Hair Extension Info & Par-Tay | Vlogmas Day 7

My shoes are still not off. Oh my goat's, not up my makeup's, not off. It is literally the next day. I should be saying welcome to vlogmas day like 3000 or whatever day it is hello good morning, welcome to vlogmas day seven, hey we've made it like a third of the way. I had a couple. People asking questions about nails, hair hips, heels ass, the whole situation - that is i i should answer those at least verbally, because i'm really sorry i've been trying to get to comments and like actually answering things, i'm very behind. So, first of all, i got keratin extensions. I'M gon na just say things and numbers and you're not allowed to check me my hairdresser. I follow her on instagram because obviously she's cute and i like her and she posted about how at the salon that she works at they started doing keratin extensions and part of the benefit. The bonds help protect your hair. That'S what i'm trying to say so what they do is they take really tiny. I mean like very small pieces of hair like this is still too much. I just can't grab any less, they take tiny pieces of your own hair and then they take a piece of extension and they put it on here and they use a little machine that seals um the extension to your actual hair. So i have a scene which is sad. I don't mean this in like a rude way. I just kind of is what it is like. I have seen people get extensions and it just goes horrendously wrong and in my personal opinion, when it comes to extensions, i just like. I just think that you kind of have to just spend the money is where i'm at as i rip through my hair. I think, with like tape, ins and with um, clip in ones you can get by on some stuff, but with things that are permanently attached to your head. My opinion for myself also, you have to get nicer ones so that they look good and they stay. Looking good so these are bellamy, hair extensions. If that means anything to any of you. So there's that. But i also feel like you kind of just have to spend the money to make sure that you're getting enough hair on your head, especially if you're going for length. So when i initially was like hey tell me about these hair extensions. I was initially just asking for just volume, with my hair being at like this length. Roughly was anywhere between like six to eight hundred dollars, that is for purchasing the hair and then also for the service, and then you do need to tip so just mentally. Keep these things in mind. I heard that and was like. Is that a lot of money? In my opinion? Yes, but it lasts up to six months so you're like if i just don't dye my hair or i diet at home. You know the 200 that it cost me normally to dye my hair, if i spread that out over six months like it's, the same thing is, is the lies that i tell myself anything for the girl who lives above her memes for the girl with a dream Delusion convince yourself, this is what happened was i was at this shoot and it was like a several day, long shoot and it went to really late and i was just like feeling reckless like it was late and i was not in my own house, and i Was like high on the craft food services that i had just eaten and i texted her, and i was like just sign me up just like just: do it like i'll figure it out like, let's just happy birthday to me, do it she was like. Okay. Are you sure you want to do just thickness, because, if or volume whatever, you should call it? She was like because, if you are going to do length like that's an option, but it's just like i'm gon na have to buy more hair and i was like well, let me see the length so she whipped out her um bass extension and she held it Up to my head - and i was like okay: how much do you think it would be more and she was she lied? She was like i don't know, would probably just be like a couple hundred dollars more and i was like ma'am just take my credit card. Just don't talk to me about it, just take it just do it which again reckless, maybe but in the words of miranda. When i talked to her about it, she was like what are we just supposed to make like good financial decisions for our whole lives? No and i was like you're right dude, you know, you know she turned 30. She doesn't have kids what else you going to spend her money on the final price that i paid, i would say, was double what i was quoted in total, including like tipping the hair, the service i mean it takes a long time for them to be put In too so, like i get it, i have seen people get hair extensions and i think that they just don't buy enough hair. So when you're adding length in like, i know a girl, i'm sorry to her - i hope she likes it. I hope she's living in ignorant bliss, but in my opinion i was like. I don't want that because she has hair to like hear and she's so cute she's. So nice, her hair is nice. It looks good, i'm not trying to to a a talk. I'M just saying factually she has hair here and so then, when they added extensions in it's just like they clearly did not add enough. Like that's what i mean is i spend so much money like half my hair is up, and i still have this much hair. All the way down to here, it's just like very clear to me that they didn't get nearly as much hair, and so she has like really thick hair to hear and then it's just like two little like thin strands all the way down. That'S what like, if i grow my own hair out, that's what it looks like and i hate it because it looks bad like in my again in my opinion, which nobody asked for this poor woman. She never asked for my opinion. Other reason why i think hair extensions go wrong really easily is people. This is what my hairdresser told me: anyways is people don't properly brush through the bonds? So, as you can see, i've been spending the last 9 minutes and 30 seconds brushing through my hair. So what i do is, i put it into three layers or three chunks: i'll pin up two thirds of it brush through all the bonds, let down a third brush through the bonds and now, as you can see right now, i'm going to let the rest down. So because i got bellamy, extensions or something i don't know, if they do this, just this or everything they give you a brush that is