Hi everyone, its Beth from Street arts, hair and welcome back to another video today I am with my little girl Bailey who's. 6. Now I did a video recently where I did feed and breathes with qualit hair and it went well. Oh, I do feel that the technique is quite tricky, so I found another technique that I think's easier, plus you kind of see more of the collet in the braid. So are you ready boo yeah? Let'S go side, ok guys! So I've just divided the hair into two. Now this is the hair that I'm using today and I just got this from ebay. I just searched jumbo braids, there's loads of different colors. Now I'm using half in on each side, so I'm just gon na break this. In to try and get it even guys, if you can and I'm just using guys a little bit of wax spray, I always use this just to kind of tame down any flyaways. Okay. So what you're gon na do to start this braid is you're gon na take a little slice of hair from the front there pop in a little elastic. But can you see how I've not put the elastic like right on the head? It'S a little bit away from the hair and then I'm just going to kind of just put this hair out of the way just so it doesn't get tangled up in this next there and then going to use a Topsy tail now. You could just use your fingers here guys you haven't, got to use this, but I'm just gon na use this Topsy tail. I'M gon na pull that hair through. Okay, don't worry about it being too even at the minute and then you're just gently gon na pull that through that little gap there, so just sort of gently wiggle it like that, so you've, basically just pulled it through that loop. Okay! Next, I'm just gon na make sure guys that the ends are even so just make sure, just by checking the ends of the hair that it is even all the way through once you've got it even what I'm just gon na tighten up that little elastic there. Okay, so that now is really tight to the head. Next, I'm going to take these two pieces and I don't want them to sit that way. I want them to sit this way like that. I'M gon na take hold of that piece of hair as well and place that, on top of it next, what you're gon na do is you're gon na break this into three. So don't forget it's the underneath bit as well. So I'm taking like a top section and a bottom section and you're trying to get three even strands guys. So I'm going to start off that on this right-hand side, doing a Dutch braid. So I'm going to take that section underneath like that, now I'm going to take this one underneath I'm going to do one more underneath and now we're ready to start adding in hair okay. So I'm adding in hair into that finger there taking this one underneath now. This is the only thing. That'S a little bit tricky about this. You don't have to do this, but can you see how that hairs running through there? I'M just gon na kind of position. It underneath the pink bit so more of the pink is showing than Bailey's hair and I'll be doing that all the way through the breathe. So as you adding in the hair and you're taking it underneath just make sure that the pink is sitting on top and then I'm just going to start to just pull that pink out, so we're adding it in I'm trying not to add it in. So it's like, on top of that strand, I'm almost trying to put it kind of underneath that strands so again, guys I'm adding in on this side, placing it in grabbing hold of the braids bringing it underneath and before I go any further. I'M just gon na tease that braid out again so come back to this side, smooth out your section, adding it in try not to put it on top trying to get it underneath that pink bit there grabbing hold of the middle section underneath it goes, and that's It guys you're gon na keep doing that I'll, keep showing you how to make sure that the pink section is really really visible. So just keep going down that head for me. I will put into the in description my other two tutorials of how to do the Dutch braid. So can you see here guys we've got a strip of Bailey's hair running through I'm just gon na sort of place that underneath and then tease out the top there. So you really can't see it so all the way through I'm just trying to make sure that that hairs sitting on the front there so we're getting as much of the color as we can so remember on these last few sections, guys you're trying to get your Fingers as close to the headpiece yeah, I've really brought my hands in there to make sure you don't get that loose braid at the nape of the neck and then you'll just continue. This breakdown again working that hat on underneath so the color really pops. So I'm just popping a little elastic in there guys yeah, okay, guys so I'll just show you the start again. So it's just that little section of hair elastic goes in just pushing that hair out of the way. So it doesn't get in my way for this. Next bit pushing that through and then you just kind of pull that hair through guys and then just really really gently just pull that through once you feel like it's even guys. You'Re just gon na tighten up that little elastic, not too much. You don't want to hurt, then just do a little gentle pull and then remember you're, not holding the hair that way you're going to kind of move it around. So it's that way and then divide this into three. So I'm going to start guys, I'm going to take this left side underneath and then I'm gon na take this right side underneath left side goes underneath again ready to start feeding in that hair, so even from the get-go guys don't place that hair on top try And place it underneath there and then you're just going to keep working that hair through exactly like you did on the other side, okay guys, so that's the style finished. I think bail is quite impressed with her pink and blue hair. I'M gon na do a little spin for you, so thanks so much for watching guys, please let us know which way you find easier and we'll see you next week through the video bye

clariceerojo: I am totally rocking this on festivals. I have a difficulty doing the usual feed in braids and this video made it easier for me to follow. I can easily to it myself. Mermaid hair

