Hey my lovely so in today's video i'm going to be showing you guys how i get this nice and lovely slick ponytail, so the hair that i use to create this really lovely slick ponytail is provided by ali sky hair. They are 100 human virgin hair company. I will be reviewing their hair at the end of this video, so if you guys like to know the details on the hair, make sure you guys check that out. So what i use to achieve this look is some edge control, a hard bristle brush rubber bands. Foaming mousse a comb. I also use got to be glue gel and got to be glue, hairspray a needle and thread, and also a curling iron. Okay, guys so just ignore my hair right now. It is a little bit crazy, so you basically want to start off with freshly washed hair. I like to blow dry my hair before i actually do this style just to make it a little more slicker, but you do not need to do heat you guys. That is completely optional, so what i'm going to do first is basically just tame my hair. What i'm going to be using first is the mirror, raise edge, wax, and i'm basically just going to put this all around my hair just so. The slicking process can be much easier. Okay, so after that, i'm going to get my hard bristle brush and i'm just going to brush it and smooth it out, i'm going to just twist this up a little bit more just so i have a lot more room to actually smooth it out. So next, what i'm going to use is my favorite product for slicking guys. This gel is amazing. I'M going to be using got to be glued, it has an extreme hold. I highly recommend this gel i'm going to just get some like so and i'm going to just apply it all over my hair. So once you have your hair, all nice and slick, i'm going to get a ponytail, and i'm going to tie my hair down um depending on how you want it, you can have it higher, you can have it lower, it doesn't matter, but what i'm going to Do is i'm going to make it just a little bit lower once your guys's hair is nice and slick back? What i'm going to do is my edges. You don't want it to already be all slicked back and then it dries and then it's hard to pull out so just make sure you guys do that before actually using the scarf next. What i'm going to be using is this forming mousse just to hold my hair even more i'm going to spray just a little bit of that and then put that all over my hair, i'm gon na be using gotspeed glue and a toothbrush, and i'm just going To do my baby hairs so after your hair is all nice and slick. What i'm going to be doing next is braiding my natural hair, just into one braid, just take a little ponytail that i had off. I'M going to just be brushing out my natural hair because we really want the braid to be nice and slick, and since my hair is pretty thick, i'm going to try and add a little bit of that foaming product on it and then braid it now. To do the braid, i'm going to just be basically separating my hair into three parts, see i have my three parts, i'm just going to just be doing a three strand braid. Then i'm just going to be using a black rubber band and i'm going to tie the braid. So once you guys, hair is in a nice little braid. It is time to actually put the hair onto the braid. What we're going to do is the invisible ponytail method, and that's when you guys use your hair and basically, what you're going to be doing is putting it against the braid and then you're basically going to be sewing it and wrapping it around until it gets all The way down right here so i've already gotten my yarn in my needle. Basically, you just put the string into it. You even it out, and then you tie it at the end to create a knot. Guys can check that out, you're going to basically get the track hair and put it against the braid. Just like that. I'M going to get my needle and poke it inside of the track and into the braid, and then i'm going to just basically be poking it out of the braid. That is how you do it, and basically you're going to just bring it all the way like so so after i've done that twice, i'm going to basically wrap it around the braid and i'm going to get my yarn again and i'm going to just poke it Inside of the track, and just do that and you're basically going to be doing that throughout the whole braid you're going to just basically just keep on wrapping it like so and you're going to just do it and just keep going up and then just repeat the Same process again you're going to stick it through the track just like so, and then just do that. Just like that, so we're making progress. I have a little bit left, i'm going to just keep repeating that same process. So once you guys have reached all the way to the bottom, you're going to just be sewing it again and then you're going to tie it off. So next i'm going to get a piece of hair and then i'm going to just be wrapping it around the ponytail. Then i'm going to get some got to be glued and i'm going to basically just be putting that all over the strand of hair. And then i'm going to just wrap it around and use a blow dryer to dry it, and then i'm also going to be getting some got to be glue spray and i'm going to spray it all over. So once everything is dry, you are pretty much done. You are left with a nice sleek ponytail. Now this is optional, but next i'm going to be doing is curling my hair with a curly wand. Now it is nice and curled, as you guys can see, it's really nice really pretty just a nice slick ponytail. As you guys can see - and i honestly love it so much so overall, this is a great company, you guys, so what was sent to me was three bundles of their 20 inch brazilian body wave, as well as a 20 inch body wave closure. The hair is really soft and really bouncy. I did curl it, so it does not look like this, but this is how it originally comes in. It'S just a nice body wave, and this is also the closure. It is also nice and thick, which is what i like, because a lot of companies, they tend to thin out their closures, but this one has a really nice body to it as well. What i also love about this closure is that it also comes with baby hairs, so it does come pre-plucked, and that is really nice. When you guys are making wigs, it does save you less time. It definitely does not have a smell, which is what i love. I love that it does not have a weird smell to it. The company has really great quality hair for a lovely price. I do highly recommend that for people who like to save money, it does not tangle, as you guys can see. I don't experience any type of shedding, as you guys can see, and also what i love about this company. That i noticed is that it is double wefted, it's very thick, as you guys can see. I noticed that each of the tracks were two tracks into one, and i love that so much you guys. It just gives it so much more volume to the hair and also the customer service was great. They delivered it right on time. I really love this hair and i highly recommend it for you guys.
