Sleek Extended Ponytail On Type 4 Hair |Megalook Hair

What you mean y'all know pana she's dope, what you, what you mean, what you mean, what you mean? What is poppy to welcome back to my channel? Is she got the best panda in today y'all? We have a lot to get through, so I'm gon na start off by doing a soap rest on my client, I had went to inspect her hair because, whenever my clients wash their hair by themselves, always check it before I go in and do anything to it And I realized that she still had a lot of product buildup in there from probably her conditioner. She didn't really rinse it out. Well, so I actually had to go back in and rewatch her, which was a struggle y'all, because I had to do it on my kitchen sink and my sink is not built for hair, so this is actually after I had to rewash her hair. I'M gon na go ahead and press it out and I'm actually gon na be giving her a trim as well y'all. She has not had a trim in two years and she was just super nervous to see what her hair looked like straightened. She is a natural client who doesn't typically use any heat on her hair, but she wanted to like get it. I'M so pressed also that she can trim it. So she was like this is the perfect time for me to do a ponytail. So once again I have teamed up with mecalac hair. They sent me three bundles of they're 20 inches. If you guys saw my last video, then you guys will know I did a bomb asymmetrical bob with their hair. I had a bundle leftover, so I was like. Let me use this to make a little ponytail long, hair or whatever is spicer F, so I'm gon na show you guys that entire process, so my client, definitely has type 4 hair. It'S probably more of a B. It'S definitely not for C, but because she doesn't straighten her hair a lot and her hair is like really resistant to heat. I did go in with my hot comb just around the roots a little bit in the edges, and then I'm gon na go in and do one pass only on the rest of her here. So now that I'm almost done with this section, I'm gon na be prepping her for her cut. I didn't do the full cut on camera, but I am gon na. Let you guys watch me, take the perimeter of her hair and I know what you guys are gon na say that I could have taken more, but I always give my recommendation to let them know what they need to do for their hair to be at its Most most healthiest state, and then I do what my client is comfortable with and a lot of clients do like to preserve length. So you can see on the left side that I could have definitely taken it up higher and kind of even that out. But this is what my client was most comfortable with, so I did do this to the outside perimeter and then I went in and touched up her layers. So this is the bundle that I'm gon na be using from Megha look hair. It is absolutely amazing bomb. Bouncy cool. All of that I only use the one bundle in like a small piece from another bundle that I had leftover from the Bob that I did as always. I will link all of the hair specs in the description section, so make sure you guys click down on that link and check out all of their info, so for her modown I am using got to be glued spray, which is actually really cold. That'S why she's making faces, but I'm spraying it on each section and then blow-drying it to hold it into place and we're really help me with her hair, because her hair was super thick, even when it was so pressed. It'S just really taking small sections and focusing on laying it exactly where I wanted it to be, and I kind of just use my hand to hold that hair down and smooth it out before I blow-dry. So I have really been working on moulding down, because I said this before like sometimes I do it and it turns out balm and then other times I really struggle with it. This was one of the balm ones for me, thank God, because I was super nervous about doing this one, but I loved the way that it turned out. So hopefully you guys can see my growth with the moulding and laying down the ponytails. I'M super proud of this, so I'm gon na go in and it's been her natural ponytail. Just a little bit by adding some synthetic hair and just braiding it in I'm gon na actually be wrapping that with a styling strip, but I did want to add just a little bit of length to her ponytail, so she could be like kind of cute. You know a little hot girl summer type style, so this is a great way to add length to your ponytail if your bundles are not super long, like, I said we're working with 20 inches, which is pretty long, but I still wanted to add a little bit Of Lane, since our natural hair was not SuperDuper long, so someone had asked me in one of my last videos with what last longer sewing on bundles are glueing them and, to be honest, I feel like it really lasts the same amount of time. It'S just a different way of applying it. I personally like to do the glue just because it's quicker, but I have noticed that sewing the bundles down. They do have just a little bit more movement, so sometimes when you glue it on, it can be really stiff. Also, you obviously will have glue on your bundles, but you guys can see that I only put glue on the top of the styling strip. So it's not like the glue is not all throughout the bundles, and I have reused bundles before that. I have glued on for a ponytail because when you take it off, it's actually not hella glue on the bundles, and you can't even really tell so. I haven't really had an issue with any clients complaining, but I also asked them most of the time. I'M, like you know, do you want me to sew it on? You want me to glue it on and I just do whatever they asked me to do. Next, I'm gon na take a piece of the bundles from underneath and I do coat it in shine and jam and then I kind of just wrap it around and hairspray it as I go so that it will stay locked in place. I actually found out a new method of doing this. I'Ve seen someone else, do it that I'm gon na show you guys in my next ponytail video that I thought was really smart and if you have an issue with like this unraveling over time, then the method that I'm gon na show you in my next video Will really help you out so make sure you guys click that subscribe button and hit the notification bells so that you guys can know every time I upload so that you guys don't miss that video. So I wanted to go in and curl the hair, the body wave. Texture is nice, but for me, when I'm doing a ponytail, if I leave it in that texture, it just looks undone to me. So I give the straighten it or curl it and she wanted it curls. So I am going in and curling the hair. These are gon na be very loose curls because you guys can see that I'm using a really really big barrel. So these curls are not gon na be tight at all, but it held a curl really really well ooh baby inhale. He I was holding in my hand. I was like ooh. This is hot, so I thought it was cool that I can show you the hair curled as well, so yeah. It'S just go ahead and check that out. So once I was done curling the ponytail, my client did leave out some whispies on the side. So I am gon na go ahead and straighten those are those are actually called whispies cuz, I'm cheery. We call them wispy, so I just always said that, but I also laid her edges and everything. Oh yeah don't lie. This is looking fired just from this angle. Right here y'all, so this here is my finished. Look guys! I'M super proud of this, because ponytails are not really my thing, but I feel like I really killed this look.