Jenn Hoff: I actually LOVE the look of having pieces of her real hair throughout! I think it gives it more dimension and makes it look more like "hers." I think I'll try and add in more of mine in on purpose. This is so cool! I didn't realize how easy it was to add in fake hair. I'll definitely try this on my mom who has thin, fine hair. Thanks!

Kat Pickles: Omg you make it look so easy! I want to try this now, it's stunning! I love how happy she is with her hair; she's a trooper for being so still and patient :)

Sarah Janes: Good job Bailey !! So patient. And such a good mommy being so gentle ❤

Laura Nixon: Love how everyone is saying this is great for little girls, I'm 22 and going OH MY GOD I WANT MERMAID HAIR TOO

RL Rod: Looking forward to trying this on my daughter. Love learning new ways to do her hair. It's a special moment between us, daddy and daughterThanks for the tips!

Adriana Lopez: Love it thank you for explaining it so well ❤️

Billytisse: OMG! so beautiful she's so cute and you're explaining so well. I just received my extensions and I'll try to do this braids with your tutorial whish me good luck because I think it will be more difficult on myself than in other people hair So beautiful again ❤️

Rachael The Red: I actually really like the bits where Bailey's hair shows through. It gives it some really nice veriation.

Alex Pond: Love it! I'm way older and I think I'll use this with a matching haircolour as a protective style for my damaged fine hair.

elenaadorno76: This is the easiest way! Absolutely love your hairstyling videos! I’ve been following you for years! And a huge fan!

bec fuller: Love your videos, you change the way I did my braids forever and this is by far the best jumbo braids I’ve ever seen, I love seen all the colour and no hair how long do this stay in for? ❤️

Gloria Ferreira: Ensinou muito bem. E ficou lindo, parabens eu vou fazer em mim

Preslava Minkova: I just love how Baylee looks gorgeous in bold looks, she just rocks them. Great tutorial as usual, thank you.

Shans Gaming: You are amazing. I will try this braid on my 4 year old daughter this monday. Thanks for your great instructions.

Cheyenne Dunn: This looks amazing, so beautiful! Love the ombre pink to blue!

Rebecca Freidel: It’s beautiful. Bailey sits still so nicely. She’s so sweet! And I think her hearing aid charms are just adorable.

Kandina kane: This is Beautiful! ❤️This isn't a feed in braid where I'm from. This braid here would fit in with the goddess braids because of the size and your technique. I don't think feedin braids are easy. This is a cornrow with extensions / jumbo goddess braids. Feedin braids are done different and they look different. Where I'm from but everywhere is different.

Tujima: This is amazing! My daughter loves colors and this would be an awesome way to help! I also love Bailey's charms ^_^

Angela Harvey_99: This way looks so much easier. Thank you.

Youngster Films: Thanks for explaining this so well. I wasn't sure how to add in the extension.

Virginia Sullivan: Probably the most helpful, detailed feed in tutorial video for festival hair! Thank you

Pennie Roehrs: She looks stunning! I love how her face just lights up! Great job, love it!

Shnukums41: Hi I just wanted to tell you Thank YOU so much for this tutorial. I tried to 'feed in braids' the original method and I noticed that the colored hair I used doesn't really pop. Then I found this video and decided to give it a go, My 3yr old loved it!!! You can see the hair so much better and very vibrant. This method was genius, I definitely recommend for anyone who wants a dramatic pop of color in their braids.

Jean Taylor: That is so very cute! Bailey always looks fabulous, but this rocks!

