What’S up Dance, fit chicks and welcome back to my YouTube channel. Working out, while maintaining a professional hairstyle for work can be the ultimate dilemma for black women and women with natural afro-textured hair.. So in this video, I’m gon na share 3 super easy hairstyles to help you maintain and protect your natural hair, while you’re working out at the gym or at home. If you’re new to my channel get comfy and stay awhile. hit that subscribe button and also click that notification bell, so you don’t miss out on any new content, all right, y’all let’s get into the video. Here’s what you need: leave-in conditioner and a light oil of Your choice, one wide tooth comb & rat tail comb, A couple bobby pins, A scarf, preferably one that is satin lined A couple. Scrunchies or hair ties A medium to long piece of braiding hair, but a shoelace or a long string will do as well Before I style my hair. I like to spritz it with a little water to give it some hydration. Next, I’m going to add in some leave-in conditioner. Today, I’m using mielles brand leave-in conditioner, and I like to apply that generously. All throughout my hair., I’m also going to add in a little bit of growth oil by the mane choice I’ll also comb through my hair. With my wide tooth comb to detangle and stretch it out, a bit. Next you’ll grab your piece of braiding, hair or string. I like using braiding hair because it blends better with my natural hair. and then you are going to create a high puff style by wrapping. The braid hair around the edges of your head and then slowly tightening and pushing it up until your puff sits exactly how you want it.. Once you have it in position, you can either tuck the ends of your braid, hair or string in to your puff, or you can grab a couple bobby pins for extra security, Feel free to fluff it out and give it a little shinkdadink. And then you are ready to work it out For the next hairstyle I’m gon na take my rat tail comb and I’m going to section off a small part of the front of my hair from the back of my hair. Now, I’m not making this part super clean, because this is for a workout but feel free to clean it up as much as you like, Once you’ve made, your part will take a scrunchie or hair tie and put the back part of your hair in a bun. Then, starting from one side of your head, you want to twist and tuck your hair over or under. I’m, twisting under and then carefully grab and twist more hair. As you move across this section., You also could flat twist or cornrow this part, but for those who cannot braid to save your life, this is a very easy alternative. Once that front section is fully twisted, grab one or a couple bobby pins and secure it to the side of your bun.. You can also hit those baby hairs if you like, but we about to sweat. So I just leave as is. And just like that, you’re ready to go For the last hairstyle. you’re, going to collect all of your hair and put it in a low bun ponytail From here grab your scarf. You can also grab a pair of socks if you’d like to add a little more depth to the back Position. Your scarf right at your edges Tie your scarf at the back and then squeeze until it feels secure.. Then I like to twist the ends of my scarf together and then wrap this piece around my bun ponytail.. You can tuck the ends or add a scrunchie for extra security. I also recommend you add at least two bobby pins to secure the front of your scarf. And that’s it you’re ready to crush your workout.
