How To Do A Sleek High Ponytail With Volume Using Clip In Extensions

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel so right now I'm getting ready to go to the iHeartRadio Fiesta latina in Miami and I'm really excited and I'm gon na, do that. Hypo knee tail that I wore for Miss Universe, Slovakia, because I think that was a major hit, so what you're gon na need for this look is, if you have fine, hair or thin hair. Like me, you're gon na want some hair extensions. Today, I'm using the hair secrets clip in extensions. My hair color is Shanghai night and if you use the code, lady code, you get ten dollars. Ah um. You also need some hairspray. I recommend high hold but um anything works. I'M using the Tresemme climate control, hairspray you're also going to need a hairbrush and maybe like a small like fine toothed comb, a hair clip and about two to three hair ties. You will also need some bobby pins and then, if you have a crazy hair line like mine, I like to fill it in with some root, concealer spray or topic hair building fibers, because this will really help you get that perfect hairline after doing tons of hairstyles. For clients, I realized that not everyone has the perfect hair line, I would say, like 99 % of us have, you know some patches that we can fill in. So I do like to use the root concealer. This is the Rita husband root. Concealer. You can get this at Sephora and the last thing to get that really smooth silky look is some hair oil or serum I'm using the way, rogue, hair and body oil, and I actually just like to wrench my body in it. So I'm feeling pretty good and while I'm on the topic of face oil, I just want to talk about this product that I'm obsessed with right now. This is the melon and goats recovery treatment, oil. It is an oil for your face and oh my gosh, like I just feel so like silky and velvety and so like rejuvenated and I'm also loving the melanin gos revitalizing eye cream. I put this on every night and I really started taking care of my eyes because, first of all, my sleep schedule is absolutely insane and second of all, my eyelids take a lot of trauma from doing all these makeup tutorials. So I just like to use that. Just to recover at night, so these two products are absolutely amazing, they're kind of like my holy grails right now, and I do recommend them I'll, go ahead and link them down below alright. So, let's just go ahead and get right into the tutorial, so we're gon na go ahead and suction our hair to where you want your ponytail. So if you want your ponytail to stick right at the top, then we're going to go ahead and just section that hair in half taking half of the I'm just gon na go ahead and click this up top. My ponytail will go right about here and we're just gon na go ahead and clip that right at the top. So now we just have the bottom to work with, and this is where we start working in the hair extensions and we're actually going to put them in upside down. So it's a lot easier to do it. If you flip your head upside down and do it and you're gon na start with the top one, so I'm going to go ahead and section it to where I can put in the three clips so right about here and I'm gon na go ahead and flip. My hair upside down and we are clipping in the extension so now I have them clipped and upside down and then the ponytail will kind of go right. There. Then I'm gon na go ahead and section the next portion and we're gon na take the next piece with the three clips and just clip them in upside down one more time. Alright. So now that I have all the hair extensions in on the back of my head, I'm gon na go ahead and take a brush and just comb. It all the way up and we're gon na go ahead and just tie that where we want the ponytail so that half of it is just already up there and we just have to worry about the top half alright. So for the top section, we're just gon na do the same thing, but now we're gon na put the extensions in the right way. I'M gon na go ahead and work the extensions in probably about two fingers. Apart on each section, I should get about three pieces of extensions and I'm probably gon na, do a two piece and then two one pieces and we're gon na work that in and then brush it through to finish off the ponytail. So, for the first section I am taking a single piece of hair extension go ahead and just clip that in right here, the next one I should be able to work in a two piece. One before the last section. I'M gon na be doing a two one pieces side-by-side just right here and on the other side, and everything should be going towards the direction of the ponytail. So now that all of the hair extensions are clipped in I'm gon na go ahead and just brush everything and make the second ponytail right now, okay, so now, as you can see, I do have a very high hairline. So what I'm gon na do is take the rate of HUD's on root concealer and I'm gon na go ahead and just spray this wherever I want more hair, which is like my entire forehead, so just to smooth everything out, I'm gon na go ahead and take The hair oil I'm gon na smooth it through my ponytail next, I'm gon na take a piece of hair from the bottom, I'm going to wrap it around the ponytail itself and pin it in to hide the actual band. I'M going to go ahead and spray that one time and then the last part is we're just going to go ahead and tease the entire ponytail at the base, so that everything is super thick and super voluminous. Okay. So that's it! This is the final look. I'M gon na go ahead and finish my makeup and run out the door because I'm actually super late. I hope that this tutorial was helpful. I think these ponytails are just such a baton. Hit right now, and I was always so insecure about wearing my hair. Totally back like this, but thanks to these two products, I'm totally comfortable filling in my hairline, and I can go ahead and rock these ponytails.