Pauline Monk: I did this on my daughter for her birthday party and the only downside was the hair wasn’t really long enough. I think I’ll use your other method next time BUT use the thread through method for the first stitch to keep it nice and tight at the start which is where I struggle. I will say this, I showed my African friends photos and they were so impressed! They said they called them banana braids and they are apparently very tough to do on their Afro type hair. I was very proud of myself as they wear the coolest feed in braids and corn rows. Maybe they were just being kind ;-))

jackie b: This is so cute for little girls. I can see this being done for birthday parties and events. Like cheerleading competitions.

Christine L: I like this! My feed in dutch braid keeps slipping so this rubber band trick for feed in alternative is very helpful!

Chris and Amanda Lee: Bailey is so adorable!!! And the braids looked gorgeous on her!!!

Teetee Lawrence: Loveeeee it! You did a great job

Pop Sugar Sprinkles: Wonderful colors. So lovely. Thank you. Sweet girl, she was very patient. I hated when my mom used to braid my hair when I was little. I had 3 boys, so I never had to torture them. lol

monica forkosh: i love it i will try on my baby girl congrats for the model so cute

Molly Vanlee: Wow! I’m going to try this too. Thank you

29MrsH: Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Luna Plata: Your daughter is just adorable! The hairstyle looks amazing!

Leni Dubel: This is STUN-NING! I just ordered some on eBay, thanks for mentioning it as it is the cheapest I have found. Am going to attempt to braid my own hair.

Antoinette Gilbert: Pretty braids!!

Danny B: These aren’t feed in braids lol. Feed in braids you take small sections of the extensions and add it in as you go down the head rather than taking the whole piece and braiding it in. Very cute style tho! The pink and blue ombré is very pretty

Мехримах Султан !: Очень хорошее видео прекрасной мамы и дочки. Спасибо и привет из России.

K Ghaderi: Thank you, was helpful

Kris Hernandez: It's cute, an easy way to add in the color but feed in braids, you add hair as you go and it's kind of hard to not lose your grip

Bella_Iris: This girl is so lucky to get so much attention from her mom. I wish mine would have done my hair even once.

Ashley Bila: I'm so glad I found your channel! Your great!!!

Kristina Houston: Love it!

jilli: My daughter wants me to do this hair for her now lol

Chantylle Garcia: 27 seconds in and I already liked you! Great video, exactly what I needed. Cute kiddo.

Zar Buildsbodies: What would you recommend to use if you don’t have one of those pull through tools to start with? I’m worried if I use my fingers I’ll mess up the extension hair

Zar Buildsbodies: What would you recommend to use if you don’t have one of those pull through tools to start with? I’m worried if I use my fingers I’ll mess up the extension hair

Darja Savarus: Amazing work!

Ирина Семенчук: Thank you. Very beautiful. )

Katrina Byrd: I don't have to say it because everyone else did. Lmao! These aren't feed-in braids. But I really don't care because I absolutely LOVE the way she flared out the synthetic hair to make the color show more than her real hair! I can't stand seeing braids where people spent the money to add color but you don't see the color until the end of the braid. And the girl's reaction to her hair is adorable to the max!

Jene Hearn: This isn’t feed-in braids , lovely hair style

butywbrainz: Very cute... If u don't have topsy turvy, u can use crochet hook

Squidward With Blonde Hair: Even tho it isn’t feed in braids its still such a cute hairstyle!! Unicorn princess hair!!

Rabbs_ 88: Not feed in braids but this tutorial was helpful

Autumn Kunz: ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺ Love your videos so much!! Thanks for the hair tip

Jaqueline Apolônio: Amo vocês PARABÉNS

Angel Face: Aw, your video is so cute. Thank you for sharing. God Bless your family.

Koa & ASD: First off, not feed in braids. Second off, they cute though! This is more of a regular braid. Great job love your hairstyles.

Катя Соловьева: Спасибо. Все понятно, даже человеку, который не знает английский язык.

Annette from Ca: The Ombre hair color would look cool with the style you did where the hair was twisted in sections, working its way back as if it was braided , twist into a loops then the hair looped into next and so on.. HOWEVER ... pulling strands loosely like you fluff the braids out a bit.. would look like a chain of flowers in the hair. You could put babys breathe or ? Around it all with silk or dried leaves ... even fresh flowers to accent it.. as if it was a party or celebration.. like spring or even Christmas... it could look like White roses with poinsettias and pine or mistletoe tucked around.