specifically made to brush through all your hair and the bonds. When you get, the extensions in your hair, naturally is going to shed, and the problem is that your hair, when it's shedding and also the extensions you're going to have some shedding that's just normal, my hairdresser, also which i would encourage yours to do. If you do this, she saved some pieces of like the extension, so she bought a bunch and she saved a little bit because she was like then when you come in like i come back in in three weeks after my original extension appointment, i come back in And she's like then, if any pieces are just like laying weird or you know like, if you find when it's unstyled like, if anything happens, we have some more pieces that we can kind of fill in gaps with, and i was like you smart see. This is why i pay a literal month's worth of rent i'd. Do it again, i would do it again. Friends, look at me as your hair sheds. It gets stuck in the bonds, and so, if you're brushing it through it brushes the hair down and it'll come out of the bonds. But if you don't that's how you end up with like a rat's nest in the bonds and it's nasty. So what they told me is three times a day which you can hear it when it like gets to the boss. It'S like three times a day. That'S this is what i do i go through and i brush all my hair out and that's what i mean. I find it easiest to do it in sections because then i know for sure, like i mean it's a lot of hair, it's thick, and so then this way i know like okay, i got the bottom layer, i got the middle layer and i got the top. So the only real maintenance of it other than having to brush it several times a day is um. You can't use any hair products with alcohol and she warned me a lot of dry shampoos do like the air soles. They include alcohol and you don't think that they're going to and like alcohol is how they dissolve the bonds. So, if you're using products with it in it, it does so. Currently i only use either olaplex or pros products. I have a code for pros if you're ever interested below yeah, you don't want to use any alcohol and you also don't want to use any heat on the bond. So if you are doing like heat styling like you can do it on all the hair. Just don't do it like right on the bonds, which is fine, i think that's my whole spiel on hair extension, 15 minutes later hi. Welcome to this vlog. I mean it's nice because, like i'm visually lit, but it's just like all this light coming directly from above, so i always feel like. I look kind of horrendous in this bathroom, but i just keep filming in here. So the other thing i was going to update people on just in case you've. Never gotten your eyebrows, laminated or you don't know anyone, that's gotten it when i first got them done before you can't wash them. Some places will tell you 48 hours. Some places do 24. I think it just depends on the products that they're using and stuff, but my place is only 24 hours that i couldn't get them wet. So during those 24 hours they are kind of like glossy, like there's a clear like look to them. That you can tell so they're all the way up and for that 24 hours, that's just what they're gon na look like. But after you wash them, you can see like ice. I'M a side sleeper clearly by her puffy face. But it's still looking cute because of that, like you can see, i kind of maul, my eyebrows, but all you really have to do. Is you take this little spoolie and then you can move them and just put them in place. However, you want and that's what i like about it. Is it just like i don't know my brows could. Never i don't have my contacts, and so i can't really see i feel like my brows would never be able to look like this on their own. So it's nice that, like, oh okay, we were even able to get here, but i also feel like it's nice because you can shape them in different ways like you could brush everything straight up and like do that. If you wanted to what i've kind of been doing is like a little up and angled in the front kind of very slightly like shape them, so they're not nearly as much, but if you do that, then you're just done eyebrows finished and like i got them. Um tinted as well, so they match my new hair color, better and yeah, i'm here for it. I look like i was punched in the face because i kind of was emotionally there's trash everywhere, but i'm gon na shower. I got a green smoothie with almond butter because that's what she orders because she's a class lady. This is how i clip my hair in because my braid is just too voluminous friends. I'Ve done nothing productive today and that's how i like it exciting news, though 1015 is back with another season. It came out on my birthday. Actually, this is very stupid, but i just let all my hair down and now i'm like. Oh, maybe, okay, friends, we've done it we've kept. These are my pleather pants from arizia. This is a lime, green right, perfume and now it just looks like i'm lactating. Okay, we'll just we'll just do that - it's fine, i yeah. This is from asos uh, very reasonably priced, which i appreciate in a trendy top. She looks like this. You know she looks like she has a face. She looks like she breathes air and lives. So what more can you ask? I did add um a little tiny little tiny, green sparkles, because i was literally i was looking for bigger lashes because i was like oh, maybe i'll - put some fake eyelashes on, because you know it's my birthday uh, maybe i'll put them on and then i was Like oh gemstones, and also i was like, got my eyelashes lifted. We do not need fake, eyelashes, hello, so anyways. This will be like. I need to put some earrings in. I need to put all my rings on and then um shoes and will go. I always been wandering around with my sparkles over his eye, saying things like i need to destroy the creator i don't need to. I will it's part of my programming anyways. I'Ve got some glittery boots on. I know i'm mixing silver and gold, but i don't care. Don'T care a little bit, i like a mixed metal anyways, we were. We were gon na pre-game at a different place and i was like guys, oh yeah, what happened? Well, i told you i just i didn't want to get like. I don't know on your birthday.
