with your hair, you should be able to contact them and reach a resolution within that time frame. I also like that they offer the buy now pay later option also available for purchase. They have a whole bunch of accessories that you can use in order to better maintain your hair. So this is the box that the ponytail came in very pretty pink box inside you guys will see. There is a hair sample. You have to use the hair sample and make sure that it matches your hair color perfectly before opening the actual box to see the ponytail once the seal is open, you will not be able to return the hair unless the hair sample does not match the ponytail. As you guys can see, i am trying it out on the bangs just testing it out in different parts of my hair, just to see if it's matching perfectly - and this is the ponytail - this is honestly so so smooth and very shiny. The density is about 120 grams, so it's not too thick. If you are looking for a very full and very big ponytail, this might not be for you. I would say there's about one bundle in here or a little bit less than a whole bundle, but the hair, surprisingly, is still very full. I'M really impressed with the quality. It really is a nice hair. Now the inner stitching is also very nice. It has one comb which you can slide into the crown of your hair, near where the bun is on the side. It features a extra string of hair, which you will tie around the bun. Once you are done setting it in place, you can secure the hair with some bobby pins, okay guys. So, while i'm styling the hair, i want to give you the pros and cons of this ponytail. It'S really great quality hair. It'S very true to the length i got the 20 inch and it seems about right. It handles heat so nicely it curls fast, and it's just very easy to handle now for the con. I want to start by saying i wish they had different hair textures. I have more of a kinkier texture, it would have been nice if there was a texture available that wouldn't require for me to flat iron, the hair. They do offer a curly option available. I was referring more to the straight texture. It would have been nice if they had a yaki version or my type of hair. Overall, i still made a style work and it looks really nice, but once again there is a very limited amount of hair textures. Another thing to keep in mind is that there is a no trying rule so you're not going to be able to see if you like, the way that the texture blends in with your own natural hair, some people like to try out the ponytail before committing to It hopefully, this video will serve as a preview with the whole experience. Overall, i do recommend the hair. If you have a curly hair like myself, then i would suggest going for the curly ponytail. Instead, all i'm doing now is curling the hair. I just want to show you the different styles that you can do. Obviously you can have it straighten. You can have a curl and i'm going to show you how the ponytail looks in a bun.
