My name is brooke. I am a fashion lover, a makeup lover and a proud mother to a sophisticated cat named snoop. Today we are going to be trying on a amazon ponytail. So without further ado, let's get started. I have tried many many many ponytails in the past and none of them look good. They either get tangled really fast. They suck they just don't look natural or whatever. It'S just not good. So today, we're gon na see if amazon has anything to offer. Let'S rip open this package and see, what's going on in here, there's like a clear hair hanging from the package, so that's review number one. The hair i got was not clear or gray. It was black. So, let's just hope. That'S nothing! Miaza niza mesa very nice of them and they send bobby pins, which is really really nice. Actually, this is what the hair looks like in the package. When you get it, she comes in a hair net with some paper on the inside. This is what she's, looking like out of the hair net, not too bad a little bit shiny, but not like too far off from my hair. You know what i mean: black hair is pretty shiny, so it has a draw string on the inside and a clip to pin into your ponytail. So let's see how this is going to go, i kind of want to do like a mid ponytail like right here. I think this will be cute. I think this is going to be a good one. You guys, i think this will be a recommendation so far, so good, let's see how it goes, i'm going to be using the chi enviro 54 hairspray, my brush a cone and my flat iron. I'M gon na be doing a simple ponytail. Today, i'm just going to have some loose hairs on the front to frame my face and then a nice ponytail to about here. So the actual reason why i even want a ponytail hair extension is because, as you can see, my hair is very very thin. So i want a voluptuous ponytail like everybody else, okay, so now i'm just gon na swing it over my head and put it the little sock thing and then the little hook. So now i'm just gon na swing it over my head. Take the little clip. That'S right here and just dig it into my little bun that i made now we have to find the little draw string, pull the string. Now, i'm going to take a piece of hair right, i'm so bad at doing hair. You guys i'm just going to toss. My ponytail around and wrap it in this piece of hair. So after a while of long hard work and determination, the ponytail is installed. This is what it would look like with bad applications. So, just imagine what a good application would look like this one is not tingling that easily and if it does, it looks like natural tangles and not like those gross mattes that some wigs and ponytail extensions give. It comes with this really nice voluptuous body to the ponytail, it's very very long. So this is how long the ponytail is. It is literally touching my butt and i'm not going to show you my butt, because i'm wearing unicorn underwear, but that's beside the point on this day. I didn't have plans on going out, so i threw my ponytail on to go to dunkin donuts, go to the grocery store and lay about. I wanted to see if this ponytail was comfy enough to lounge in, i would say, the lounging part was fine. The only thing that bothered me was it was a very long ponytail, so it gets in the way of laying down at times other than that it was pretty comfortable. It wasn't itching or tugging on my head or giving me a headache. There was slight frizziness from laying down, but not too much to worry. Also. I did not brush this ponytail all weekend to see how knotted it would get for the tutorial. I wanted to do a different type of style, so i'm just doing a middle part on the top of my head, but not bringing it to the back of my neck. I'M then brushing my hair towards the back of my head and still keeping the middle part. I'M spraying my hair with my chi hairspray, so that my hair lays flat as i go now, i'm putting my hair in a ponytail, i'm taking the tail of the ponytail. I'M twisting it in one direction until it wraps around the base and creates a bun. Then i'm going to pin that in place now taking the ponytail extension, locate the clip piece and dig it into the base of your bun. By the way i just wanted to put a disclaimer out there. I don't know if you noticed, but i need to really dye my hair, i'm sorry! If that bothers you, it bothers me and once you locate that drawstring and pull your ponytail should look something like this. You can leave it like this. It doesn't look the best in my opinion, especially on me, but today i'm going to be hiding that with a scrunchie, and this is what it should look like when you're done. The scrunchie technique is definitely the winner for me, because i cannot do that. Little hair wrap around thing to save my life, so if you have some thick scrunchies laying around wearing it to work this morning, i just put all my hair back in a ponytail with no middle part, and today i added two scrunchies. Instead of one and this day was the only day that i brushed out the ponytail not much shedding, which is awesome for a synthetic ponytail and here's a quick outfit of the day, this clip was before lunch. I just took it in a reflection window now my ponytail is getting a little frizzy, but not too bad. I really think it was just from the weather today there was a few tangles, but i think it's just because i can't stop touching it, but so far so good. Oh i'm doing like a mini vlog at work, which feels kind of weird, because i don't vlog at work. That'S weird. I just wanted to say this is what the ponytail is. Looking like, after, like five six hours of working, i've, gotten tons of compliments today and also i work at a dealership where it's mostly men, i have worked with people same men. They all know that i change my hair. Quite often, they all know that i have a youtube channel, but for some reason some of them still think that this is my hair. A couple of them walked up to me and said brooke, i didn't know your hair was that long men really don't notice anything. They don't notice. That'S that update. I gathered you all here at the end. To answer the important questions. Do i recommend it? What'S my rating blah blah blah blah, we are going to use emojis on a scale of one to five. First, the pricing. This ponytail is 16.99, which is affordable, a f for a 24 inch hair piece of any kind. Okay, of course, we have to remember that it is synthetic hair and we also have to remember the quality of the synthetic hair, which was pretty good. My quality rating is definitely a 4 out of 5 emojis. My only qualm with this ponytail is how thick it is. It looks unnatural compared to my peanut size head, but it's good for a statement. My comfort level. I would give a 3.5 out of 5 emojis. Only because wearing fake hair is uncomfortable, no matter how well you put it on wigs clip-in extensions, ponytail extensions, they're, all a little bit uncomfy my heaviness rating, i would say it's really not a heavy ponytail. It was not weighing me down or causing tension or pulling so i would give it a one out of five five being heavy af and one being light rating based off of styling wearing it in a scrunchie. I rate a 5 out of 5 but doing the hair wrap technique. I would give a 3 out of 5, but that's based off of user error. Of course, would i wear it again or return it again? I would absolutely wear it again, especially for a cosplay and to work again. Would i recommend this to others? Absolutely if you are in a pinch or just want to see what a long ponytail looks like this is definitely a great price.
